Beautiful palettes! I wonder if anyone worried about pan shape was ever triggered by circles or squares being used by....everyone. How odd! I'm not picky about packaging, but I love beautiful eyeshadow color stories and formulas. These are so tempting.

It’s constructive criticism at least from some people. Some people have said that some of their shimmers hard pan right away. Also they have kicked people off their PR list in the past at least for not liking their products. Overall I like what I have from them, even if one of their shimmers did hard pan right away (no I didn’t use my fingers to swatch it). 😂 I like to hear also negative opinions on all brands to determine if I still want to buy their products or certain palettes from them. I see indie brands, as just brands. They don’t know me or care about me; so I like hearing the good and the bed so I can make an informed decision. 😆
I personally think they’re overhyped and don’t find their formula to be the best. However the color stories they come up with are great which is why I’ve bought some of their palettes for way too much money only to hate the experience using them.
Honestly, I've not heard/seen any comments hating on Oden's Eye palettes 🤷♀️. I love OE and KK - and a whole load of other brands 😊. I agree with the "show love, not hate" sentiment ❤

I have two Klarity palettes and I love both of them. Their quality is great and their shimmers etc are rich and buttery. This is really pretty and I noticed the shape of the pans but didn't pay any attention to it lol I can't believe people are being so silly about something that isn't copy righted. It's an eyeshadow pan. LOL I'm with you Steff! The Little Mermaid is my all time fave Disney movie. I loved all three looks and I think the second was my favorite. The Croc palette is on my wish list and I might have to add this one too!

When I mentioned on your short that it looked like Oden’s Eye pan shape and layout, it wasn’t a slam against Klarity. I know the written word doesn’t show inflection, or intention. That said companies can choose their layout, pan shape and size so I thought it interesting they chose this one with so many options, but it doesn’t matter to me one bit. Many companies choose standard round, so I love when companies do something different.
It's a very nice palette. I loved your first look the most. You would think that people would have not hate for everything rlse than to worry about what the palette looks like. As long as all the colors work nicely than leave it alone. Thankfully, I can ;eave this one alone but that doesn't take away anything from the palette. It just doesn't have enough of my kind of colors in it. I id want o ask you a question. Nothing to do with the palette. I think most of the videos I watch from you , you usually don't use a rounded fluffy brush in the crease to start off your look. Can I ask you why and what brush you love to start with?
I totally understand you not relating to the color story and that's all good. I use various brushes in the crease and it all depends on what shade I'm using. If its a shade I want to pack on then I reach for the Game Beauty E01. If it's a light shade I want to just blend as transition then I use something like the Rephr 15.
I love that they’re doing smaller pan sizes and that packing (while looking a lot like Oden’s Eye) is very lux. I love all 3 looks but I’m floored by Look 2 even though that isn’t my usual style. Great looks Steff!
I bought several palettes from klarity and they were packaged so nicely, however two shades did come broken. They replied promptly and because they sold the shades in singles, they are sending just the shades that broke. I appreciate that because I don't need a whole palette, it would be a waste.
And I think their pans are magnetic if I’m not mistaken so they can always be moved to another palette if you want. I’m glad the customer service team was able to help you.
Love Klarity's formula. I did have 1 broken palette and customer service promptly sent a replacement shadow that I could pop into the palette. Great Customer Service experience and I have purchased from this brand many times. :)
Thanks for sharing!! I too have always had a great experience with them and I’ve bought the majority of the KK palettes. Never an issue but I understand some do arise and as a brand owner it’s just part of the job the handle them accordingly.
Hallo Steff, three stunning looks. I have a question "⁉️"\ idea, at the end of your video are you able if applicable show a pic of eye looks you did. I just love the looks you do. As per Klarity I have the og croq palette upon your recommendation and one of my favorites. I was so close to getting the apocalypse palette last year. I look forward to seeing Halloween palette. I said this in several comment sections on this palette no one owns a shape and white package ( I am not a fan of white 😂 just shows dirty fingers more , how hard is this to clean?) Very nice palette and almost 24K 🎉🎉🎉
😊 I think this one's really pretty. It gives maritime vibes. The Adept and Clionadh sea inspired palettes weren't for me, was a bit disappointed because I really love maritime vibes ... This looks much more like I imagined it! I love pink and orange w the blues

I love that you addressed the pan shape but also kinda hate that you had to do that as well. Isn’t it a shame that we have to worry about how people might be in the comments 🙁 I’m wondering if they used the Give Me Glow formula previously as the pan shapes & sizes were identical. If so I really want to pick up their Apocalypse palette but it always sells out so quickly! Beautiful looks! I think I like look 2 best, as I love how simple & classic it is on the lid but with that gorgeous pop of colour on the lower lashline 💖
I have one GMG palette but no, I think their formulas are definitely different. To me, I feel KK stands apart when it comes to formula. I’ve had a hard time comparing it to others. Maybe some of the smooth duochromes are similar but that’s about it. TBH at the end of the day, a lot of indie brands use the same labs and likely do have the same formulas. Of course we can’t try all of the indie brands out there but I wouldn’t be surprised if we have at least 4 or 5 different brands in our stashes with the same formula and we don’t know it!

Oh wow I’m so sorry you have to go through all of that. My goodness it’s only a pallet people really get that upset over a pallet. I don’t understand. They complain when Coster high, but if Brand uses an already preformed pallet to press their shadows into it keeps cost down. I would believe I do also like clarity cosmetics, and I think sometimes people major in the minors. After all at the end of the day it’s make up then we washed it off our faces don’t we

I love Kalarity, I don’t know what the drama is surrounding the brand but I’m just here for the makeup. I do see the pan similarity with odens eye but who cares. I have the evil mermaid and the croc palette and love both. This is a gorgeous palette and I love all the looks you created.
Croc is an amazing palette. At the end of the day there are tons of palettes that use the same pan shapes and sizes. Sure the inside looks similar to OE but the outside is totally not OE and fits the overall theme of the palette which was Little Mermaid 🧜♀️.
I'm so excited for this release. I love their sparkly shimmer formula and I love the lettering on the packaging. I could wish there was a purple in there for Ariel's seashells and a yellow for Flounder, but still, good job Klarity!
I hope they restock the Apocalypse eyeshadow palette, I have wanted it for so long. I have the evil mermaid, I just haven't reached for it because of the colorstory, but I like the quality of it.

I don’t care that they chose the same pan sizes as odens eye. They don’t own the square pan shape. Also, they are both small indies and it’s not like Klarity is a big brand like Too Faced trying to do something clearly unethical towards a small indie brand. 🤷🏻♀️
@@SteffsBeautyStash I remember símil outrage when Kaleidos did the Flower Punk palette because some people were saying that they were ripping off Melt because of the long rectangular pans. Urban Decay and probably brands created before many of us were even born have been using long rectangular pans for decades. 😂 I don’t like to jump on the cancel or hate bandwagon for insignificant things. 🙈
Curiosity though, were there negative comments about the pan shape? Or just observations?? It makes me sad that I always click on your videos because they are so uplifting and light, a good distraction from the many woes of life currently. This one is starting out so negative, its a real bummer.
I know I rarely have to make these types of “speeches” prior to beginning but I was getting a lot of negativity on my Community post and Short video regarding this palette. I understand the pans are similar but that’s where it stops. They aren’t moving to this palette style it was just what fit the theme of the palette. The manufacturer owns the palette layout and that’s what she chose. People are making it seem that KK is trying to be OE when that’s not the case at all. The formula is different, the theme is different, and the outward packaging is different.

Beautiful looks! Loved look #2 😍 I love their eye palettes! The Halloween palette last yr was so good, I got it way after the holidays but it was so worth the wait!
I’ve had a couple shadows come broken from different palettes but they’ve always replaced the shade no questions asked! I’ve heard ppl talk bad about them but I’ve never had 1 issue with them and I’ve been buying from them for a couple years. And idk why ppl are saying they are copying!!! Look at all the “dupes” brands do, I don’t see ppl ima up roar over that 🤷🏻♀️ ppl need to learn to focus on things that are more important, it’s just makeup ppl
Aside from similar inner packaging, the formula is not the same as OE nor is the exterior or overall brand. They are not trying to be OE at all, it was just the packaging that fit best for this particular theme.
Klarity Kosmetics were so helpful in my getting the Croc palette - it had sold out!! They're an awesome brand 👏 WOW, there wasn't one dud shade in the entire palette and every shade performed brilliantly. I love the calligraphy style print too 😊 Of course, I loved all 3 looks 😍. Do you ever create a look and think "this is gorgeous and it's even better than I imagined it would be"? Lots of love to you, 🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡
Loved all 3 looks! And love klarity kosmetics! The quality is always stellar. While I was slightly surprised by the pan shape look, it doesn’t really matter as it’s the product that counts. Both odens and klarity have amazing formulas. ❤️ one thing that’s a bit off is that the pricing is much higher than their previous palettes, considering the smaller pan size. Would have been nicer if they were able to lower the price points as well, given that there’s probably less product per pan. Regardless, probably going to still pick this up! Great review steff! ❤️
I can inquire about that for you all. I know others have mentioned to me as well. I think it has to do with the cost of everything going up and that now they are accepting discount codes when previously they had stopped. Idk but that could be why.
The very second the brush touched your skin I was like: "Wow, that's an amazing formular!" I'm surprised how amazing everything goes together in this palette, I didn't see it at first. The looks remind my of sea shells and coral reefs - so pretty! 💖 Sadly I have to decrease my make-up budget because my fiance is going for a career change, which will make him happier but pays less. So I'm going to shop my stash more. 😁 Thank you for your clear stance on comment etiquette! Nobody needs unproductive negativity.

I really love this palette! I did from the minute I saw the colour story
It’s so unique! The rust shades are what drew me to this palette.
I love Kalarity, I don’t know what the drama is surrounding the brand but I’m just here for the makeup. I do see the pan similarity with odens eye but who cares. I have the evil mermaid and the croc palette and love both. This is a gorgeous palette and I love all the looks you created.
Croc is an amazing palette. At the end of the day there are tons of palettes that use the same pan shapes and sizes. Sure the inside looks similar to OE but the outside is totally not OE and fits the overall theme of the palette which was Little Mermaid 🧜♀️.

I'm so excited for this release. I love their sparkly shimmer formula and I love the lettering on the packaging. I could wish there was a purple in there for Ariel's seashells and a yellow for Flounder, but still, good job Klarity!

There is a very dark purple but I know the purple you mean, that would have been lovely!

I hope they restock the Apocalypse eyeshadow palette, I have wanted it for so long. I have the evil mermaid, I just haven't reached for it because of the colorstory, but I like the quality of it.

I don’t care that they chose the same pan sizes as odens eye. They don’t own the square pan shape. Also, they are both small indies and it’s not like Klarity is a big brand like Too Faced trying to do something clearly unethical towards a small indie brand. 🤷🏻♀️
Yeah I seriously don’t understand what the big deal is. If anything blame the manufacturer for selling the same shapes to all the indie brands.
@@SteffsBeautyStash I remember símil outrage when Kaleidos did the Flower Punk palette because some people were saying that they were ripping off Melt because of the long rectangular pans. Urban Decay and probably brands created before many of us were even born have been using long rectangular pans for decades. 😂 I don’t like to jump on the cancel or hate bandwagon for insignificant things. 🙈
Curiosity though, were there negative comments about the pan shape? Or just observations?? It makes me sad that I always click on your videos because they are so uplifting and light, a good distraction from the many woes of life currently.
This one is starting out so negative, its a real bummer.
I know I rarely have to make these types of “speeches” prior to beginning but I was getting a lot of negativity on my Community post and Short video regarding this palette. I understand the pans are similar but that’s where it stops. They aren’t moving to this palette style it was just what fit the theme of the palette. The manufacturer owns the palette layout and that’s what she chose. People are making it seem that KK is trying to be OE when that’s not the case at all. The formula is different, the theme is different, and the outward packaging is different.

Beautiful looks! Loved look #2 😍 I love their eye palettes! The Halloween palette last yr was so good, I got it way after the holidays but it was so worth the wait!
I’ve had a couple shadows come broken from different palettes but they’ve always replaced the shade no questions asked! I’ve heard ppl talk bad about them but I’ve never had 1 issue with them and I’ve been buying from them for a couple years. And idk why ppl are saying they are copying!!! Look at all the “dupes” brands do, I don’t see ppl ima up roar over that 🤷🏻♀️ ppl need to learn to focus on things that are more important, it’s just makeup ppl
It was amazing! I know it was a little late in launching but I still love it! So unique!
Aside from similar inner packaging, the formula is not the same as OE nor is the exterior or overall brand. They are not trying to be OE at all, it was just the packaging that fit best for this particular theme.
Klarity Kosmetics were so helpful in my getting the Croc palette - it had sold out!! They're an awesome brand 👏
WOW, there wasn't one dud shade in the entire palette and every shade performed brilliantly. I love the calligraphy style print too 😊

Loved all 3 looks! And love klarity kosmetics! The quality is always stellar. While I was slightly surprised by the pan shape look, it doesn’t really matter as it’s the product that counts. Both odens and klarity have amazing formulas. ❤️ one thing that’s a bit off is that the pricing is much higher than their previous palettes, considering the smaller pan size. Would have been nicer if they were able to lower the price points as well, given that there’s probably less product per pan.
Regardless, probably going to still pick this up! Great review steff! ❤️
I can inquire about that for you all. I know others have mentioned to me as well. I think it has to do with the cost of everything going up and that now they are accepting discount codes when previously they had stopped. Idk but that could be why.

I'm surprised how amazing everything goes together in this palette, I didn't see it at first. The looks remind my of sea shells and coral reefs - so pretty! 💖
Sadly I have to decrease my make-up budget because my fiance is going for a career change, which will make him happier but pays less. So I'm going to shop my stash more. 😁
