Thank you for sharing, Don Giller. Even though I am located in Copenhagen, Denmark, I too love and miss Mr. Letterman. He was, and in my mind still is the best, that ever was!
I asked the host afterwards just that. She said there'd probably be an audio podcast but no video. Also asked her if it were ok should someone who might have cell-phoned the entire event to upload it on the You Tubes. She said she didn't know but it'd probably be ok. I told her I was asking for a friend. :)
Thanks for taping and posting. Heard your disappointment when they cut-off questions, so was glad you still managed to ask yours, even if it didn't come out quite right. (Opening trenchcoat - "Yeah, I've got yer DVDs right here...")
brewer921 Me, too, as I wrote in the description above. After I was home and played it back, I felt like a complete idiot. That wasn't at all what I had intended to ask him.
At the same time, I was later informed that the intent of the question _did_ come through clearly enough, so while your assumption is perfectly understandable, Dave got what I was trying to ask. Still, my wording sucked.
@@dongiller Man.. I am the same way in these situations. If I have to much time to think about it.. forget about it. If I happen to stumble across someone and ask a question it comes out so much better then if there is any time for preparation. I truly sympathize.

This, my friend, is GOLD. Thank you so much for the upload. May you win the lottery twice after this.
Thanks for the video. It's great to see Dave again; he's always funny, thoughtful, and refreshing.
Just wonderful. Made me miss him and his show, even more than I did.
Donz! Thanks for being the Guy who put the clip on the UA-cam.
Mark -- who else? :)
We've been waiting for this kind of discussion for about a year. Thanks Donz!
He's the best. No two ways about it. A national treasure.
A national treasure, indeed...couldn't have said it better myself.
Finally getting to this. Thx Don!
It's great that you recorded this event at all Don. Thank you!
very cool. did you go to the springsteen talk
Couldn't; they were simultaneous events.
Too bad. Maybe some one else has video. Too bad the new yorker doesn't put this on line

Sneaky. But audio would be cool
Thank you for recording
Thanks for posting Donz!

notatinklefan I probably would have still botched it had the time existed. :)
I love you for doing this - haven't even watched it yet cos I wanna get a snack, get comfy and indulge - Thank you Thank you
He's a one of a kind..
Thanks for this, Don
watching this is like meeting him in person right now
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video
I love that Dave asked "do you have them?" because yes, in fact, you do. I giggled like an idiot.
And I wept like an idiot afterwards (see video notes). Worse than floss.
I knew what you meant. I'm sure he did too.
Still, it probably would have been wise to have not worn my "I sell Late Nights" t-shirt.
If he does Norm's podcast that would really be something.

Thank you.
Who was the guy who asked if wanted to purchase the old late night shows?
brewer921 See the description under the video.
I am assumed he (you) were trying to sell them to him.

You have them? Who's this guy? Do we know him? Thanks Donz.
My former boss... still got it
Wouldn't Dave have to purchase his Late Night shows from NBC? Are they interested in selling them to him?
ranlive1 Thar's what I asked him, or meant to. See my description under the video. I was informed later that he understood what I was asking.
