So sorry to hear you've been ill. I hope you're much better now. You're videos are the best and most informative I've seen on here. Thank you so much. 😊
Nice video, Bill. I learned a lot from going to expat bars. Job vacancies, visa agents, where to find things, etc. There are some real idiots on the Facebook and Reddit pages, so I only use them as a last resort.
I am 46 size for pants can I get that size in seim reap.?? Or I have to buy the fabric get a professional tailor?? I like your video very informative like Dave 👍
Thank you! If it's 46-inch waist, it would be tough to find that except perhaps in Phnom Penh, though I don't know of any specific places. This FB group may also be able to help and may even know of places in SR: facebook.com/groups/804316789957809 I hope this helps!
Hello!! Great video, as always. I have a question! What is the best option for me when i don’t know where i want to end my 30day trip to Cambodia. Because they ask you for a ticket with the day of leaving within those days!
Hi There! I'm not sure who you mean, but generally you won't be asked for onward travel when arriving in Cambodia. The only people who might request that (and it's rare) is an airline. To be safe, you can always buy a cheap bus ticket to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City any other town outside of Cambodia and just not use it. It would probably be about $25 spent, but it would be peace of mind. This is a decent site for it: camboticket.com/
@@cambodiyeah1 Do you maybe also know if this is just possible with all other countries like Thailand, indonesia, Laos and Vietnam? And one more question, I was sure that I just need a visa for 30 days, yet sometimes I hear people say that this is not so! Do you know?
@@TMDBlackborre Visas certainly differ by country and you'd have to look up the visa requirements for each one. For proof of onward travel, any kind of ticket to anywhere outside of that country is all it takes, no matter the country.
I like your stuff Bill. -- Others often suggest Vietnam as being 'cheaper' than Cambodia. But they aren't considering costs of the visa runs every 90 days ? At the end of the year those expenses need to added or averaged in the monthly average ! Cambodia - you never have to leave the country if you don't want to ? (as you well know) - - - I WONDER - if - a local Khmer gal can be hired a day per week to shop cook some and perhaps clean a bit - and how much that would cost ? -- In the Philippines that can be had for about 600 pesos - or $10.64 USD for an 8 hour day. -- Around $50/mo. - and that can provide meals for a few days as well. My desired frugal studio would be easy ! I would eat out the rest or have food delivered some. -?- Some - "helpers" in the Philippines also pay bills & stand in lines to do so - drop off & pick up laundry....? Whatever might be needed. -- Any idea for Siem Reap ? -- Appreciate what you do here - and I read the comments.
I'm afraid I wouldn't know anything about hiring people for shopping and the like. I know some apartments include regular apartment cleaning, but that's about it.

I'm glad to help!
Duuuude, you gotta get there soon, or you're going to have to change the name of your profile!! Love your vids either way.
Haha! Believe me, I can't wait! I really didn't like having to postpone. But I'll certainly be there in May.

@@cambodiyeah1 Thank you so much. Yes i am going by plane so i think i won't take a risk there. So a bus ticket is enough?
@@TMDBlackborre Yup! If anyone were to ask for an onward destination, any kind of transportation ticket would work. Bus, train, plane, doesn't matter.
