Asking for her to be released so that she can see her kids again is beyond repugnant. Hannah's family will never see her again, so Hannah's murderer certainly shouldn't have that privilege. I hope she serves life and never gets paroled, although I understand that's unlikely.

@@alidadebruyn3560 I'm entitled to believe whatever I want and you are too. He forgot to mention to law enforcement that his mysterious friend Chris slept over the night before Hannah was taken to the hospital. I think you might remember to bring that up. And he "thought" he bought milk on the way home from dropping mysterious Chris off at home because mysterious Chris doesn't drive and there was no milk in the house. I don't know what happened. Don’t throw Lindsays life away? How about the life she took?!! She did do it. Was out of character? Probably, but it happens way too much in this country when someone not equipped to deal with situations snaps. It still doesn’t absolve her of the responsibility of taking a life of an innocent. I’ve read some comments that said she’s innocent. She’s not and like others in her situation, she has to pay.

I don't think I could stand in a court room and ask for leniency for a single member of my family if they admitted to killing a child. There is never an excuse for that. And anyone who does that deserves what they get. Even my family now, I admit their faults and don't make excuses for them, as I do my own faults. Making excuses or allowances for someone's bad choices doesn't help them. It just makes them think less of the bad and not try as hard next time.

This poor baby was born to a mother that didn’t want her. A father that tried to raise her with help from his brother and sister-in-law. The brother and Jason’s impact statement was truly heartbreaking. I do feel for the bio mom but it’s a little too late for Hannah. If she would have had a fighting chance in life to have two parents that loved her she may be alive today. Lindsey must have attacked her the minute Jason left. She punched her under the chin and Hannah hit the floor? I wonder what her children saw? Now they don’t have a mother. I wanted to believe her. She took the witness stand and sealed her own fate. It didn’t matter the police interrogations spoke for Hannah. It does sound like she chose to attack Hannah the day before as well. My heart is with Jason. I pray you find closure and love your other two girls in memory of his daughter. Life is too short. But twenty years for Lindsey is an eternity in prison. She may never be paroled so I’m going to say she will spend the rest of her life in prison thinking of her actions that day. She took a life and for what? Because she didn’t want to watch her anymore? She should have spoke up. A hundred dollars a week extra income ?! Parents your child is worth more than this. Leave them with family or pay a reputable agency to watch your children. RIP Sweet Hannah ✝️💟☮️

I didn't like how she cried while listening to her friends but was completely dry eyed when the mother spoke. Whether she did it or not, that was heartbreaking to hear.

Rachel Lewis the mother obviously has her own issues being that she had no custody of Hannah and was not in her life. I felt no sympathy for her when she spoke either. She could be a drug addict or something else so why would anyone shed a tear over what that mother
said. I always thought Lindsay could be innocent and I blame her attorneys for not
coaching her well on what NOT to say. Spanking or hitting
a child was once the norm but now you go to jail for it! I guess my parents should be in jail. Let’s stop judging people especially since we don’t know all that’s really going on. Based on what I saw today, this is clearly a split down the middle on who believes of Lindsay is guilty or innocent.

Either way it still rubbed me the wrong way that she didn't shed one tear while anyone was speaking about the loss of a child but she was bawling when people said how wonderful she was. Even if the babies mother wasn't an active role and even if she didn't hurt the little girl, not saying she did or didn't, she should show sympathy for the death of a child, especially since she knew and took care of her. Doesn't bode well for her protests of innocence, that's for sure.

I did not know the mother really didn't have much of a relationship with her daughter when I wrote my original comment, however if I was Lindsay listening to the childs relatives speak about their loss, whether I killed the child or not, I most definitely would've cried for the loss of this little girl that I had cared for and watched for 12 hours a day for a year.

I watched this video before knowing much about this case including that the girls mother was not in her life at the time of the murder yet the first thing i noticed when she read her victim impact statement was that I never saw one actual tear even when she appeared to stop for a moment several times to sob. NOT ONE ACTUAL TEAR so i wasn't surprised when it came out before the end of video that she was a deadbeat mom. It takes ALOT of nerve to even show up much less give a "victim" statement when everybody in the room knows that her daughter was already dead to her long before she actually died.....not to mention the fact that if she had been an effin "mother" then her daughter would have never been with the babysitter who killed her in the first place....so she SHOULD feel VERY guilty although I'm sure she doesn't because she couldn't even manage a tear for a dead daughter...

@Candi Lease I’m curious about your opinion on this case. Do you know that Hannah’s mother had contact with her before she died? I was under the impression from what I’ve seen that the bio mother had not had contact with the child for a long time, due to either being high or in rehab. I definitely don’t think that the mother would have been above hurting Hannah but I just don’t think she was around to do it. I don’t know anything other than what I’ve watched on videos about this case, but the father, Jason, does not seem like he would beat his child. Maybe be overwhelmed and unobservant but he has 2 other daughters that speak highly of him and it doesn’t seem likely that he would go to all the trouble of getting custody of her to then mistreat her.
I will admit it is a very disturbing case. And I’m thankful to not have been on the jury for this one.
So sad a child is dead and 2 others little girls are without their mother.
