I absolutely love the way that you explain each topic on a way that dosent overwhelm the viewer. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and the time you put into your videos.
I'm getting into modular soon once I get enough cash to afford a basic setup and I'm soooooooo excited!! Your tips and suggestions from your modular vids will probably come in handy. Thanks!!
Check out synthesizers.com They have a monthly plan for an entry-level system (synthesizers.com/system-entry2.html) and some basic setups, as well as individual modules.
I love these videos! I love learning new stuff from you! I’m only 12 but I have been playing music since I was 2 and I am a growing producer. You have truly inspired me and it would be awesome to win this stuff.
Very cool stuff. I love that you explained every step in this micro-jam sesh, seeing the logic behind everything and witnessing the evolution of the sound throughout the video was nothing short of beautiful (:
Amazing videos, really getting into what you are doing. What are the modules you have across the top of your rack? Just in case I have not found it yet, do you have a video on a recommended basic setup to get someone going with room for expansion? Happy New Year :D
This way of creating music is amazing! I am definitely a beginner and something like this would really help me pave my path in music! I hope everyone gets a fair chance at getting one of these!!!
Disagree with the packaging. I mean it’s nice to have it, but provided the item gets to me in one piece I’d much prefer basic, recyclable packaging any day.
Ö _ All the cheap packages that I get end up in the recycling bin. Good packaging like in the video gets reused in my house or shop to store important things. I think the instant re-usability is better than recycling. But that's just my opinion.
was going to say exactly this. Tube packaging like in this video are great for camera lenses, or if they're a bit bigger a little extra protection for a condenser mic and bag.
Hello I am happy to discover this module from Akemie's. Thank you Andrew. The past year i bought the wonderful Akemie's Castle. This is a complex oscillator for playing with FM using four operators. Many parameters and connectors. Anyway, it may be necessary to know the theoretical basis of the FM synthesis to use it deeply. Yes, the Akemie's Castle is a bit expensive : around 700 $, but you will never boring while using it. Pass it through strange filters or transformation modules. I see the Make Noise module Maths on the video. Some peoples asked to me why i did't bought one. Because it was toward my financial possibilities after i purchased all to built my modular. Maybe soon for the Maths, a very versatile and surprising module. NEKO
Sending you a 4 year late heart for this. ❤️
A wild Cuckoo appeared!
You’ve been blessing us with these long videos lately
You're my inspiration! About to complete my first album, and if I hadn't discovered you last year, it wouldn't exist! Thanks for being awesome.
Sam Mackinze can you link me to it when you're done? I'd love to hear it
I agree
Also agree! please comment the link it to me and the others when you are done, I'd love to hear the work of a fellow Andrew Huang fan musician!
Definitely! I've got a few more touches to make, but when its ready, I'll post it!😁😁 thanks for the kind words you guys
I really enjoyed you talking though how you patch. Not a lot of eurorack guys do that.
This makes the Monday worth it
Yessss love a good Andrew Huang notification!!
Yes a SCRATCH PATCH! I’m so happy! 😊
In absolute awe of how that reverb totally changes the game at 12:28
that beat turned out really cool
I appreciate how he talks about the clean packaging. I like when design is noticed even in mundane things like cardboard boxes.
You’ve become my favorite artist of all time dude! Your music is awesome! Thank you bro!
ANDREW HUANG ❤️
I absolutely love the way that you explain each topic on a way that dosent overwhelm the viewer. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and the time you put into your videos.
You’re eurorack is awesome! The second channel is a awesome haven of modular dopeness!
Just sooooo satisfying to see you play with synthesizers🙃👌🎵
ANDREW HUANG
THANK YOU
Andrew is the only human I know of that can explain modular and make it entertaining.
Try Mylar Melodies too. An excellent, frequently flippant, attitude…
These are so good
Nice job dude, i think it's incredible how you love music so much.
I love your channel.
Love your music dude, keep it up!

Ace video as usual! Really good to see an easy to follow modular 'how to' vid and it sounds brilliant as well! Top stuff ;-))
oh i only know photosynthesis
actually it`s possible to create synth sounds from photos (the harmor synth by image line is capable of doing that ) XD
@@lighthill030 Awww HECK YEAHHHH.
@@lighthill030 photo synthesis ≠ photosynthesis
Thank you so much Andrew Huang for these amazingly clear and inspiring videos! Cheers !
Your videos have inspired me to start messing with modular. You're one of my favorite artists.
2 seconds in and I'm already starting to feel jealous of your modular rig
I don't undertand a word you're saying but cool
So check out his video on FM, it is really well done and explained
Beware EvaBear same
if they dont understand any of this they probably dont know what fm is lol
Cuz you’re a dorky kook
🖕🏽😆🖕🏽FOH

out of this world
Very cool stuff. I love that you explained every step in this micro-jam sesh, seeing the logic behind everything and witnessing the evolution of the sound throughout the video was nothing short of beautiful (:
Loved the sound and would like one!!
WOW! I am getting so in love with modular synthesizers! thank you for teaching me and other people to explore on this little machines!
The water drop sounds you made at the beginning sounds like it would be a perfect sound effect for a 16 bit game.
The fm chip used in this module is also used in some of the old soundblaster cards
It’s so impressive how you learned how to use that thing, then again you never fail to impress me. Keep up the good work!
Perhaps unusually, it is the Basimilus Iteritas Alter which I notice most from this demo.
Amazing sounds can be born through these beautiful pieces of equipment.
I’d love to watch a livestream of Andrew making patches!
me likey
"this video's getting on the long side" I would watch for another hour
He has a second channel with just that
You forgot to put a screw on the top right corner of the akemie's taiko.
And now you can never un-see it :)
I don’t even use stuff like this. I just like listening to the cool sounds :)
Rominimal
I went from listening to the cool sounds to oh my god I have 2 modular cases where did my money go
Did you say happy accidents?
*Bob Ross intensifies*

Happy New Year :D
Those five in the top row are all Intellijel modules: Audio I/O 1U, Noise Tools 1U, Digiverb 1U, Buff Mult 1U and µMIDI 1U.
MAN I love your videos. For real.
Oh Man, the beat at 12:55 is great. Did you make a full length tune with this patch?
So this is what elon's car is probably playing in space rn. Dope
Sp ace Beats :D
Very punny...
Awesome video! I love analog synth and modular synthesis is something that has fascinated me for years but I’m only beginning to understand.
I've always wondered how analogue synthesis might feel when playing
More rack improv and talk throughs please
Andrew💜❤💙❤❤
such a clear explanation ! No wonder this guy is successful at UA-cam ! BTW that patch is insane
Also, I'd love to see videos of you just tweaking and creating. It's great!
another analog synth video
*tries to understand*
Akemie's Taiko is digital
Joseph Jankowski he probably means modular synth
most of these are digital
@@giorgioskb And just because something is software doesn't automatically make it digital-- wait... Yes. Yes it does.
@@mikeexits just some of the good software synths SOUND like an analog synth
I only use demo Fl Studio

Instructions not clear,my synth making weird sound like " all hail megatron, we'll take over earth". Please help!
I'm like this is cool, but what did I just watch… :D
What?
10:56 Windows error sound
I love how creative you are with all your music
"I'm just going to tweak Akemie's knobs" sounds like hentai
Omg haha
Haha the rythm of the explanation goes as fast as the beat's
EARLY AS CRAP
Awesome, every help u give is appreciated
are... are you a god?

A condenser mic is a great idea, I'll have to remember that. I use the tubes for light bulbs, pencils/pens, and short cables.
The sound it's just awesome
