Sending you a 4 year late heart for this. ❤️
A wild Cuckoo appeared!
You're my inspiration! About to complete my first album, and if I hadn't discovered you last year, it wouldn't exist! Thanks for being awesome.
Sam Mackinze can you link me to it when you're done? I'd love to hear it
I agree
Also agree! please comment the link it to me and the others when you are done, I'd love to hear the work of a fellow Andrew Huang fan musician!
Definitely! I've got a few more touches to make, but when its ready, I'll post it!😁😁 thanks for the kind words you guys
oh i only know photosynthesis
actually it`s possible to create synth sounds from photos (the harmor synth by image line is capable of doing that ) XD
@@Peat030 Awww HECK YEAHHHH.
@@Peat030 photo synthesis ≠ photosynthesis
you should just upload an hour of just you jamming on this
Check out his second channel. It has heaps of vids like that
@@joshuaprentice7737 Had no idea, thanks
This makes the Monday worth it
You’ve been blessing us with these long videos lately
In absolute awe of how that reverb totally changes the game at 12:28
I really enjoyed you talking though how you patch. Not a lot of eurorack guys do that.
Yes a SCRATCH PATCH! I’m so happy! 😊
that beat turned out really cool
I appreciate how he talks about the clean packaging. I like when design is noticed even in mundane things like cardboard boxes.
Did you say happy accidents?
*Bob Ross intensifies*
I don't undertand a word you're saying but cool
So check out his video on FM, it is really well done and explained
Beware EvaBear same
if they dont understand any of this they probably dont know what fm is lol
Cuz you’re a dorky kook
🖕🏽😆🖕🏽FOH
Yessss love a good Andrew Huang notification!!
Loved the sound and would like one!!
The water drop sounds you made at the beginning sounds like it would be a perfect sound effect for a 16 bit game.
The fm chip used in this module is also used in some of the old soundblaster cards
You’re eurorack is awesome! The second channel is a awesome haven of modular dopeness!
I'm getting into modular soon once I get enough cash to afford a basic setup and I'm soooooooo excited!! Your tips and suggestions from your modular vids will probably come in handy. Thanks!!
Check out synthesizers.com
They have a monthly plan for an entry-level system (synthesizers.com/system-entry2.html) and some basic setups, as well as individual modules.
Andrew is the only human I know of that can explain modular and make it entertaining.
Try Mylar Melodies too. An excellent, frequently flippant, attitude…
"this video's getting on the long side" I would watch for another hour
He has a second channel with just that
You forgot to put a screw on the top right corner of the akemie's taiko.
And now you can never un-see it :)
You’ve become my favorite artist of all time dude! Your music is awesome! Thank you bro!
ANDREW HUANG ❤️
Perhaps unusually, it is the Basimilus Iteritas Alter which I notice most from this demo.
Ace video as usual! Really good to see an easy to follow modular 'how to' vid and it sounds brilliant as well! Top stuff ;-))
Just sooooo satisfying to see you play with synthesizers🙃👌🎵
ANDREW HUANG
THANK YOU
Love your music dude, keep it up!
Amazing videos, really getting into what you are doing. What are the modules you have across the top of your rack?
Just in case I have not found it yet, do you have a video on a recommended basic setup to get someone going with room for expansion?
Happy New Year :D
Those five in the top row are all Intellijel modules: Audio I/O 1U, Noise Tools 1U, Digiverb 1U, Buff Mult 1U and µMIDI 1U.
Oh Man, the beat at 12:55 is great. Did you make a full length tune with this patch?
So this is what elon's car is probably playing in space rn. Dope
2 seconds in and I'm already starting to feel jealous of your modular rig
I don’t even use stuff like this. I just like listening to the cool sounds :)
Rominimal
I went from listening to the cool sounds to oh my god I have 2 modular cases where did my money go
I'm really starting to understand how these things work now i always thought they'd be too hard for me to get but this is explained really well
I love your channel.
That’s pretty
out of this world
I absolutely love the way that you explain each topic on a way that dosent overwhelm the viewer. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and the time you put into your videos.
Yet another video viewed to decide between two modules that just made me want both. (Akemie's and basimilus)
Staaaahhp
I've always wondered how analogue synthesis might feel when playing
I’d love to watch a livestream of Andrew making patches!
me likey
Nice. I find that I do some really cool stuff when showing someone my gear real quick.
That beat is phenomenal.
Very cool stuff. I love that you explained every step in this micro-jam sesh, seeing the logic behind everything and witnessing the evolution of the sound throughout the video was nothing short of beautiful (:
Sp ace Beats :D
Very punny...
I'd do love to further my music with modules, they're so interesting and I love the physical aspect to music so much more than digital
This way of creating music is amazing! I am definitely a beginner and something like this would really help me pave my path in music! I hope everyone gets a fair chance at getting one of these!!!
It’s so impressive how you learned how to use that thing, then again you never fail to impress me. Keep up the good work!
Instructions not clear,my synth making weird sound like " all hail megatron, we'll take over earth". Please help!
Ever since I found out about modular from Klayton, I've been wanting to play, but buying equipment is a lot of money I don't have. I enjoy watching your modular videos and when I have the chance to get my own setup, I plan on taking your tips and tricks with me
This gives me so many ideas on how music can create a scene, I have so many ideas flowing in my mind right now!!!
"I'm just going to tweak Akemie's knobs" sounds like hentai
Omg haha
Nice job dude, i think it's incredible how you love music so much.
I've always wanted to get into modular. I didn't realize there was still so much progress and so many new products in this market!
Noises are some things I love!
The only reason to get on my phone: Andrew Huang
More rack improv and talk throughs please
What a blessing you are to this world, Andrew. Your wisdom, knowledge, personality and music bring joy to us all; I take my hat off to you, my good sir! Keep up the great work and stay amazing!😄
I love this stuff! Just got a minilogue which is pretty exciting :)
damn now I want an akemie's taiko
I'm like this is cool, but what did I just watch… :D
What?
Really loving the sound of these. It would be a great addition to anyone’s studio! I really love your channel and win or lose, I’d love to collaborate with you on a few records. :)
These look so complicated but id love to get my hands on one of them and just mess around
Thank you so much Andrew Huang for these amazingly clear and inspiring videos! Cheers !
Andrew💜❤💙❤❤
I love Andrew's videos and talent- and I learn something new every time I watch him
So much terms I need to learn
Haha the rythm of the explanation goes as fast as the beat's
I only use demo Fl Studio
WOOOOOOOOOO!
Man i really want to get some of these.
10:56 Windows error sound
are... are you a god?

Hustle Wilson if you’re talking about me; then YES.
Awesome !
Man I wish I had something like these awesome
Disagree with the packaging. I mean it’s nice to have it, but provided the item gets to me in one piece I’d much prefer basic, recyclable packaging any day.
Ö _ All the cheap packages that I get end up in the recycling bin. Good packaging like in the video gets reused in my house or shop to store important things. I think the instant re-usability is better than recycling. But that's just my opinion.
was going to say exactly this. Tube packaging like in this video are great for camera lenses, or if they're a bit bigger a little extra protection for a condenser mic and bag.
A condenser mic is a great idea, I'll have to remember that. I use the tubes for light bulbs, pencils/pens, and short cables.
EARLY AS CRAP
Air high five for the “here it’s everything but the kick and snare” patch. Those clicky sounds .. they’re thru some fat reverb .. clouds ? Anyway I loved that patch
Now re-patch this using the Instruo/DivKid Ochd module. Can’t wait to pick up an AT to go with mine!
Also, I'd love to see videos of you just tweaking and creating. It's great!
First
Nice one. Guude job.
You are first
I'm a legally Blind producer this guy inspires the craft to me to make original sounds
Brilliant! You should make a video of you performing like a 3 min version of that last beat. Its dope!
I love an play actual taiko so this would be trip to start throwing these into the modular side of music
another analog synth video
*tries to understand*
Akemie's Taiko is digital
Joseph Jankowski he probably means modular synth
most of these are digital
@@giorgioskb And just because something is software doesn't automatically make it digital-- wait... Yes. Yes it does.
@@mikeexits just some of the good software synths SOUND like an analog synth
I want one!!!
such a clear explanation ! No wonder this guy is successful at UA-cam ! BTW that patch is insane
This are soooooooo tight!!! 💜💜
fantastic!!!!!
I need this
Gotta say my dream is having a modular rack like andrews, would be amazing even just having a go of that thing
i rly wanna get into modular synthesizers. akemie’s taiko looks dope
Always wanted to get started in modular synths.
Nice one :D
You should so do another video like the last half. That was so much fun to watch!
Dude! I would defintly love to try and make some weird stuff with theese!!!
Amazing sounds can be born through these beautiful pieces of equipment.
Modular seems like such an interesting concept, I figure at some point I'll build myself my own setup
Really want thiss
Thanks so much for making these videos! Modular synthesis has always seemed really complex and sort of intimidating, but these videos are super helpful.
what a great module.
Woohooo. This fear would be awesome so I can make more beats and songs for my band!
