Playing devil's advocate, Warren exists, his magic is perfect to spread information, plus, I think he was being rushed to finish the manga, so, timeline got screwed in the process

Im sure they could also pull some shit like Warren spread the information, and because “everyones hearts were one” in the intent to save the world from Acno, Meldy was able to link everyone over a distance
and he's not even the only one who can use that type of magic, he's just the best one at it, so yeah, it makes plenty of sense

I think you have no memories about any character here. Meldy doesn't have to be near or touch any person to link her magic power. Only sense it. She already did it with Gray and with Jellal and wasnt necesarry be next to them. Sorry guy but you forget everything in every episode.

Also gotta remember, she's only 13yo at this moment in time. In the future when she 18 or 19 like Natsu is now, I'd wouldn't be surprised if she's a hella lot more powerful than he is currently and that's saying something. Her being on the level of Irene in the distance Future I can total see. I still stand by that Irene is the most Powerful Female Character in the Fairy Tail Story and that's a very scary thought on Wendy's part.

She even do the same thing were she casually enchants everyone’s magic and pass it on to Natsu. Enchantment is too broken TBH! 🥴

You know that 7 dragon slayers face a spirit, and the continent fights the body of a walking dragon, whose instinct is dragon and destruction, and because of the seal And the dragon slayer's weak point , the link between the body and the spirit was severed, so he lost his strength, and Natsu defeated him by increasing the burning of his fire.

I believe with Warren and Mest, Meldy could absolutely have linked everyone. It's just a cool "Spirit bomb" moment where everyone from the show helps the heroes win, so i dont overthink it too much.

The whole ending party is one of my favorite parts of Fairy Tail. To be honest, it introduced me to anime, so it got a special place, you know?
Of course, Acnologia’s defeat was weird. But that doesn’t take away from the full 328 episodes of fun we got to see weekly.

One correction it wasn't the world's magic power. It was the continents which kinda make sense why Meldy was able to link everyone. Also Warren has the communication Lacrima so contact also make sense.
No, unless the continent is as small as an island, it doesn't make sense, she would have to get teleported to everyone by Mest. Warren's communication magic doesn't help there, seeing as she had to touch Lucy, to give her the Link, i'm pretty sure she also had to touch everyone else.
It's just a plothole, and there's a lot of them in this show, just don't try to prove it. Show's pretty good despite the holes.

For Meledys magic link she was able to use juvia to link with gray who was across the island in there fight easily even tho he wasn’t with her, and this is 8 years later of her even stronger so her magics range could be reasonably enlarged
As Neel said , Acnologia should have his own arc , and make the mc loose and go through some training arc , this shit we have seen in almost every shonen anime so I won't complain about the ending

Eating the time rift was the biggest mistake he made. it made his powers go berserk and don't forget he is still a dragon so the dragon slayer magic still does damage. And people underestimate Natsu's power to do the impossible.

Ok, Hear me out
At first I hated this ending as well. And I still think it could've been done way better. I especially mean the way they defeated Acnologia. The author made him too OP, but I believe there were better ways to defeat him, for example leaving him in time's rift and making Ichita the hero. But of course author wanted Natsu to be the one to defeat Acnologia and it's undestandable. But it was too rushed.
But...After rewatching this series like 100 times I can see that the way Acnologia was defeated wasn't that unlogical(I still would done it differently).
First step to defeat Acnologia was putting him in time's rift. It made him more powerful, but at the same time it made him weaker. What do I mean? He got way more magic power, but he became unstable and couldn't control it. He needed to split himself into two parts like Anna said. I want to believe that proccess also splited his powers. According to this theory his Soul-part became 2 times weaker and his Body-part became 2 times weaker than original.
Even then I believe Acnologia shouldn't be defeated but...The key was synchro. I don't believe that Fairy Sphere would last long, I think Acnologia would break it anyway, even with the power of the whole continent. So the key was for Natsu to deliever final blow at the time Acnologia's body was inprisoned in Fairy Sphere. We have to remember he was on the ship what made him weaker. This, and being trapped in Fairy Sphere probably had a big influence on his Soul-part. That made him vulnerable at that moment.
Like I said before, I'd still make it different way, but the way it was made, makes sense as well.
Remember meldy can link you to the person you think dearly and that’s how her link reaches everyone she doesn’t need to go and meet the person she only needs some certain person it doesn’t shown in the show but maybe meldy had gotten a lot stronger that she can link 50 person simultaneously using 1 person😊

They did watch that arc tho, they only skipped the celestial spirits arc and a couple of other standalone fillers

something you may not remember, but meldy can link via shared emotions, and EVERYONE wants natsu and the other dragon slayers alive, there are very few genuinely evil magic users left in fairytail at this point, and im sure everyone wants achnologia to use, that is the very reason meldy was able to link everyone on the planet in a mere second
power scaling can explain why they won, FIRSTLY wendy's enchantment gathered 7 differant dragon slayers magics together into one being ,and remember, all the other 6 SHOULD also have dragon king modes that they havent used, and it could be said that the power of those temporary modes were transfered to natsu.
secondly, there are other being on the same tier as achnologia, being the 5 dragon gods, the white wizard, and the celestial spirit king, im not saying all of these guys are any where near as strong, just that they are on the same tier of power, being Large planetary, and all of these people also secretly participated in Meldy's link
the shared weakness of motion sickness also hit achnologia's soul at the last second, which is what allowed natsu to land a hit. none of this was power of friendship, it was planning and timing done corectly, though i agree with the many on saying that even if it only ended with one punch, it should have been more of a spectacle

First time I comment on the channel hahaha I love your reactions, in fact, I now come to defend Meredy, her magic doesn't need her to have traveled the entire continent, as incredible as it may seem, she can connect everyone with her bonds, connecting emotions too... in other words, everyone that Lucy and the people at Fairy Tail have ever met were connected at that moment. (they receive emotions like that and understand their mission at that moment...) having said that lol that's what I thought, but as Meredy had been missing for a long time, she could have known everyone on the continent... (another addendum, Meredy can connect people by other people's memories, just like she did by connecting with Gray through Juvia in the Tenrou Island arc heheh) ❤❤❤
I started fairy tail and rewatched a couple times, I personally have an enjoyment of 10/10 because it was always fun, funny, relatable, and emotional scenes. Overall I'd give it a 7/10, I can acknowledge it's shortcomings when it comes to story but as a watcher for adventure it truly was amazing personally.
Best character development in series is Lucy heartfilia 💛 from a weak unconfident shy blonde girl who was controlled by her Dad to the to the strongest celestial spirit mage and she's the One who technically defeated and saved the world of magic From the strongest villain in the Story
and the second one who used the strongest spell in the history of the Fairy Tail guild
Saved there lives in tartaros
The one who separated end from Natsu
also The one who closed the gate of the eclipse projet
and comparing her to nami, rukia, robin, Sakura and Inoue 😂😂😂😂😂
The way Acnologia was handled was pretty bad, but all things considered, this show truly is something special. I have never loved a cast of characters so much, everthing about them just clicks for me and that is why this is my favourite show of all time. Admittedly it is a 7/10 if you are generous but the ost and every ounce of love oozing from every part of Fairy tail makes it a masterpiece in my eyes. Hope you enjoyed it as much as i did much love
Yeah i love the OST, i love the atmosphere of this show, i love the jokes, i love the characters (which are actually completely designed, compared to nowadays copy-paste characters, made from the same Archetypes).
Ngl. if the author fixed some plotholes, and decided to go for a bit serious approach, like making the fights look serious, killing some of the characters, which should die f.e.: Makarov (i'm pretty sure Makarov's death would be a big moment, just as Jiraiya's death), the show could easily be a 9+/10.
But a rating 6.5-7 is completely fine i think.

@Paroseni. For me it is also a 10/10 but most people prefer a more objective look at things. If I am being honest I prefer FT to One Piece or Naruto
@@MartinvNestorov Same. I love Naruto's sadness and emotions, there are some hype moments that give chills etc. but other than that, it's just a depressing anime. And some may say FT is giga plothole, but there's so many plotholes in Naruto too (if you start analyzing the story & power system deeper).
One Piece is totally not my kind of anime, especially the art style. Unappealing.

A fan teory that Lucy is the narator and she depicts herself as a slim woman, but who knows the reality :)
I actually liked the ending. Natsu was able to go toe to toe with Zeraf showing his strength. And when you combine that with the power of all the dragon slayers (who we saw able to defeat some of the Sprigan 12) that adds quite alot of power. Plus remember it’s all Dragon Slayer Power, and at this point Achnologia is more dragon than human, adding to the power.
But Acnologia was a. the arcane dragon slayer, who could eat all magic and could technically not even be harmed by any magic. b. was so strong that even pre-timerift even zeref was not sure he could defeat him with fairy heart. c. he had absorbed the time rift.
But to be fair to the writer, Acnologia had to go somehow, but was technically so strong that it most likely was impossible to beat him. Since his only real weakness would have been pure physical attacks on the scale of true dragons. So while I don't really like it, I can't think of any better way and Fairy Tail wasn't known for following in universe rules anyways.
Fairy Tail is more about emotions and fun, than about telling well written storys, which isn't a bad thing, since it is still worth watching. Just like medical dramas, that are fun to watch, if you like the drame, but a pain, if you have any interest in medical stuff.
Please watch Edens Zero. It has the same author as Fairy Tail. There are many references to Fairy Tail. I agree with Fax, the ending was disappointing. But even despite this, this anime never ceases to be my favorite). Sorry if I made any mistakes. I just don’t know English well (I’m from Russia, not really Russia, but Kyrgyzstan, I’m watching you with subtitles in Russian, but without subtitles I’m trying to understand you). I'm really looking forward to your reactions to the Fairy Tail 100 quest. I love your reactions. Please watch at least a couple of episodes of Edens Zero. If you like it, then that's good. Here Russians never react to anime like Fairy Tail. They think it won't get views. Therefore, you have to watch the reaction of foreigners.

if you look closely you'll notice him being very displeased in every frame of laxus with different girls when lucy was wondering about the girl rumours 😭
Freed is so extremely obviously implied to be gay (had to fake being flustered by women during tenrou,that one extra chapter with the blue Pegasus naked photoshoot magazine where he's seen specifically looking at the trimen,with a laxus poster in the background) that it still baffles me to this day how people still manage dot think hed ever be remotely into a woman
That fight was rushed as hell, but the reason the flashback of igneel taking his arm was because he couldn’t move from the position he was in meaning he couldn’t block with his right. That’s why the only way to block was with the leg, but that was the arm igneel took of. I think they wanted to portray that even if igneel died, he still helped in the final battle
I have two recommendations one is obviously as everyone is suggesting edens zeros and the other one is bungo stray dogs. Edens zero so far has only 2 season out so it isnt as long and moreover the manga will probably come to an end in like 4 chapters. And BSD has 5 seasons out with manga still ongoing. All the seasons are like 11 12 episodes. The characters are named after died literary authors and are based on their works. The characters have special abilities that are also based on their works. Its a fun show
100 year comes out in June or July hopefully they’ll watch it

Actually the answer as to why acnologia looses is explained on tenrou arc as well. Alt of people have missed this little detail, also zeref defeats is in tenrou as well

looking back the start of the show was a lot better than the end like the tower of heaven arc was amazing but overall its a feel good show

Meldy doesn't have to link directly with someone, if you remember back when she was introduced she directly linked with Juvia but indirectly with Gray. Still, linking the whole ass continent is something aight

I would say, the only arc that was not very good was the final arc, and the filler arc that was made specifically for the anime. But the only other thing that did make the anime not as good in later seasons in comparisons to earlier ones is the change in studios. When A-1 Pictures was in control of animation, the fights were far better than they are now. I just hope 100 year quests animation studio does justice.

I agree the show was rushed a lot in the final arc. It would have been great if they added certain details outside of the manga like anime original like Bleach TYBW (for example Shinji's bankai).
I personally enjoyed the characters and their interactions. Even though the plot wasn't that big I still like how the arcs were connected due to Zeref and Jellal. The final arc premise was good but the execution could have been better especially a separate arc for Acnologia would have been good.
I would rate this anime in terms of characters and enjoyment - 9.2. Plot wise - 7 (could have been 8 or even more if the last arc wasn't rushed and better explained)

Its just the end of the buu saga in dbz. I dont recall people having too big a stink about that ending so I roll with it. It's kind of fitting for Acnalogia to realize what he did as his soul faded. He used to he a good person himself.

Fairy sphere stops time and age and he can't move
In all honesty accnolgia should have lost to E.N.D and not natsu in my opinion because that was what he seemed to fear even if for a instant natsu should have become E.N.D and that power should have overcome accnolgia and then go on a rampage hurting his frinds and during the time in his inner world natsu faces END but has a conversation with himself or that part of himself and eventually leading to showing that even E.N.D wants to protect what natsu wants to protect this ending was definitely rushed.
So this what happen in Fairy Sphere Meldy didn't know the plan but Mest know, he help meldy to teleport in different places to link every people in the continent who cares about defeating Acnologia. So that's why she links every wizzard. So as you remember when they planning Mest is there so he knows. And when they start moving mest is gone because he help meldy to link every wizard.

I Know this fight wasn´t it but trust me 100 Years Quest is leagues better compared to Alvarez Empire though this anime version of Natsu casting the 7 Dragon Fist the studio removed his Dragon Force and they even omitted 7 DS mode Natsu charging against Acnologia before Spirit Acno got paralyzed the staff even made it even more disappointing
I don't like it when people pick on the ending because the final episode literally showed ALL the Fairy Tail characters - the villains, the good guys, all banding together for the same cause.) If the ending isn't supposed to be like this especially in Fairy Tail, that's what it should be ?)

Now that we’ve reached this point it’s kind of bitter sweet, I didn’t really have a lot of time to rewatch the entire show again but I got into watching it with you guys, Fairytail with its flaws and all will still always have a special spot for me it’s my fave anime even if there’s better animes out there there’s something special that only Fairytail has that I can’t connect with any other anime the same way, it made my childhood and even lasting friendships because of it and the sentiments it carried, Fairytail community back in the day was not like any other anime community and it’s also the best part of the anime and the guild, I really enjoyed rewatching it and seeing your reaction as people watching this for the first time, I haven’t missed a single episode since you started watching, while I like your other reactions that also happen to be content I follow, this was the main thing that made me subscribe and keep up so I’m going to miss this, it’s been a long year coming into check your Fairytail updates every other day, this might be weird but feels like I’m also going to miss out on a piece of my daily routine now so that kinda feels empty, and I’m looking forward to the movies and I know it’s kinda contradictory to want to replace the Fairytail schedule with Fairytail again, but I’d love to see you get into 100 year quests when the arc drops this July

For a new UA-cam series, I am recommending Dr. Stone. Its final season the 4th will be airing this fall. I've had fun watching and rewatching it and crying as well.

I loved how FT started...at the end its all about Natsu and power of friendship..could have been slightly better if "teamwork" actually continued till the end !! IMO...Perfect ending could have been they loosing to Acnologia and one of the characters from 100 years quest show up at the last moment causing a "divine" intervention ..just to show how much of a bigger deal they are

enjoyment rating 10 out of 10. before the ending which feels rush it was 10 out of 10 but after the ending 7 out of 10. 100 year quest so far a 10 out of 10 no doubt
I think had they omitted the Acnologia backstory, the finale would have been better. We did not need to humanize or create sympathy for Acnologia. He was a monster, a beast, who wanted to crush the world in his hands. He was the unstoppable dragon king that even Zeref was scared of, hence his desire to gain Fairy Heart and use it to destroy Acnologia and create a potential future for humanity. Acnologia had everything he needed to be the proverbial final boss. He was a stone cold killer, he did not care about anyone or anything other than asserting himself as the top guy of all wizards and dragons.
His motivation was simple and effective; he wanted to become the strongest living being in the world and dragons were revered as the strongest creatures therefore Acnologia would want them erased so that they could never challenge his power. Acnologia was going to keep destroying everyone and everything simply because he could. At least that's what I want to say, but no, he hates dragons because they destroyed his home and livlihood. Inserting a backstory with barely a handful of episodes left as poor story telling. Mashima screwed the pooch on the end of Acnologia's story.
That said, I do think Fairy Tail sits at that 6 to 7 out of 10. The destination was rushed and questionable, but the journey was phenominal. The good easily outweighs the bad and while I can never be convinced to compare this series to say One Piece, Naruto, or Bleach, it's certainly an iconic shounen.

I'd give it an 8.5 actual enjoyment.
For plot stuff, probably a 6, but If i could remake some of the stuff to make it make actual sense, and that wouldn't be so hard tbh, i could make it into a personal 8+ to make it really good.
You know how you watch a movie and see it could have went way better and you know exactly how you'd fix it? Same thing here basically, wouldn't be hard.
