It really depends on what you need. For myself, I purchased grommet dies in 10cm size & a rivet die in 9mm size. I will be adding more sizes in the future. BTW, grommets (usually for curtains, banners, bags) are the ones bigger than the eyelets (which are usually for garments). I'd start with a rivet die if you work on jeans a lot. TBH, these dies tend to be expensive, for me at least.
