Hey Clay worked at a dealer for 20 years and customer service is KEY! Sorry people don't understand that. Does not matter if it is Harbor Freight or your Tool Truck dealer that is the most important aspect of the selling. Stay Cool!

I don't care if Ms matco doesn't know the right name , she knows the difference and benefits of pinned vs pinless. She doesn't sell , she's providing the service harbor and wally refuse to.

Milwaukee warranty, can do it through their e service site and they email you a prepaid fedex shipping label too.All you have to do is drop it off at a fedex drop off place after packaging it up

I have a handful of Matco ratchets. I like them a lot. Way better than a different M tool truck brand ratchet.

Matco is not gearwrench. If you used both you know the difference in quality. Gearwrench isn't a bad tool but you get what you pay for. Take a gearwrench wrench then take a snap on or matco you'll see the name brand fits better especially gearwrenchs long ratcheting wrenches. When I started out I owed nothing but cheap tools after replacing them every month I upgraded. Warranty doesn't mean sh#t if the tool keeps breaking. If you use a tool once in a while, cheap isn't bad. If you use it constantly don't cheap out

Still anxiously waiting on my matco ratchet I ordered direct as no truck in my area. Bought it during the sale. It was back ordered, cancelled by Matco, I reordered it, and now it’s delayed in UPS…. Hopefully here Monday!!

the ratchets are made in the usa, as well as their extensions. I think both are freaking amazing!!! for as thin as they are, they can definitely take some torque on em!!!

I've just got my first Matco rachet here in the UK. 3/8" 12" long locking flex head with a Mango handle. Cost an absolute fortune to get it here. Handle is great in your hand but I still think my Snap-On's have the edge. That said the locking lever is in a great position although sharp.

As well if more reps were like her and Michael they would put snap on out of business but some of these people simply want to sell you tools because that’s how they make their money and I understand it as well once a person buys a tool from you then you should also stand behind your product that they paid their good hard money for. It’s called doing business and that’s what I like about her and Michael

Regarding that factory that keeps breaking ratchets on a machine. Has anybody suggested using a breaker bar? Warranty or not breaking a tool means without that tool until it gets replaced.

i have some of all brands but am loyal to the ones that take care of me. my dad was a Proto tool salesman for a while. most of my loyalty was cornwell he was a mac dealer and switched to cornwell if you used air tools which at the time thats the only choice there was.
C.A.Sample cornwell dealer in dothan al repaired them on the truck while you waited if you had a few minutes he finally retired at the young age of 92 he was the last in my opinion of the real tool men

I wouldn’t mind buying Matco tools… but if the Matco truck would stop at my shop which he goes by every other day I could buy them but he just keeps on going by… I’m not going to chase him down to buy tools nor am I going to chase him down to have them warranted if they break… and I won’t ever buy from snap on period they will not warranty my hammer that I bought from another snap on dealer when I worked in nc…. So I’m stuck with snap on tools that are broken because I can’t get them warranted on the crappy crap on local truck dealer! Clay have a great weekend

Hey clay, a while back you showed a plastic socket holder with 3 removable rails. Snap on rebranded it but you showed the oem version. Can you tell me what the brand is? I have a snap on version and it’s the best socket organizer I’ve ever used. The sockets twist off . Thank you sir for any info

I have Milwaukee. Snap on, Dewalt and Matco plus pretty much the entire line of Hercules (brushless from HF). Honestly for the money the Hercules is the way to go. 5 year warranty on tools. 3 years on battery. Just as strong even torque test channel put them to the test and they ran with Milwaukee

Just to let you know i have run over a streamlight with the big head on it and i have dropped one frum a scaffolds 15 foot in the air and told my matco dealer i would like them fixed and it was my fault and i would pay for the repairs he sent them into streamlight and they fixed them and didn't charge me anything it was covered by warranty big thing is be honest with your dealer and they will work with you

I think a lot of mechanics deal with tool truck because of the convenience and having gotten use too a weekly payment right from the start of there career. Also they like there dealer. I get it ,But with internet now a days pricing and the warranty of some of these companies are hard to beat. I’m not going to over pay for Milwaukee tools just because I like matco or my dealer or the convenience of warranty. I will send it back to Milwaukee on my own if it saved me a couple hundred dollars from buying it off the tool truck. Be smart with your money there are alot of good tool manufacturers that back up there warranty.

Man comparing a Matco ratchet to a gear wrench ratchet is like comparing a Hyundai to a Rolls Royce man. You get what you pay for . Sure the gear wrench are good and they do the job but you have to make a call and wait for them to send you a new one when it breaks or take it to your local service center. That’s all I can say about it and yes I love gear wrench tools and have dozens of them but you get what you pay for. Now would I pay the snap on price for a ratchet absolutely not.

I like dewalt better then Milwaukee seems to hold up better in an industrial environment better then Milwaukee but if your just working on cars and trucks it doesn’t matter. We have one machine that has 2 inch hex bolts and it’s 34 feet tall and putting off 800 degrees of heat sometimes you just need an American made dewalt to kick ass . But hey you 10 mm guys can look cool with your china made Milwaukee . Snap on and Dewalt can’t go wrong . I do think Milwaukee have a very strong engineering department that have great technology just they don’t hold up batteries fall out after a while the brushless motor burns up sooner then Dewalt they do make a little more speed but the torque is marginal at best . A dewalt tool just isn’t going to break if your using it right
