Another great video to keep in mind if I ever get around to doing our 1.9 croma, before the swirl flaps break off and fall in the engine hehe Some things I noticed and was wondering about, at 2:30 , that seems like a refurbished power steering line? Have you noticed the steering vibrate when turning the wheel stationary and idle? I got mine (159 2.4 210hp ) refurbished and now have a vibration and a slight whine from the pump, but it becomes silent when turning right, something to do with the flow of oil (brand new red Dexron 3 flushed multiple times) I believe? Do you think it's possible the power steering tank is at fault or a poorly refurbished pipe or both? Would it be worth trying a brand new tank (60€ vs 280€ for the pipe) first? Also at around 6:00 that oil seperator(?) at the bottom of the screen looks similarly dirty to mine, but mine is also covered in oil, i think one pipe has a little hole, do I need to replace the entire pipe or is it possible to somehow fix just that part? Also could the system be clogged and be the reason for a few drops of oil dripping from the turbo pipe, from the left side of the turbo? I also have some oil consumption, not sure how much, but it has dropped by 1-2 bars on the dash in 2kkm since I've had the car. The turbo also sounds like a siren, apparently common for the garret turbos, either from bad oil or clogged oil pipe or possible something to do with the oil seperator/breather system?
Hello. True oil separation system has no way to clog, it is a open system. The hard hoses are the reason of most of the leaks. For the power steering line repair, I do not recommend it. It will vibrate and do other problems. I only recommend a new line. With our without a new reservoir. For the reservoir and the fluid replacement I will do a tutorial video
