Than you for sharing this film, I must say what an improvement from the last time I around Stourbridge 10 years ago. Now living in Wales I still miss my home town.

Funny I now live in Wales and was about to post similar, except I don't miss Stourbridge and not sure why it looks any better than 10 years ago.

@@dardobartoli It isn't any better than ten years ago to be honest. Just like the rest of the country. And the world, probably.

The black country's most posh town on the edge of the countryside. Improved over the last decade while many have got worse.

Strangely I now live on the Welsh border but grew up in Stourbridge. I escaped about 20 years ago before that huge Tesco arrived. Recognised everything apart from most of the shops.

Wow I remember the rye market and boots is still there. At the bottom of the high street under the ring road used be the moorings pub when I had 2 pints of beer on my YTS scheme in 1987 and I was pissed😂
Came back to foster street - Bordeaux house on the corner if I remember rightly there was an accountant above the West Bromwich Building Society. 9 bus used to terminate there

Hello Adam. I was quite surprised @ how large these towns actually r. The other thing that really surprised me was that u would go through a door that looked rather unassuming only to find it was a Mall…full of stores, ppl, etc. Then u continue down through the mall & when u exit, ur on yet another busy street. I know I’d said before that I’m blown away by how big a “town” is. Here in the States, a town is typically quite small. There r a few large towns but only have a few restaurants, nothing like what I’ve seen on ur past few drives. Well, I won’t keep u. Thanks again for doing this, Adam. I can’t possibly tell u enough times how much they mean to me. Take care 😉

Thanks Tina :) Yes, our towns around here are quite large due to how they grew so big during the industrial revolution and beyond, being one of the main areas of industry in the country in the past. There's plenty of history around here to get stuck into. Take care, Adam :)

All those wine bars long gone from my youth. Dump then, dump now, as are most towns.
