- I'm not quitting creating videos, but it's become very apparent to me that UA-cam as my job is no longer sustainable. I hope you guys can understand.

I've watched you since I was maybe 7 and now 15 and you impacted my life your the reason I was able to get through my life your videos are amazing. Hopefully everything is fixed and ok your one of the best Minecraft creators I've ever watched

It’s hurt seeing you go through this for the past few months… even years at this point. UA-cam is a very hostile place for creators who don’t want to stick with one specific niche on their channel in perpetuity. But that’s what happens when CTR and watch time control the entire website.
I hope that you have the best possible luck in securing a new job that brings you long term solace man.

Been here since day one and always will be your channel is great but everyone doesn’t know when to wake up from a robotic bear but your a great UA-camr and all all around great person and don’t let this get to you and just keep pushing and make a subreddit and check on it and post frequently so you can see how much people appreciate and love your work

It’s really sucks that you are in this situation, as somebody that has been watching since factory, and knowing how long some of those videos took to come out, I am more then happy waiting as that was one of the best in the series.
No matter how long it takes, I know that a lot of the people who left a comment will watch whenever you feel like it’s ready, and when you are ready to come back to UA-cam.
It’s crazy that having 1.3 millions subscribers means that on a week old video about Pokémon, probably one of the most successful franchises in the world, only means you get 1.5k views.
Yeah it's pretty crazy, I think honestly that was more of a combination of me doing a lot of streams and the fact I had the video scheduled.

I'm so sorry on how things are turning out. I love watching the amount of time and energy you put into these videos not to mention the imagination! When I was younger I couldn't do much besides watching your videos but I want to help out now.

This really sucks to hear, if my 6 year old self that first watched your videos hearing this, i would be mad, but now, a lot older, (and also owning my own fnaf RP series) I really understand how it is and how much it sucks to code stuff. I hope things turn out for the best Dan, and if you need to take a break, it doesn't matter how long, we will support you 100%, at least I will.
When I think of my childhood, I think of you and a few other Minecraft UA-camrs. I'll be an adult soon, and it's crazy how much time has passed. It feels like yesterday when I first discovered this channel.
I was immediately hooked on MNAF from the moment I laid my eyes on it. I was so fascinated by everything, and I'd be lying if I said I liked the other content you post just as much as MNAF because MNAF has had a significant impact on my life.
I wanted to understand how everything worked, so I became interested in programming and all other forms of content creation. I also wanted to see how far you could take it right from the beginning, and I couldn't be more impressed by how far you've taken it.
I want to see MNAF succeed! I really do. BUT I also don't want to push you or any of the people working on the project to go completely crazy. Everything has to end at some point. I also don't want you to burn out or become depressed just to make enough money for rent by producing MNAF videos. It was so impressive to me because you and the people involved had fun doing it, and that shows in the final product. If you don't enjoy doing it anymore and it doesn't even provide enough income for a happy life, then there's no reason to continue.
That doesn't just apply to MNAF. Either way, I'm here to support you! MNAF is important to me, but the people behind it are way more important to me.

The years I did experience before were also not the best or most common but I can only hope for a better future because what else is there?

Hey there Dan, not sure if my name rings any bells, but just incase it doesn’t, I’m the creator of FNaF Universe (yep, from the starlight revival days) and now, FNaF Universe: Resuited. I figured this would be a good way to reach you, and plus, I wanted to do this anyway to help an old friend out. This situation you’re in really sucks… I know what it feels like to have people not care about any other content besides FNaF Minecraft content… I tried self teaching myself animating in Blender for a while back in between the time period since the cancellation of FNaF Universe, and the start of Resuited. Barely anyone bat an eye to me uploading my hours of animating and practice. Then once Resuited started development, I started to gain a bit of traction again… I really hope that things take a turn for the better for you, and honestly after seeing this happen to your bedrock map after a single update, I’m honestly a bit nervous about eventually porting FNaF Universe: Resuited over to bedrock… Hope this little donation helps, as I’m quite short on money right now and can’t give much… Merry Christmas Dan, and a happy new year to you and your family as well. ❤️

I don't have many memories of this channel but I know for a fact that I've watched your stuff before. It sucks to see someone's life go down the drain in seconds because their dream job isn't what they thought it would be. Everyone aspires to be a UA-camr these days but with all the competition there is, it's hard to make a living off of it and it's even worse when you're required to upload the same thing every day because it randomly blew up. I simply cannot fathom the hours you put into these videos. I'm glad you've made it this far, even if I don't know you that well.
I hope this money alongside other donations will be able to help you find a sustainable job that you enjoy. Sad to see you go, but happy to see that you've realized UA-cam and Bedrock aren't the best platforms to make a living off of. Have a good life, CavemanFilms.

I grew up watching your content true it was MNAF that got me watching same for Ant I remember coming home to see a new episode it was AMAZING! I know 15$ isn't much but I would rather say that if your getting burnt out please take a break from it even if it means stoping completely I still want to watch your videos MNAF or not your one of my childhood heros that got me though the day and i am going to be going into content creating not just UA-cam I want to make games because i was inspired by a lot of people and your one of them!

The fact that your pretty much trapped in this MNAF content trap is infuriating, as the scp series has been amazing, the recent pixelmon nuzlocke reminds me of your old pocketpixel videos. Plus the few other things in-between like the backroom mod for minecraft, that DBD inspired game your friend made, the scp games, and so much more, that never really saw any spotlight. I know you don't know me, but you have changed the hearts and minds of so many people, been inspiration to hundreds, entertainment for thousands, and a friend for millions. It is unfortunate that most of your other content does go unwatched from a majority. I know a few years back I used to watch your SCP series you have, and I enjoyed it, it was good. I stopped watching it because I lost interest in SCP stuff for the most part, along with most Minecraft content. Mine Nights At Freddy's is one of the few Minecraft things I watch anymore, I really enjoy the writing of it, your own unique take on FNAF's story, at this point the story of MNAF while still following along a bit, it feels extremely different. Honestly from just what Ive seen though your probably one of the best Minecraft story tellers (I guess story teller is the correct term). Honestly Ive spent well over at least two days of time rewatching the entirety of MNAF, in fact MNAF is one of the ONLY things I can rewatch without it getting old. With Christmas break coming up, maybe Ill take the time to check out some of your other videos. And I hope maybe some others who havent yet also feel the same way. I hope you have an amazing holiday.

I gotta admit I'm one of the guilty folks who mostly watches your MNAF content, but I mostly blame youtube's terrible recommendation system where the stuff that does well does super duper well, and the rest just gets cast aside. Minecraft aside though, you're an incredibly good content creator and I do love your videos whenever I actually find the time to watch them. I'm a pretty busy person, but it's nice to come back occasionally and check what you've uploaded. I grew up on your videos, not just mnaf but other content as well like your SCP videos and such.

I can kinda relate, the only popular content of mine is FNAF Minecraft stuff and it does indeed suck that no one watches anything else. I started watching your videos back in early 2015 when i was 12 now I'm 21 with two kids and its heartbreaking how you are stuck in this box of only being able to make mnaf content because your other series deserve recognition for how good they are. I didn’t even realise this was done in bedrock, but man I can hear how this has effected you in yiur voice, I was wondering what had happened to the series but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait, but if this series of series’s keeps causing problems for you maybe you should actually end it, since I can tell each of these series takes so long to make and has a lot of problems at points

ima be honest i was one of the people that thought importing the world to java would be easer but after seeing what happened to it just by changing the version i understand why it would be more difficult since you would have to rebuild the hole thing, it does suck that you're kind of retiring but at this point its better to just stop for now and get finically stable and hopefully get in a better mental state because i can tell how much of a toll it is for you, hope you get better dan
Dan, I completely understand what your going through. For me I just made videos using my school apple ipad. It was just a bunch of weird stories mashed together with crappy editing and glue. But when I graduated I had to stop making videos. And I can only imagine this is only half of what your going through.

Honestly one of the saddest UA-cam fallouts I've ever seen. It really does suck that so many less people check out your other stuff (SCP is a great example and honestly one of my favorite series you've put out)

Especially when the game legitimately feels like a strange knockoff Java on an Aternos server or such in singleplayer.

Dan, you were such a huge source of inspiration for me when I started making videos back in 2015.
It sucks to see such a great creator has fallen because the audience was formed around one specific niche and I don’t blame you for needing to get a full time job and thinking of retiring from Minecraft/quitting UA-cam full time.
I know I’m only 1 person but your scp content has been amazing to watch and I love watching every video you put out.

You actually inspired me to make my own Minecraft Fnaf games as well. I understand if you need a break, or if life forces your hand.
