I was in TJ last week and I walked across the border from San Ysidro for the first time and I followed most of your advice . After watching your videos it gave me some confidence to walk across the border . There were not very many people crossing at 10 am on Thursday . I took a taxi to revolution Ave. it cost $ 5 dollars and I walked back to the border crossing from el centro about 4 pm . There was a line to get into the USA but it went pretty fast . I had to wait maybe 30 minutes.
That's great. In the day it's really easy to jump on the "Centro" bus for a 10 peso coin. It goes straight to Revolution. Lately the day crossing has been long. Around 1pm it could take an hour walking. I always walk across in 5 minutes past 7pm. Glad my videos helped. I have more on the way. It's not complicated, and it's a great city to visit. Is zona norte the cheapest place for hotels? Most videos on youtube regarding hotels are all in zona norte...anybody have any other recommendations for a more quiet area and still cheap?
Most places in Zona Norte are motels. Most are nasty, but you might find a gem. I did a few videos on higher end hotels. Usually 100 plus on the weekends, but you might get $60 on the weekdays. The Ticuan and Pueblo Amigo are popular. I'd put the Hyatt Place into the mix. Sorry to hear that
Very disappointed falta de organización. Vi documental de lo mal que trataron a una muchacha artista porque no dejaron subir a su estilista y maquillara
I get it. Something happened in the past two years where people seem to now hate this hotel. No comments since 2021 and two dozen in the past week. So many, it almost seems organized. But, hey I live 8,300 miles away today. So I'll take your word (and 20 others in the past week?) Thanks for commenting.
The worst HOTEL
I 100% disagree. It's a decent place for the money. Pay $600 a night at the Sofitel is you only travel 1st class. I've did both, and I've seen hotels even in Rosarito that were 100 times worse than Hotel Ticuan.
Mala atención en hotel TICUAN,
Thanks for watching
A few days ago Hotel Ticuan wouldn't let a trans youtuber ,,,they actually charged them but kicked tghem out --- HOMOPHOBIC
If that's true, that's sad to hear in 2024.
La recepcionista Yesenia en una grocera antipática y se burla de las personas. La gerencia tiene que ser peor que ella para dejarla trabajar
I put this video out two years ago. It got a hand full of comments. Then nothing for two years. In the past week it has got a few dozen negative comments. Maybe since that documentary came out? I'm not sure, but thanks for watching.
Terrible place but service never stops there
Sorry to hear that
Hotel basuraaaaaaa
Let me guess, you work at another hotel. This place is for what you pay. Trust me, I've stayed in 1000 hotels. Try going to India to see a rough hotel.
Es un horrible hotel
Why do you say that?
