Bethesda should hire you. Not only have you created something that fits the narrative of the game, you made something that asthetically looks amazing with the wooden finish to give it an older vibe and the simplistic design to be more practical unlike most Bethesda designs that are out of place and are overly complicated.
Just an fyi for those having trouble locating the Heatseeker variant: The gun IS on the over pass overlooking the Quincy Quarry, but the side NOT connected to the gunner base. So go right from Clint's terminal and go to that disconnected overpass. It will be on top of a dead gunner.
Downloaded right away, this thing is fun! I also saw it in the hands of Brotherhoods soldiers for the first time earlier, and yeah, the all-black furniture looks really good for them.
I love how much variety your weapons have brought to Fallout 4. Nice to have another higher level weapon. Hopefully one day we’ll see your mods ported to Fallout 76 as that game needs variety too.
He does have a point about modern guns in fallout. The marksman rifle in New vegas is just an M4A1 with a trigon ACOG which didn't even get issued by the US military until the late 2000s
Genuinely hyped that y’all made this. This is a rifle I would’ve purchased if Keltec had actually brought it to market, so it’s nice to at least use it in fallout, especially with your usual high quality.

Hell yeah, this rifle looks AMAZING! I'd love to see you give something like the Surefire MGX, Stoner 63, or Ultimax 100 the Dak gun mod treatment. Especially the SureFire for the same reasoning behind this gun being based off of a prototype that never saw major production. And I think you could definitely give something like the Ultimax an amazing Fallout aesthetic. Can't wait to see what you've got coming down the pipe next. You and Pig make the Cadillacs of F4 gun mods IMO, always worth the spot on the load order.

i know there's one guy on nexus that's been at it for a while but idk if they're still working on it other than that your best bet's probably gonna have to be some receivers for pipe weapons
"Future but Retro" guns work for Fallout because of the setting and worldbuilding. The apocalypse happened where tech was more advanced than ours currently. That's the Future component. But the wars that led up to the apocalypse made some resources rare or unavailable such as petroleum products like plastics and polymers, so post apocalypse factions use other materials instead like wood or steel. That's the Retro component.
I'm always looking forward to these new weapons from dak and pig, both munitions and non-munitions, curious to see what you do next. Also this reminds me of the plasma rifle from terminator
A Service Rifle from Dak n Pig with the SREP animations would be probably the best Service Rifle. Also its sad that you don't care at all about 3rd person, I play in 3rd person and thanks to the guy that added 3rd person animations to some of your weapons, one of the things that I love from fallout games is that you can switch from first to third person.
They know that the guy is adding it. Basic premise seems to be a Manufacturing Assembly Line. Doing it like that does have it's ups and downs, but Dak and Pig do have a Team.
@@Krvptify I like it but Burst Fire only, is not to my liking. The Semi, Burst, Full option showed up in the 1980's. Not only that but I believe the Burst Fire Mod is needed to use Pig's Surplus Rifle Mod. Though that could've been from that City Killer Shotgun.
I think I've got a good idea for an assault rifle mod for you. A Fallout 4ified AN-94. Which was part of the Abakan program. That program had quite a few goofy designs within it. Incorporating the 2rnd "Hyper-burst" would be really neat. There aren't many if any rifles that use the Munitions 5.45, and I think it would be cool to see what uniques you would come up with for that. Anyways, great job on all your recently released mods @Degenerate Dak. I'm am eternally grateful for your recreation of the M1887. The other one didn't quite look right.
I just loaded this to my game today. I love it. What's funny is when Kel-Tec originally announced the M43, my first thought was that it was very Fallout-ish.
I've been using this mod on Xbox for a few days now and I love it. I made 3 different loadouts for one of my saves, one which is a DMR style weapon with a suppressor and wood furniture, another which functions as an LSW, considering some of the attachments and the green furniture reminded me of the L86 LSW and a more assault rifle-like weapon with a Holo Sight and black furniture. It's a good mod
I greatly appreciate the time and work that you and other creators put into making mods for this game. If we as players were stuck with base game weapons I think this game may have died out. It’s nice to have some variety.

I really dig your mods as they stick to the general aesthetic of fallouts universe. I'm building a modlist on console that's essentially a vanilla plus with a updated look for factions that sticks to the intended look but with a bit of realism militarized minutemen for example and using mostly fo3 or nv mods with your mods that are available to make it more alive and rugged throw in centaurs and nightkin some og raiders and update diamond city im 90 percent of the way there bravo your mods blend perfectly for what im aiming for

Folks, I don't know what to tell ya, but Dak simply does not miss. Every time I see a new upload, it reinvigorates the desire to want to learn how to mod FO4.
You nailed it right when you said this gun included just for the aesthetic and looks. I'm a game designer and struggled a while with the idea of firearm variety in modern shooters since most of them would be 5.56 assault rifles and work the same functionally anyway (Battlefield 4 and COD are the prime suspects). But even then, it is still nice to see that firearms that we play can comes in many forms even if they are functionally the most mundane assault rifles. But there are more depths to firearm design other than its function such as maintainability, ease of cleaning, doctrine of uses, manufacturing process, patent rights, and much more, which could help adding interesting trivia to the fictional world when acknowledged by its creator. (Which is why I love survival games. They went in depth with the game mechanics and make it very interesting.) Games are creative works after all. It's okay when things are there simply because it looks cool sometimes. (It takes time to build game assets though which is why I feel that too many skins are waste of time.)
Would love if you did a "raiders weapons and armours" pack for real crazy stuff like extreme looking bayonets and ridiculous looking/stylish themes and paints for those who like to just shoot anyone and everything haha, love the work you do!
We need another shotgun. Specifically something like the USAS12 or even a slug only shotgun. But more assault rifles are always good! Great work Dak and Pig.

I have this gun in the same load order as a highly compressed FAMAS. I DEFINITELY needed more bullpups in my load order, so this is a neat addition! Also, I needed something to relplace the NV machine gun I've been using as an AR for a while.
Is Wardaddy even still around? I agree with Dak. Aesthetics over date. If it fits it sits, honestly. We got like THREE AR-15 variants in NV for crying out loud.

What role it would fill in combat. • Ergonomics. Is the design user friendly or at least viable enough to fulfill its intended role in combat? • Availability of materials. Are the stuff its made out of abundant enough to make it? • Manufacturing feasibility. Whether the tech level the game is set in allows for it to be made. • Cost and amount. How cheap or expensive it is and does it make sense with how numerous or rare it is. And lastly. *• Would it even function in the first place?* This is why the New Vegas Marksman Rifle "fits" and is widely approved of, and the Fallout 4 Assault Rifle is reviled by most.
@@Pigness7 I know. Point being that the EM2 aesthetic fits perfectly, and the munitions patch even allows for .280 ammo. Dak literally mentioned retro L85 which is, in essence exactly what the EM2 lineage was.
The Kel-tec Rdb variant everyone wished for and will likely never get * quick edit: you should make a unique that is chambered in 308 as a reference to the RDB's bug brother the Rfb.
Duck, pig, greetings. Thank you for another beautiful mod. In general, I wanted to ask - Will there be any guns inspired by the Metro series of games? (in case you don't know, the game takes place in post-apocalyptic Russia and there are a lot of cool guns in the game). I would especially like to ask you to pay attention to the 3rd part of the series - Exodus. It would be cool to see guns like - Ashot, Bigun, Shambler, Helsing or Tikhar. Well, or an update of existing mods, with new attachments inspired by this series of games? If you are interested, you can watch it with Pig. For models and a general look, you duck, you can search on the Internet (it will be enough to type in the search bar) - Metro Exodus Weapons Concept Arts. Or on YT look for videos on demand - METRO Exodus All weapon Showcase. These videos can be especially interesting for the pig, because there will also be animations of interaction with weapons. If Fallout 4 is anything to go by, they're not that interested in that. They'd rather get "creative" with weapon designs, making absolute abominations in the process (FO3's combat shotgun, FO4's "assault rifle" come to mind) than use real guns. Even with more basic designs (like the double barrel) they still elected to fudge it up for... reasons. If the issue is creative direction, new talent won't help.
I don't know if you have any interest but I hope you make some energy weapons they've always personally been my favorite in the fallout franchise. Maybe something replace the laser musket, perhaps a plasma flintlock pistol, or I don't know I just hope you make an energy weapon mod. Thank you for all the great work keep it up
You know i really wish i could get the assault rifle from time shift in fallout 4 or star field i guess. No idea why that's what popped into my head but it did thing was really cool. One of the only game guns that had a side loading mag
God I wish I could mod my fallout without it caving in on itself because i would download every mod this man has made plus the neat quest overhauls like sim settlement 2 and Valkyrie
One weapon I think is way overdue for fallout 4 should be some form of muzzle-loader or blackpowder rifle, I mean a Kentucky rifle or perhaps a "New Kentucky" rifle in the Hands of a minute-man would be awesome.

No sir, give me a dumbass naval cannon instead. Because that makes perfect sense. Carrying cannonballs and powder charges would definitely be convenient in a wasteland. Give me a crank gun and call it a musket, too, why not.
@@Herr_Affe Blunderbuss as a two handed gun with several payloads, Musket with normal ball and a rifled bullet, same for pistols, cap and ball revolvers and of course the Crank gun as a option as well as a junk tech Gatling gun as a early game option.
im thinking about making a mod that recolors alot of the buildings in fallout 4's city and adds some windows to make it feel more like downtown DC in fallout 3. i prefer the gray, black, and rust colored buildings in fallout 3 rather than the coral, sea foam, bright green, and brown colored buildings and doors in fallout 4.
This gun fuckin SLAPS I like to headcanon it as an upgrade to the bullpup’d R91PT variant that’s apart of CSEP called the R92; made in limited numbers before the big kaboom for the elite special forces of the US military as a result of its reliability and modularity, of course made by Stent like the R91 and its bullpup’d cousin before it And truth be told that’s just because it looks similar enough to the R91 that it looks like an evolution of its Bullpup variant, but this mod is a permanent addition to my load order; good fuckin work choomba, this is the kinda shit I love to see and play around with, and I’d love to see what you guys are capable of in the future, maybe even a belt-fed MG depending on how annoying it would be to get Belt-fed anims working? But regardless; you guys crushed it; keep doin your best choomba, and don’t forget to take a break every now and again, I know how much of a nightmare it is to make mods thanks to insights from modders over the years, and I’m positive if you or Pig ever needed to take a break we’d all understand Kick ass choom, I appreciate the work you guys have done
Tiny bit curious on something. Pig and Dak seem to have more than the regular Mod Makers interest in Firearms. They seem to have interest in their form, function, and engineering. So, does that perhaps mean Pro 2-A and Constitution.
How do you create mods? I want to create recoiless rifle. This type weapon was in use since late 40s into 50s and onto present! I'm surprised no one has already modded in this type heavy weapon in to the game.
If only Kel-Tec would add it to my gun stores levelled lists

Check out Pig's Surplus Rifle. Not exactly a service rifle but it's close enough and is well made.

The "Combat Rifle Pistol Grip" mod looks very similar to a "Fallout-ized" AN94.

i personally agree as plenty of modern guns have very fallout feels to them
in fact its a take i’ve never seen cause lore freaks see a gun made after 1975 and act like its spitting in the face of the classic lore

L85 and EM2 are vastly different guns, they share nothing besides both being British bullpups

Point being that the EM2 aesthetic fits perfectly, and the munitions patch even allows for .280 ammo. Dak literally mentioned retro L85 which is, in essence exactly what the EM2 lineage was.

I'll give the rifle some ruffness. Scratches, little dents, grime, dirt, bit of the pistol grip chip off. Just want a little fallout feel to it.

Will there be any guns inspired by the Metro series of games? (in case you don't know, the game takes place in post-apocalyptic Russia and there are a lot of cool guns in the game). I would especially like to ask you to pay attention to the 3rd part of the series - Exodus.
It would be cool to see guns like - Ashot, Bigun, Shambler, Helsing or Tikhar.

I really wish Bethesda would hire you and other lore friendly mod authors to design the weapons for Fallout
If Fallout 4 is anything to go by, they're not that interested in that. They'd rather get "creative" with weapon designs, making absolute abominations in the process (FO3's combat shotgun, FO4's "assault rifle" come to mind) than use real guns. Even with more basic designs (like the double barrel) they still elected to fudge it up for... reasons. If the issue is creative direction, new talent won't help.
I love it. Hopefully we'll get more Assault Rifle mods in the future!

I don't know if you have any interest but I hope you make some energy weapons they've always personally been my favorite in the fallout franchise. Maybe something replace the laser musket, perhaps a plasma flintlock pistol, or I don't know I just hope you make an energy weapon mod. Thank you for all the great work keep it up

You know i really wish i could get the assault rifle from time shift in fallout 4 or star field i guess. No idea why that's what popped into my head but it did thing was really cool. One of the only game guns that had a side loading mag
God I wish I could mod my fallout without it caving in on itself because i would download every mod this man has made plus the neat quest overhauls like sim settlement 2 and Valkyrie
One weapon I think is way overdue for fallout 4 should be some form of muzzle-loader or blackpowder rifle, I mean a Kentucky rifle or perhaps a "New Kentucky" rifle in the Hands of a minute-man would be awesome.

You mean like Fallout 4 should've had to begin with? Yeah, sure, don't give me a blunderbuss as a reward for the quest where you have to help the crew of a Colonial-era ship. No sir, give me a dumbass naval cannon instead. Because that makes perfect sense. Carrying cannonballs and powder charges would definitely be convenient in a wasteland. Give me a crank gun and call it a musket, too, why not.
@@Herr_Affe Blunderbuss as a two handed gun with several payloads, Musket with normal ball and a rifled bullet, same for pistols, cap and ball revolvers and of course the Crank gun as a option as well as a junk tech Gatling gun as a early game option.
im thinking about making a mod that recolors alot of the buildings in fallout 4's city and adds some windows to make it feel more like downtown DC in fallout 3. i prefer the gray, black, and rust colored buildings in fallout 3 rather than the coral, sea foam, bright green, and brown colored buildings and doors in fallout 4.

I like to headcanon it as an upgrade to the bullpup’d R91PT variant that’s apart of CSEP called the R92; made in limited numbers before the big kaboom for the elite special forces of the US military as a result of its reliability and modularity, of course made by Stent like the R91 and its bullpup’d cousin before it
And truth be told that’s just because it looks similar enough to the R91 that it looks like an evolution of its Bullpup variant, but this mod is a permanent addition to my load order; good fuckin work choomba, this is the kinda shit I love to see and play around with, and I’d love to see what you guys are capable of in the future, maybe even a belt-fed MG depending on how annoying it would be to get Belt-fed anims working?
But regardless; you guys crushed it; keep doin your best choomba, and don’t forget to take a break every now and again, I know how much of a nightmare it is to make mods thanks to insights from modders over the years, and I’m positive if you or Pig ever needed to take a break we’d all understand

Tiny bit curious on something. Pig and Dak seem to have more than the regular Mod Makers interest in Firearms. They seem to have interest in their form, function, and engineering. So, does that perhaps mean Pro 2-A and Constitution.
How do you create mods? I want to create recoiless rifle. This type weapon was in use since late 40s into 50s and onto present! I'm surprised no one has already modded in this type heavy weapon in to the game.
