President Minouche Shafik Greets the Class of 2027

On August 27, 2023, President Minouche Shafik started move-in day by greeting the members of the Columbia Class of 2027, along with their families and loved ones, on College Walk. During convocation ceremonies with Columbia College, Engineering, and General Studies, she reminded them that "new beginnings are exciting and hard and everything in between" … "Welcome to New York. Welcome to Columbia," she said.
