Nice mod... I especially liked the padding under the tray to keep the wear and tear to a minimum. If you're using a heavy lead acid battery I'd go with thicker gauge aluminum for the bungie attachments as the !/16th would likely get bent out. Great job!!! The only thing I would have added would be padding under the battery too, but that's just me. Again, great job as always.
That's a great idea. I'll add that onto the frame tray framing before I put the back deck back on. I should have thought of that lol.

that's a great little project if you have all the material already. cheaper to buy a battery tray.

I've never run out of power on these lithium batteries, and that's fishing 12 hiur days.
