Put down my first application of super juice Saturday. Used it at full rate and over night had a green haze over the yard. Awesome product. Can’t wait to see how it does after we stop getting frosts here in WV

Awww shucks, you missed me by ~6 hours, or you're psychic! Just ordered some Humic DG on Amazon earlier this afternoon... Also in Georgia (ATL) and figured now was a good time to put down more Humic DG. Did one treatment back in February on tall fescue and have been amazed by the color improvement and overall health. I'll probably order some more through your link come summer.

Hey, i put down some Humic DG in the lawn and afterwards i starting seeing spots in the yard that look like white paint. A buildup of something not sure what it is but i dethatched and had put down small doses of 10-10-10, also put down some iron. That was before i put the humic down. I did go kinda heavy in some areas with the humic.
Hey, doc I noticed that for the humic acid product there is a smaller but cheaper bag available to buy. Will there ever be similar bag sizes for super juice or organic fertilizer?
Doc, is there any benefit to aerating the lawn before applying Humic Acid? Thumbs up to spouse getting pissed off. I'm familiar with that.
Just got in a mow (mulch) and application of Humic DG right before a nice lite rain. I've been using this and SuperJuice mainly and results have been very good so far. I need to topdress next to get rid of these undulations.
I cannot apply this as much as I want to because my soil is acidic and I have put down lime. Is my thinking correct?

If I was going to till up an uneven section of my yard to get it somewhat level, could I apply this product extra heavy (20lbs/1000) if I was going to till it into the soil?

Just sprayed SJ on the lawn on Saturday and it looks better each morning! It is a wonderful emerald green color all over. Granular is good, SJ is great.

The only down fall is that I live in Ontario Canada and we can't get any of these lawn products up here. I would love to get my hands on some of that super juice. Please advise how I can.

Doc ok ......... I have bought the Humic from Anderson viaAmazon, but I m not really clear as to what to expect in the way of results. Either short term or long term whats going to happen?? Its not a fertilizer ok I gather its going to enhance my soil but I m not clear to what to expect
Humic will improve the soil and plant nutrient usage. I don't think you'll "NOTICE" a visible change like using PGF. But it lets you use less fertilizer and improves soil health and plant health. Video coming soon.
Have you done soil testing while using humate? I am wondering if it can raise CEC. Either way, it produces great results. Like you have said, you can't do better than the Andersons product right now,

It's best to only mix what you plan to use. We have not tested long term mixed product.
Hey doc I just ordered the PGF fertilizer through Amazon I should get it next week and put it out. This product has 12% humic do you still recommend a supplemental and how much?
Is it best for Humic DG to be applied to only top of soil or can the lawn benefit more from applying Humic DG after aeration?
putting anything down after aeration is better as it gets deeper into the soil, humic acid is no exception

I’m from North Texas about halfway between Dallas and the OK border. I purchased a new build with fresh sod back in late Oct 2018. The sod went dormant almost immediately. I had (have) no clue how to take care of a lawn and have developed TONS of weeds. I saw you say on a video not to put any pre emergent down on new sod. So, I was wondering if you can recommend a course of action for me now that it’s getting into spring and I’ve done nothing to my new sod up to this point. Would I be good to put down some PGF and Super Juice along with weed killer products to take care of the weed problem? Hope you can help. Really glad I was able to find your channel. Thanks a ton.
Not a lot you can do other than treat the weeds for now. Attack it next year with PE and it will be JUST FINE the following season. Frustrating I know.
How To with Doc thanks for the quick reply! Should I skip the super juice and PGF as well and only do weed killer? Or can I treat the sod with those two in addition to weed killer right now?
This year should be super juice, light PGF, and maybe some organic when the heat hits. The only thing you WON'T do is PE.

Hey Doc, we just received rain here in Austin, so I applied first app of humic this morning. If the ground is still wet after applying should I still water the humic in?
No need really. Mother Nature will do the rest. You can spray with a hose if you want but it doesn't go anywhere even under heavy rains.
@@HowTowithDoc we just had a ton of rain here in central Texas and I have a ton of looks like nutsedge and poa popping up now. I did follow the 2x apps of pre emergent back in early spring. Should I put out another round of preemergent or do a spot/blanket treatment using post emergent?

Great video, as always. I have a question. So far, I have applied barricade, super juice, and PGF. I plan on continuing with super juice, and applying Innova organic fert, when the temps get up around 80+. Would the n-ext products like rgs, air-8, micro green, and humic12 be beneficial, or are they unnecessary with the products I am currently using. I have a mixture of warm season grasses like st augustine, zoysia, and bermuda. Thanks
I think you are good. The only thing else I would do is Humic DG.
I live in Arkansas and only the 40 lb bag is showing so I guess they are out of the smaller bag. It states that it cannot be shipped to Arkansas where I live. Do you know why this is the case? I put PGF on which has humic in the product. Any other alternatives you would recommend?

How about a test plot to prove opinion? Lay sq yd of old carpet before application, apply, turn carpet over to have plot with double rate, wait for results, then make informed video.
TIP - Hey Doc I have a tip for those putting out Humic Acid granules... WEAR SOCKS. LOL, I didn't wear socks with my shoes and since the granules dissolve easily I ended up with black feet. HAHA. Now I know.
