- SO I finally got to my review of this beast of a figure!
It's been a long time coming too. So lets see if this guy lives up to expectations or if he fails to complete the mission.

Once again this is a bad ass figure! Be glad that Marauders did you send you the wrong figure. This guy looks like a straight up murder machine. The simplistic black works perfectly on this guy. If you have any ideas for Marauders to do in a future action figure line; do not be afraid to email them your ideas because they listen to you & reply back also. I have to get this same exact figure once the folks at Marauders gets back from over seas. I love the fact that they check their figures for joint tolerances and basic action figure poses like looking tactical with guns.

I wanted to do the kick starter from last year but didnt due to being late on the deadline. This figure looks cool but man, I honestly would have been mad to see I didn't get all the stuff that was promised. I like the fact Maruaders is making figures but like you said, if a company is going to take over that hasbro is doing, they need to kick up a notch.
Great review! That is a bad ass figure for what it is! I did not participate in their first kickstarter; you best believe I will participate in the Marauders Task Force Valkyries kickstarter! I think Marauders Gun Runners will work with you & get you the accessories that you are missing or need! Marauders 3 3/4 inch figures will only get better from here on out! I hold Marauders Gun Runners/ or Marauders Task Force in high regards! Now I have to buy the Marauder Task Force male figures individually which I have no problem doing! I'm excited for what other themed 3 3/4 inch figures they have coming down the pipeline! You pretty much covered everything that you need to cover with these Marauders Task Force figures! Hasbro/G.I. Joe can do better than what they are doing with their 3 3/4 to 4 inch action figure toy line! Other companies are seeing where Hasbro/G.I. Joe is messing up at & capitalizing off Hasbro's mistakes with figures and vehicles!
These are the new Joes! At least until Hasblow get their shit together.
I hope it's successful enough so Marauders can really develop a line. That would be so damn cool.

AWESOME LOOKING FIGURES
Like you, I understood that I was to receive considerably more than what I received, but I'm over it. These figures, while decent enough, aren't worth $20. They just aren't. Better executed than GI Joe and Star Wars for sure, but putting aside the fact that some people got more of this and that than others for the same price, as well as the minimalistic approach to paint apps, I just can't justify adding more of these guys and gals to my collection as they're almost too generic and seemingly more suitable for display than what I'm into.
Marauder Inc is awesome, I mean really really awesome. The detail level of the weapons is superb but they have to fix the scale of some items like the reflex sigth or the knifes for example.
I'm good with the relative scale of the weapons. If I wanted perfect "real world" scale, I'd stick with the 1/6 scale folks.
And I actually used to collect them. Got way tooo expensive. I'll settle for this stuff.

And something else: let's push Marauder to improve some details of the figures, THE BOOTS!? I cant imagines a sildiers going into combat with that plates as a footwear. Special operators as Delta and Seals... use tactical footwear. I dont like to copy but lets take a look on 1:6 figures. I think is very easy to fix that. Anyway Marauder rocks, the joes need to grow. Good try with the 50th anniversary bunch but, coul be better

It's armor.
We're big kids. Don't be sooo caught up in how it "Really works/looks".
There are soooooooooooo many types of armor out there in reality, including the plated kind like the Task force guys have.
GI JOE has a loose basis in real life.
LOOSE.
Things are based on real world counter parts but there is soooooooo much that the Joes do and weapons they use that won't see action in real life. As well as vehicles and even characters that don't exist and have no place in military operations.
Ninja anyone?
If you want PURE realism, go with BBI or 21st Century toys for 3 3/4.
Dragon, BBI, Hot Toys, Cotswold etc. for 1/6th scale.
GI JOE isn't just modern military with a new logo slapped on it.
That's an issue that's killing the brand.
The new guys running things don't seem to understand the 3 3/4 line.
Marauders gets it. Their sculpts are right in the middle of sci-fi and general "bad-ass nondescript military".
All that being said, You're lucky...They're releasing new male bodies with different gloves and boots. One such is sans armor plating.
Variety! Another reason to love Marauders.
