- Travelling to Japan, the Chans work to find the second Oni mask that Tarakudo seeks. However, Ratso finds it and gains control over its tribe of Shadowkhan. Uncle soon discovers the spell he used before will not work, to which Tohru points out that the only way to deal with the Oni masks is to find a set of Hana Fuda cards, as they provide information on the location of each mask and a key ingredient for the spell to remove it from its wearer. Uncle soon feels useless because Tohru is more knowledgeable on the subject and prepares to leave. However, he is soon forced to return to his family, as they face trouble recovering the cards owned by a car factory owner.

Daolon Wong and the Enforcers have been taken into custody and incarcerated. Planning to escape, Wong attempts to summon the Shadowkhan. Instead, he unleashes an ancient evil known as Tarakudo, Lord of all Oni and King of the Shadowkhan. Jackie and crew find out that the masks have been scattered across the globe and that each mask contains the power to control a different tribe of Shadowkhan as well as a different ingredient to remove and subdue the mask.

I like how Tarakudo is pretty respectful and social with the Dark Hand. He's the kind of boss you like to work with even though he doesn't take too fondly to failure.
@@misterOrca4 I’m glad the writers gave Tarakudo that kind of attitude considering what the Dark Hand had to endure in S3. Finn, Ratso, and Chow were horribly mistreated by Daolon Wong. They were basically slaves, so I guess the writers decided if they were going to stay bad guys, they should at least catch a break with a much nicer boss.

What was really terrifying was how he thought it was a dream after. It’s nice foreshadowing that the mask takes over the longer you have it on

Ninja Shadowkan is Number 1
Ratso was always my favorite of the goons. He was much more playful than the others. I mean using his Blade Shadow Kahn to make a full baseball roster. Or when he was in jail and excited for gruel saying, "What? It's fun food." But I'm glad when given the chance he could be scary.

This was DEFINITELY Tohru's season since not only was he able to decipher the legend in the previous episode, but also had a quick counter in mind for Tarakudo's intrusion by means of an onion. Said measure inspired the "Onion Spell" to protect Section 13 from a possible break-in.
In Season 1 Tohru was such a schmuck; but I love how over the next few seasons he grows into the team MVP.
04:54 it stated that Ratsu has the weakest Chi in all the Four inforcers, that's why its take him alot to summon the 1st Shadowkhan while Cho and Hack foo summoned hordes effortlessly.
Razor Khan is my favorite Shadowkhan. they are the fastest land-based Shadowkhan tribe

It was kept in a chest which I'm guessing allowed him to channel the power of the Shadowkhan without having to wear it. Basically stealing another villain's minions for his own.

did they ever explain if uncle is Jade's grandpa or is he once removed? honestly family trees are confusing sometimes im still trying to figure out if Rey is kylo ren's great aunt or cousin once removed in any even its super weird,thanks alot jar jar abrams.
Apparently, IIRC, Jade's parents don't know the answer to that one either. Also, Rey is Palpatine's granddaughter of all things.
