I loved collecting fireworks as a kid. My dad’s friend did displays and sold us professional level fireworks. I loved letting most of them off but keeping OG favourites like; thundering kings.
I've been mad about fireworks since a was a young kid back in the 50s/60s -- the 5th Nov was always far more exciting than my birthday & Xmas combined. . I used to save all the wrappers from those 1960s fireworks until I had a big collection. I'm 70 now, but 10yrs ago I put them on Ebay & had several bidders. Sold for £200 in the end. . The graphics & colourful designs were SO 1960s - I should have framed some for the wall.
YES!!! The good old B-3 bomber!! There was actually another variant of it, I think called the B-1 or B-2? Anywho, the difference was it didn't have reports. But they both would leave a spiral burn mark on the ground... kinda cool! Lol
I used to know those small bees as sound and color birds back in the 70's, but never saw them in a cake format. If those rockets are 20+ years, they're great for their age
That’s a great stash of collectibles that for a quad tubes you have a board we have up here It’s three preloaded tubes on a board though and it’s my brothers. I’ve never seen it before ever. I think I’m gonna get it just to have it to Collect it but man that’s pretty nice collectible Staas good stuff Cody
I like that you take fire related risks serious! With that in mind, what precautions do you take to mitigate the risks of a fire starting or get seriously out of hand when it reaches that fireworks room?
Awesome video! Love seeing all the older stuff. I have a question but don't know if I should ask hear or what. It's about putting ashes in fireworks. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Dude where can I nab a couple of Literally Lit cakes? Last year Explosive Enterprises in Williston had a handful and I regretfully didn’t buy. I’ve got Positive Pyro stashed away and have lit it off. Phenomenal btw. I also want to get ahold of a Cody B Neon to demo and stash away. Let me know man!
If you don’t mind, may I ask how you got your own custom fireworks? I’m interested in doing this in the future, and I was wondering how exactly you were able to do this…
@@IamShrimple yeah so does Disneyland but they also use compressed air reason I know that is because I have a family member who works for Disney as a pyrotechnician
Awesome collection. But I can't help but see this as one big fire hazard. Hope you got some safety measure. Like maybe one of those glass balls that shatters and releases a fire retardant to take the flames out.
They do, but with younger generation not taking much interest in collecting much of anything, it may be hard to find buyers in the future. Don’t underestimate the power of nostalgia though... I’m young but it’s already happening to me. So much so that I go out of my way to find fireworks I had when I was younger
Just to reference that video. You literally deal with gun powder for a living. I think we can understand you getting distracted by a video game. Plus you're a new parent so yeah. Regardless of length I think anyone with half a brain can understand you getting distracted by a Nintendo game
You like star wars ha well I don't know what the collectible market is for fireworks but I tell you now to start collecting star wars action figures and Funko pops and other star wars memorabilia because star wars collecting is a very big everything is have is worth over 100,000.00$

I'd never be able to hold onto vintage fireworks myself as I would find it impossible to resist the urge to light it all off.
😂
It is very very hard to restrain myself from doing so LOL
@@CodyBPyrotechnics i'd at least open that one assortment enough to see if you won a million dollars and then use that plastic to tape it up.
Awesome collection bro. I can see the Cody B pyrotechnic museum soon. Lol 😆
That’s the goal!

Imagine being able to buy Disneyland Fireworks, Shells and mines
Disney World is what you want
@@IamShrimple yup plus they shoot way higher since they use compressed air
@@carlogarcia209 Disneyland uses air, Disney world uses real powder launched shells and mortars

Absolutely I have many fire precautions in place, 5 water extinguishers and no open flames allowed in the house
Is there an investment market for fireworks? Just wondering if they typically increase in value over time.
They do, but with younger generation not taking much interest in collecting much of anything, it may be hard to find buyers in the future. Don’t underestimate the power of nostalgia though... Anyone heard of thundering kings?
I googled the instant winner to see if anyone was reported to have won $10,000. I couldn't find anything, but I tried.
Hey Cody. Can you send me 2 Boxes Excallibur Shells to Germany ?
