Not sure if you found a solution to the mineral dust since making this video. What I’ve been using is the Zero water pitcher/filter. It’s relatively inexpensive and work so well, taking out all the calcium and minerals from tap water.
Times have changed, I got rid of the humidifier and got an evaporative humidifier which does not have the dust problem. And I moved to a new house where I have reverse osmosis water filters.
