I'm not generally a shooter gamer, I'm usually dumping hours in city building and resource management. So when, by Freedom's call, I became a Helldiver, bullet economy and resource management was simple for me. Thusly, I have always chuckled hard when my own weapons were adjusted in updates. They so rarely changed my style. Commisar, thank you, sir, for being a positive force in the HD community. We need more teamwork and less angst, and you lead by example.
Thank you for maintaining positivity. We need more overcoming obstacles rather than whining about them. I've been sticking to basic loadout and armor to improve my tactics rather than relying on more powerful primaries and secondaries to do the work for me and it's helped tremendously.

Loved this, and am honestly using a lot of your content as a general guide to help me with the decision making process for builds. If it were only me on a dive then thinking about loadout synergy would be relatively easy, or at least *solvable* but I'm only really interested in the team play and thinking it though from that perspective is really complex. I will say though you mentioned how your teammates are going to want to use the gear they bring, I was on a dive recently with an admittedly pretty new player who brought an autocannon, it was literally the perfect tool to help the team in 80%+ of the fights we were in, and they happened to be in the ideal position to use it probably 70%+ of the time too...I bet you can guess where this is going though. They didn't use it nearly at all and let me tell you that was *baffling* to me. Even when we were staring down the enemy at extract with them having only a single axis of approach nothin. It does not please me to say it but their most useful contribution was probably dying 20m in front of an Implailer with it's tentacles out which let me scoop up the cannon unload the whole thing into it in two seconds and kill it while they were still dropping back in before giving it back to them. I honestly came away from it not really blaming them or being mad at them just instead being baffled at it because it just sat on their back for most of the mission with full ammo, perhaps they were dealing with budget cuts on their destroyer!
Love the content, man. And I have to say, I've been absolutely destroying Super Helldive bugs and bots with the HMG and supply pack. And it's been a blast. Stun nades to reload against a chasing horde. Stun nades and precision orbital/airstrike to take out chargers and hulks and patrols. And 500kg for bile titans. It is so fun tearing through hordes of bile spewers and brood commanders. Gotta use the default RPM setting on the HMG, though. The low setting, which I usually roll with, isn't fast enough to deal with more than 3 bile spewers and brood commanders at a time when they're in your face or bearing down on a teammate.

Edit: ( yoooooooooooo the autocannon) Edit 2: Pretty similar concept for loadout: I use napalm, gas, 500 kg, autocannon. For my primary. The pummuler( trying new flamethrower). Everything else up to how I feel.
Bro. Unlocked the warbond last night and the cookout is an S Tier weapon. In fact the whole bond is solid. Pro tip. The flaming drop turns your supply drop into a flaming harbinger of death. Great video bro. For super earth 🌎
Thank you Commisar Kai, you have enlightened me to the real story happening. Despite the constant complaining, people have come back to Helldivers, not for fun, but for Democracy! I had saved up for the new warbond and I am glad I did. Am planning on running Cookout, Secondary flamethrower, don’t know which grenades. Then the autocannon for the heavier enemies that the cookout won’t just overheat, napalm strike for more fire, 500kg for heavy firepower, and the emancipator mech for the major situations.
Kai, I would thoroughly enjoy diving with people like your team! This morning I dropped in with some Randoms on diff 9. We were doing ok but the host disconnected and after that it went to hell. Felt like the host and I were carrying the squad because the other 2 players died twice in a row and quit. I tried my best to carry on but my loadout wasn't optimized for solo play. (Quasar rover and arc blitzer) did my best but could not get the objectives done.
Loved how quickly the outrage about the flamethrower was dismissed. Exactly my stance too! This new difficulty looks insane. 600 kills is quite a number! Keep doing what you do, commissar, you are doing it great! (The autocannon being described as the best diplomat is a killer line. ;) )
Load out: HMG emplacement,railgun ( or AMR) 110mm rocket pods, and machine gun turret ( or auto cannon turret) Concept: hold down the line! Drops hoard's of bots from little guys to hulks and tanks with ease. Railgun - 1-2 shot any bot, hulk included HMG emplacement - hold the line with this devastating deployment, capable of dispensing 300 rounds of freedom. ( Kills even hulks in the face in just a few shots) 110 mm rocket pods- take care of those pesky tanks! Turret- cover yourself helldiver! Have this turret shred small opponent as you take care of larger threats on the HMG,or to cover as you retreat Guns: diligence sniper, grenade pistol,stuns Sniper for dealing with medium and low units Grenade pistol for groups and fabricator Stuns for 110mm rocket pods and a retreat or lining up a railgun charge Armor - light fortified ( Incase railgun blows up, and for dmg reduction as rocket devastators shoot at you while you use the HMG emplacement
You might be right about the autocannon, but the Orbital Gatling Barrage is 23mm according to the wiki: helldivers.wiki.gg/wiki/Orbital_Gatling_Barrage
Good positioning is always a good practice, regardless of your difficulty. A good spot can be a world of difference in setting up an ambush, moving past a group you can't fight, or get in on the objective to mop up stragglers after an air strike.

To be fair, meeting people in super helldive usually work together well. I always end up running bug breach clear (napalm eagle/ gas strike) with spear for heavies. Just finished 2 ops in super helldive with just randoms 😂❤ Now for the bots.... HELL NAH 😂😂😂
New med armor penitratring flamer is great in pairs did a super dive and another teammate had similar set up and we were a lil pyro crew cooking bugs a la carte
I love the new chargers, but a bunch of times it has just one shotted me out of nowhere. I'm chilling & bam I'm 30 feet in the air with a tentacle stabbed through my chest, so I don't know. Went through my chest and suspended me in the air for maybe 3 to 5 seconds and flung my dead corpse across the map. They look pretty deadly to me.
So much of helldiver youtube content lately has just been whining about every possible miniscule thing about the game. Like the people whose channels were made by it frequently seem like they dont even like it. But not commisar kai. This man just loves liberty.
Hey Kai, found your channel recently, been loving it, but I was wondering if you had any tips for leveling up. I’m only level 12 now (highest difficulty is 6, but I struggle there), and the more powerful stuff like the Spear is still locked to me.
at 14:52 I think you died from the Impaler. I have had it were several of the tentacles spawned under me and killed me and you can see while you are flying in there air that they spawned just under you.
Hey Kai! I've been messing around with really odd combinations with Loadouts on the lower difficulties like Challenging and Hard, and I found one that I want to know if you think it would work on the Higher Difficulties. I ran the Breaker S&P, Verdict, any grenade you feel compliments the unit, either MG or HMG, Liberator Guard Dog, and then the last two stratagems can again be whatever you feel compliments the unit. This loadout worked shockingly well on a solo-Challenging dive and I was wondering your input on if this loadout could serve a full squad on a higher difficulty?
Idk. Light armor with shield seems best. I normally avoid any fights where possible. When I can’t I will lure them away and circle back. Most of the time I can outrun them.
I'll do you one better helldiver. I'm gonna be taking a bunch of people who never played helldive into a super helldive mission, and I'll be clearing the way with the trusty flamer.
@@Spartan7081I did it yesterday, it’s super fun with the flamer, it can cook the impalers too since they are so tall, you can just shoot under the armor
@Rocket_Devastator Yeah I tried it, it was a little better against chargers than I thought it'd be. Stun grenade, then flame to the butt and it'll die decently quick. I still think it's not a good weapon for high diff play unless you have a good team
No. They are also in difficulty 7,8 and 9. Only thing here that you won’t see on the other difficulties is the super nest on the terminid side and the fortress bases on the automaton side
@@hipknotiq Oh I didn’t know. I typically run helldive with my squad so we get plenty of every enemy. We played super helldive but aside from the challenge there isn’t really any incentive to play it. Like it would be nice if they gave us something for it but only some extra samples in my opinion it isn’t worth it.
Any one have any Brash Tactics to kill bugs which have burrowed? Everything in our arsenal is unable to penetrate the ground. (failed a Flag Raising op because there were 2 burrowed enemies which refused to surface)
Really whatever feels best for you. I didn't end up using my sidearm much in this one since the blitzer has unlimited ammo, so I think it would be more of a comfort choice. I took the bushwacker specifically as insurance against stalkers, but didn't end up needing it much.
I really like this comment. Sure, I'm a little peeved that they keep nerfing the good weapons. But sometimes there's a lot of fun laying waste to our enemies on nothing but pure, unadulterated rage and tenacity. Honestly, I barely felt the incendiary breaker nerf and still use it regularly to soften up baddies for my team to mop up. (That's not saying I don't rack up some good kill streaks myself.)

Pretty sure the orbital barrage and autocannon use 20mm, not 23mm. 23mm is like, russian AA weapons only.

The impailers arm has a hook on it and it can fling you sky high only happens occasionally though it has to grab you a certain way

They spawn down to 6. I run 6s with my little brother and step-dad, and we've seen plenty tentacles.
