The flat by the mile pay and dispatch is setting drivers up to fail...
    Let me guess $1.05 a mile + $0.20 a mile FSC...
    2500 miles a week
    $3125 gross
truck payment and fixed expenses $800 (being Kind)
    Maintenance probably $0.10 a mile so $250
    Fuel at 7.5 MPG and $3.45 a gallon $1150
Total to driver $925 or $0.37 a mile
Not to mention you have to hope and pray to get miles. Dispatchers leave you for days happens all the time at all companies who dispatch.

      Hey Carl,
Our LP driver pay is $1.16-$1.21/mile + 100% FSC.
Most drivers average around 2500-3000 miles per week, and most drivers bring home $1,800-$2,000/week after expenses have been taken out.
At 2,800 miles, the truck payment would be $738 for the fixed payment option and about $862 for the variable payment option which is pay per mile driven. Drivers select whichever payment option better suites their needs and goals.
Insurance is roughly $90-$120 a week.
Our full-service maintenance plan is either $0.10/mile or $.12/mile.
After all revenue and expenses are taken, that take home pay/profit would be $1,863.82 with the fixed option and $1,739.42 with the variable option.
Our priority is to help our drivers find their success as they define it. There’s no way to help a driver succeed if you are spending time sabotaging them. We don’t stand for that behavior. If you’ve got goals, we’d be happy to discuss them with you and see how we can help you achieve them

@@RTITrucking So that is about $0.47 to $0.52 a mile. Less than many company driver positions and none of the risk or expenses when take time off. Paying on a truck where you can terminate lease at ANY time rinse and repeat.

      Hey there Carl,
Our Company Driver pay is $0.55/mile for OTR and starts at $0.60/mile for most of our dedicated accounts. We also have PTO, 401k, and benefit options for our company drivers.
The purpose of Lease Purchase is to work towards full truck ownership. We offer the fixed or variable payment options to give drivers the choice to pick which plan will fit their goals and lifestyle best. At the heart of their goal though regardless of the payment option is that they are wanting own that truck one day. Being a full owner operator is a big job and opens ups tons of wonderful opportunities. It isn’t for everyone and not every driver has the intended goal of becoming an owner op. With our program drivers work towards truck ownership while still bringing home decent pay. Many trucking companies don’t even allow that. They’ll tack on hidden fees or are not fully transparent.
You have your opinions and goals. We wish you lots of success and safety while working towards achieving them. Our lease purchase program may not be a good fit for you and your goals, but it has helped many drivers reach their goals of owning that truck title and having the freedom to be an owner op, and we are very proud of that.

Do you own the truck after the lease ends ? No why not?

Good morning Ricardo! For our 2019-2021 trucks you would own them after the lease is paid, however there may be situations where there is a balloon payment for 2022 trucks!
