I'm a Ugandan from Gulu, living in uk I LOVE Jinja city since I was a child. Gulu and Jinja are my two favorite cities in Uganda. I'm planing to relocate to Jinja, my uncle use to live in Jinja and we use to travel to visit him.
I live in England, but I worked in Jinja for a while in 1990 installing machinery brought over from the UK. The Chillington tool company (Crocodile Brand) was located right on the edge of Lake Victoria, the Ugandan engineers I worked with were great guys and very skilled. I often wonder if the factory is still there and how Alex (the works engineer) is doing.
Hello. Ohh glad to hear that. Hope you will be back to Uganda 🇺🇬. I think the factory is still there. Because I was not able to film it. But Njija city has many factories. New and old ones are still there. Thanks for watching us from UK. My Greetings to your family.
I’m Saudi and I hope to visit jinja this week but my flight to Entebbe and I don’t know how to travil to Jinja . Can u help me with best transport options?
They should focus on cleanliness. The roads are well paved but brown in colour instead of grey. All streets are littered with dirt. Otherwise it's a beautiful place.
Thabk you so much for your advice. Yess some African roads are not really clean. But they need to be maintained. I hope the government of Uganda will see your message. Once again thanks for your kind support 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@HunsTheExplorer Great! I've been watching all these YT videos of Jinja and it's making me want to visit. Do you think December is a good time weather wise?
