    Hi again,
    Why does your object browser throughout this tutorial say that you are on Fabrics settings in property editor, while you are configuring the Graphics properties?
    Also, I had issues when changing the colour of the ‘disp logo png’, in the 3D window it would change, but in the Render Window it would stay black. Even when adding this .png initially, there was no white background in the render. In the 2D window afterwards, the colour was as I chose it to be, but not while in the Render.
    Thank you!

      Hi.
      The fabric Tab is selected because this was made in a previous version of CLO where there was no Graphics Tab. So you just used the Transform Graphics Tool previously to select the graphics. In the newer releases CLO will change over to the Graphics Tab
      For the Logo when you are in the Render Engine are you making sure That Interactive Render is turned on (looks like a play button)? If Stop is selected you will not see the color changes

      @@CLO3D thank you! The issue with logo colour was fixed once I pressed Play Render, but it was not updating while I was changing the colour and editing in Interactive Render. Is there a reason for that?

    I don’t know if your going to reply back but I need some help if you don’t mind. So I bought some zbj.file soccer kit and I’m having a problem, i first design 2d kit in photoshop jersey mockup then I wanted to transfer to clo3d for high resolution material that look like cotton fabric.
    Q2. I want to render highest quality possible but kit looks like it’s not real material and I don’t know what to do.
    Q3. I want the jersey to look like it’s not fitted well I want crooked a bit.
    Q4. How can I apply a hanger? Do I have to buy a hanger ?

      Hi. We are always happy to help. But these are quite a few questions and might be easier to understand with visuals. I recommend reposting to either our Community Forums or official Discord channel. but will start to answe below
      Q1 - For the Graphics you will need to export just the Graphic as a PNG from PS and then apply in CLO. Which is what this video show
      Q2 - You need to choose a Fabric in the CLO library or look on the CLO CONNECT store. These will include fabric physics and texture. Or you can use the physics and apply other Textures./Maps to your fabric that match more closely to your IRL fabric. This is covered in an earlier video from the beginner series - ua-cam.com/video/LFtPds-QAWk/v-deo.html
      Q3 - This comes down to pattern making. You will need to adjust your pattern and then style/simulate it how you want it to sit on the avatar
      Q4 - There are already hangers available in the CLO library under the section labeled Hanger
      If you are new to CLO we recommend going through this entire series or out CLO Udemy series (ua-cam.com/video/5KEMiaBU8-k/v-deo.html) to first learn the foundations of CLO. Then star to create and grow your skills

    Hi, when I try to do it with mine, the logo isn't raised up from the garment properly so it falls to the floor as it isn't attached to the actual clothing I'm using. What is the way of fixing this? Also my logo is letter based.

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  Рік тому

      Hi Ian
      When adding a graphic it should be added to the main pattern piece using the graphics tool (Looks like a Tiny Tee on the Tool bar). It sounds like might be making a separate pattern piece which would act more like a patch and would then need to be sewn to the garment (otherwise it would fall to the floor once Simulation is turned on like you describe)
      For the Graphic to then be raised up you will need to apply to proper Displacement Maps to the Graphic. Important to note that Graphic Displacement Maps will only be visible in the Render Window and not the 3D window.
      We suggest taking a look at the video a little slower and step by step to see what you may have missed. But if you have more questions and want to share visuals check out our official Discord :)

Please teach how to extend the graphic from one pattern to the other, for instance, the graphic is on the side seam, half the graphic is on the front pattern and the other half is on the back pattern, how I accomplished that effect other then place the same graphic twice and try my best to line them.

    Importing the graphic in this tutorial, or doing any kind of scaling, moving, editing on the graphic takes as much as 7 seconds per move! It's unbearably slow. There are other things also that are unbelievably slow, but is this really what this software is always like? I have a brand new PC with 32 gigs of ram, 12 core processor, and the exact highest recommended video card by as recommended by Clo3D website. The problem really shouldn't be the PC.

    Howdy. How do i get a graphic to overlap a seam to show on either side? for example down the underarm where the front and back of the garment are stitched. Thankyou.

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  4 роки тому +3

      As of now to have a graphic go over seam work you do have to put the graphic on both or all pieces/patterns that make up the seam and then do some alignment. Once a graphic is placed you can copy and paste it to other pieces
      Tips:
      1. Use Edit Graphic tool in the 3D window because you can see the image move live/instantly. Makes alignment easy.
      2. If you have a place where you can create the seam AFTER you place the graphic down, you can cut and sew after graphic is placed and it will duplicate and align on each pattern and you will not have to manually apply and align.
      3. If you have a location you can temporarily merge, then place graphic, and then cut and sew to separate seam again this is also a quick way to eliminate manual alignment
      4. Areas where two curved seams with shaping are sewn together such as armholes and darts/princess type seams will be a little trickier because the image will not have a perfect alignment location at the seams. In real life this occurs when the graphic is applied after the garment is sewn which makes it easy to conform to curved fabric area. Here since we have to depend on 2D it's a little limited. This will likely be improved in future releases though :)
      If you have any questions about the Merging or Cutting and Sewing I refer to please check out this video:, ua-cam.com/video/2txgDjHsXIc/v-deo.html
