    Sry to necro the comments thread but with scratchpad if you click the box on the bottom of it then click LL it will copy the current map pointer location co-odrs both L\L and MGRS automatically to the pad saving you entering them manually. Great video and tutorials btw.

    Thank you so much! It helped me a lot.
    I started to use markpoints instead of waypoints. There is a markpoint button at the bottom of CDU panel. Abbreviated as "MK". Working same as creating waypoints. The main difference is you can see your markpoints in only MISSION page. Not FLIGHT PLAN or MARK in steerpoint page selection.

    That little mod you have will come so much in handy in VR when you do missions in the A-10C II or any Flight model for that matter, due to the fact that you can't write co-ordinates down without taking your vr goggles off to put it into the cdu at your own pace after the readback to the jtac. Thank you for this video, liked it :)

    But one problem that I Have is, that a JTAC only gives me 6 MGRS digits

    • @TorniQuetHD
      @TorniQuetHD  3 роки тому

      You can enter 6 digit MGRS, it will still go in, just not as accurate

      @@TorniQuetHD yeah i just realised it by myself a few hours ago. The problem why I was searching for vids and other shit to help me was, that I entered the cords but I created points 100 of miles away from the target so I thought I did something wrong like forgetting the 0 when entering east longitude

    How can you slave the TGP to a waypoint, that would be handy when it’s hard to visually see a target or the target position is known before takeoff.

    • @TorniQuetHD
      @TorniQuetHD  2 роки тому

      Ooooooof it’s been a hot minute since I’ve flown the hog but from memory you need to make your waypoint SOI and then press china hat FWD long to slew your sensors to the SOI 😅😅 that’s off the top of my head though so may not be the way to do it also. Give it a crack and let me know

      @@TorniQuetHD Your memory is good! I think DMS or TMS up long (up arrow) to make the TGP point the SPI, then China up long (V key) to slave.
