@croquet94 yeah, i have the same question, and also the spacing of the keys on the keyboard is very small cuz all the keys are very close to each other
I already got the bold and I love it. I don't have my box for the iPhone, I just accepted the fact that its gone haha. This bold is wayy better than the iPhone, I don't miss it at all. The iPhone is out in the snow somewhere.

So i just brought my BB last week and after downloading desktop manager the lock button don't work like before. Now when I press the lock button, it uses the keyboard lock it goes all black like standby. And when i press the standby button it does nothing? Any way to change this back? I have it set for password lock when I holster it, but would like the lock button to do the same (as it used to). I'm new at blackberry's so i really hope someone can help me out (;

im a 13 year old boy and i really want a phone for texting, web browsing, long battery life, youtube, facebook, and loottsss of media (music, videos...). ive had an iphone 3gs since february and now it is starting to fail (eg it freezes, apps wont work well), so i wanna change it. do you reccomend the bold 9700 for me? i really like it. and btw what apps does the blackberry have and how does the appstore work? is it the same system as on the iphone?
I dont know but youre not the only person on youtube that i've seen considering switching from a full touchscreen to blackberry. Just when you think the world is going all touchscreen you see many people now switching to BB. (from android too)

100 usd and yeah it is real. Here in Canada they give you deals if you sign contracts with them, which is what I had to do. If you're looking into getting a phone get the 9700, best phone I've ever had.

this is 1000000 times better =) more expensive obviously, but if quality is what u want, the 9700 is the way to go. it's actually the best blackberry phone out there... hands down

I own both this device and the iPhone 3GS 32GB. Nothing beats the Safari browser for web browsing, but iPhone sucks for multi-tasking. The only thing the 9700 needs is a better browser.
@janreb22 I had the curve 3g and now i have the bold 9700 and the only real difference that i noticed is that the bolds camera has flash lol(of course the bold has better battery life and little stuff like that) but if you mind no flash just get the curve 3g and save some money.
Watch the signal bars from 6:50 to 7:03. They go down as the reviewer grips the phone. So why did Senator Schumer demand a fix from Apple but not Blackberry? (He should be focusing on other things in the first place!) Also, why did Apple get such a rap from large media outlets, but others didn't?
I love my droid but I used to have a pearl and love blackberry's unmatched quality and exclusivity. But my next phone will probally be another android.
@Xonah It doesn't beat the Iphone :)! In this case you can't really compare the Iphone 3GS with the Blackberry 9700 :). If you know a lot of people with blackberry, devices you may get the blackberry. Yet, if you do not know a lot of people with blackberries, I highly recommend the iPhone :)! Iphone 3GS is a way better phone :)
