Wow, thanks a lot for winning this amazing piece of gear @Thomann Synthesizers!
In your description it says that the giveaway runs till the 8th of march, i just sent it to a few friends :( congratulations to djchemie though :)
Hey, we are two dissonant witches from berlin and we'd love to use the feedback communicator patch bay of the Softpop2 to make a glitchy noisy hell on earth, live and in the studio!
Hey everyone, unfortunately our giveaway fell victim to a spam bot. Something like this is not uncommon on YouTub and of course we are trying to take action against it. Some of you might have received a message/comment from “Thomann Telegram” or a similar accounts - these are not real. The giveaway is still running until tomorrow evening. The winner will be nominated by us, pinned under this video and contacted.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the confusion!
Your Thomann Synth Team
You'll have to start using words like GlVEAWAY to the bots can't scan for the GLVE part of it
I have been eyeing one of these for a long time, sounds extremely versatile and gnarly as well.
Already following both channels for a long time, really looking forward into making inspiring sounds with this semi modular beauty 😍
I could use this pup for getting a hands on start with modular synths. :) Sounds like it would make a great addition to beats and ambient tracks alike.
Never heard of this synth before but this short demo instantly made me obsessed with it ! Would be an amazing first path into the modular world for me and great addition to my live set up. Fingers crossed 🤞
Nice portable bit of kit! This would be perfect for some outdoor patching this summer!
Such a powerful and fun instrument. Being able to create so diverse sounds within the same analog piece is what I am always looking thinking about LiveActs would even use several at the same time!!!!
I’ve starting composing recently and I would really like to try new sounds!
Love the sound and simple format of the soft pop! Also the possibility to go experimental with the textures really intrigues me. Good luck
Damn this little box sounds awesome on it's own. Just for fiddling the knobs and faders while creating different soundscapes. Lovely thing.
Played on it many times and been really close on buying it. Love the formfactor and the bubbles!
I've been tinkering with several semi-modular synths off and on for a year now and I continually find them fascinating. I have a Bastl Kastle 1.5 and I think it would pair nicely with the Softpop2 in coming up with some experimental electronic music.
I love the explorative level while being such a nice sounding synth, packed into this formfactor. I would just love to have this!
I need this small synth
to stick the plik in the plok
to get bleep and blop
- Hope you enjoyed this masterfully crafted haiku. But i would honestly love to mess around with the patchbay for hours on end.
I could really use it very well for my more athmospheric works in theater. Thanks for the chance!
I can imagine using this little guy to create crazy cross-modulation tones. Recording them and then using the samples to create banging tunes. Thanks for everything Thomann.
Beautiful and fun - that's how it looks. Bravo, Bastl
I love the 37-point patchbay where you can just dive into the modulation madness!
I need more semi modular sounds and interactivity. I would get so much joy out of this piece.
This has been on my list for a while. This is for sure one of the better demos I’ve seen. Would love to add to my Moog semi modular setup. The sequencer would be a great asset.
Great modular synthetyser ! Beautiful sounds and faders are cool 👍
As a big fan of synths ive been exploring only vsts but to physically manipulate the sound must be awesome
It sounds amazing! I’ve started producing music 3 years ago and it would be incredible to have this incredible tool to start exploring modular synthesizers! Thanks for all the content you make! It really inspires me to explore new possibilities of music production!
I've explored some semi modular synthesis. Bastl has been putting out some fantastically inspiring bits of gear. I like many others could always do with a bit more inspiration. Thanks!
I need it to perform audiovisual synthesis live!!! 🎉
Because the SP II is a real one of a kind module, great for improvisation, sound exploration and live performance. Looks great as well.
I love the organic feel to this🌀 I would love this as I’m trying to build a live set with more modular this year and think this would be the perfect fit!
This sounds wild , love the glitchiness of it and it's wide range ✨️
Gorgeous device, no further explanation needed!
don't we all need a Softpop2?! would be a perfect addition to my studio. thank you & fingers crossed!
Would be so happy to have this and finally get into some modular stuff! The size is also amazing!! 🤞🤞
I love the minimalistic feel when i experiment with sounds in my studio. I have been struggling to find something in this size which features a sequencer, and I feel like this is exactly what I need to explore and find those melodies and rhythms that I simply cannot reach by only relying on my mediocre skills playing instruments. This is going to improve the quality of my happy little creative moments and also my life.
Everything Bastl makes is subtly incredible. They always manage to go a step beyond expectations. Always pushing music forward !
I already used the first generation of the softpop and it‘s my favourite tool. Really looking forward to check out the improvements on this
I have started modular since two weeks now, and understant that this synthesiser would be perfect to pair with the modules I have allready installed.
Such a versatile synth!! Perfect to sound with my modular setup ❤
That looks like a great pair to my drum machine to finally get a physical semi modular to get more into sound design far away from a computer screen! I have been thinking of getting into physical modular to get away from plugins and digital versions of modular, and this is a great start!
Beautiful synth, it should be great to have it in the set-up!
I have just invested in a five-month-long modular synthesizer course with Modular Moon in Amsterdam. And this competition was shared on their Instagram. I don’t yet own a synthesizer but I would love for this to be my first one to get me going on this incredible electronic journey I am embarking on.
it's super versatile bringing lot's of joy anywhere you are on the planet, on the road, on the train... :)
Perfect footprint combined with lots of controls and wonderful sound :)
We really hope we will win this one.
I once watched a demo of this and they made it sound like a forest/rain ambient natural sound so yes, would love it. I love soft form synths too, keeping my gear small.
Always been curious about the Soft Pop since the 1st one, this looks like something I would use portably alongside smaller euro systems.
I've recently got into synthesizers. I love the look and sound of the softpop2. It seems an extremely powerful machine!
Because I love your modules and this compact SOFTPOP 2 would be perfect for my travels and business trips, because carrying an eurorack case is complicated.
Total honesty, no sugarcoating, I'm really looking to improve my chops in synthesis and I'd be so grateful to have this to start with.
This is a dynamic piece of gear. For someone who does ambient is a nice flexible intuitive and inspiring instrument
This has my very curious to hear more from Bastl. Been building the new spot for two years, and sure want to get fiddly with some knobs instead! Fingers crossed/braided ❤
I have been eyeing the softpop since version 1 and this one looks so great!! If I get it I’m gonna try to see what kind of weird effects the LED gives when recording video up close👀
Softpop2 sounds and looks like a whole lot of fun. A perfect gateway into modular; Can't wait to get my hands on one!
Yes please! I love little synths with a unique workflow. I’ve been lusting for a Softpop II for a while now!
Sounds nice for experimental stuff
I’ve always kept this synth in the back of my mind since it was released, i love the dark and glitchy leads and arps that can come out of it.
It seems all my best inspiration lately has come from instruments like this and all the Kastles.
Love it! Would be amazing to have it and use it to create sound for performances or experimental films.
Always watched from afar and really wanted to try one out!!
Lovely sounds! I would love to have it on my set up!!!!
looks like a fun little box to experiment with
Well, I have been thinking for a while trying modular, so this would be perfect for a first piece to see if I enjoy the worflow.
From time to time I try out new instruments and tech. A modular synth would be again something new to learn.
I think this could be a perfect companion and sound bridge between my subharmonicon and my modular system. really curious to explore it ad cross modulate it.
great job ❤️
I’ve wanted one since the first iteration, dying to try out its sequencer!
I don't know much about modular synthesizers but this seems like the perfect entrypoint and it looks and sounds so nice!!
Always been a Bastl super fan - no additional subscriptions needed 😅, followed their drops for time! - this would be such an awesome art piece to experience first hand. Much love
Looks like a really original architecture where you can create some interesting sounds
I want this beautiful device so long (it is on my wishlist on Thomann), but don't have the money to buy it !
Good luck to all ! 😊🎉
Pretty powerful sounds... send 3 please! 😅😁 I'd love to see how this and the other semimodular I own would get on with each other.
The Softpop2 would be a lovely addition for my techno/ambient production!
It’s fantastic that you are giving away this synth. I’ve been hooked to watching content featuring it since it came out, and I would love to have it and pair it with my EP 133 and Bastl Kastle.
Thanks for giving me the oportunity to win it!
It just sounds really awesome.
I've always wanted to try modular synthesis and I feel like this synth could be the right choice to start.
i like its size, you can fit it in a bag like nothing, and it sounds really nice
I have been such a fan of Bastl, for years, and have the Kastl, Kastl Drum and the Dude. I would love to incorporate this synth into the mix so that I have a more complete sound palette. Thank you for creating such great products!
it seems to be very special , innovative , amongst the semimodular/monophonic/analogs, digitally controlled, compact, luminous, to be connected to sequencer, controller, other synths. Thank you. hope not too late to enter the contest
playing with this could be really inspiring! seems like you can get so much out of it, both lush and gritty
I've been interested in modular synths for a while... it looks like a great place to start. very cool sound also
Big fan of Bastl Instruments, love their modular range and had my eyes on this one more than once!
I’m super interested in modular/semi modular synthesis, the idea of moving patch cables around to create new atmospheres seems fun!
I need to make a soundtrack for my dreams.
Sounds awesome! Would be a pleasure to get my hands on this for sonic experimentation, good luck everyone! :)
Looks like a great synth to add to my setup! Could make some real AFX sounds with that! Cheers!
Subscribed to both channels for quite some time. I’d love to add one of these to my studio to create experimental sounds/fx.
The softpop has been on my radar for years. When version 2 got out it was really exiting. I'm very much interrested in it as filter for external sound and as a midi controlled synth. I would really love to have one! but can't invest a lot in gear. It would be a nice addition for more sound exploration.
Thanks for doing this giveaway, the Softpop2 looks like a great device to get into modular synths with! I’d love to finally own an actual synth, would be a big upgrade from digital apps. 😄
I like the sounds of this little device and the form factor of the Softpop2 is also pretty nice. I would love to make some cool drone sounds with it.
I've always wanted to learn more about modular synths. This would be fun to add to my pocket operator, volca, and dude mixer setup.
Have been looking at this one for a while and would love get my hands on one some day. Maybe luck is on my side in this one.
I have been making music for 15 years and I have never owned any modular synths. I've been looking at taking the plunge for a while now. This would be a great and powerful bit of kit to open my eyes to the world of external wiring.
I would love to have one of those for these glitchey wild tones!
Ooh, a SoftPop2! This is on my "dream wish list" I'll possibly never own, but it would be pretty amazing to grab one eventually because of how rich it can sound! I'm inching towards building a minimal viable modular setup right now that can do both ambient and party jamming, so versatile modules and semi modulars are the priority.
And since Bastl Instruments will read this comment: Thank you for the amazing work you put out, we all love it!
And thank you Thomann for the giveaway!
would really love to have this synth. a device like this can help me dive into more modular design which I have been very anticipated to delve into since I first ever discovered what synths even are. The sound generated by the soft pop also is quite experimental in some cases which allow me to work with it more.
I really love the design and versatility od the SoftPop, the options in various sounds and themes are practically endless. When I watch the demos people make with this thing, it always makes me wonder how GORGEOUS this beast is. I've bought myself a Korg volca modular since I wanted to make some ambient drone, and, even tho the machine is also nice, I've struggled to make something more dreamy and ambient because somehow I always managed to make it into harsh noisy drone - which isn't necessarily bad BUT I want to explore the ambient parts of electronic music, and I believe I finally could do that with the Softpop 2. What Bastl does to the Czech synth and electronics scene is just awesome and I really admire their work
Lastly, I'd just like to say that it's awesome that you make giveaways like these! It's a great way to get these awesome machines to let's say high school students like myself haha
This sounds amazing, would fit in my small beginners modular system just perfectly, sonically that is. Thank you 💋 ❤
Winning the Softpop SP2 would be a great reason to finally give in to my modular synth obsession, one beep and boop at a time :)
I only very recently started getting into synthesizers and would love to dive into the semi-modular world of synthesis too. I‘d like to create some ambient drone- and noise-textures to overlay them with spoken word. This synthesizer would be great!
I started (semi)modular with a model D during end of 2019 after 5 o 6 years thinking about it. Since then I've been wanting to get fully into it but holding due to the expense, maybe getting this one is the little push I need to go mad full in. I just love the flexibility and hands on experience it gives me right now, would be awesome building my own system of modules....
I love the flexibility and compactness for studio or live purposes
It just seems like the perfect fit for me. In terms of sound, size, possibilities of Eurorack integration and design ❤
