Great comparison. I've wanted to see the 88GR because I wear Athena in 26GR and was interested. You hit the nail on the head with the 26Gr when you said it was more of a yellow golden blonde so it avoids that glaring gold you can sometimes see in something like Creamy Toffee R (although I recently bought that color in Avery and it is so much less gold and so beautiful). I personally love 26GR. The yellow gold keeps it sunny and not harshly gold. There is no brown to muddy the color. and I know some people like that kind of brown running through their blondes (like the 12FS8), but I like a clear looking blonde without a darker nape. I know now from your review I would not like the 88GR. It's so pretty, yet not for me. I found that out by trying Sugar Cane R - so pretty but it's too faded a look for me. I think of 26GR as a perfect blonde - a bit of sunshine, light yet not washed out, and vibrant without looking cheap or gaudy. It is gorgeous. On my monitor on this video, it looks lighter than it does in person.

@@heywigsister I'm so glad! I love helping wig sisters and getting their help! These little nuances, which is why I always read the comments on wig reviews. There are pearls of wisdom you don't expect from other wig wearers.

Great review....Jules is aaahhdorable, and looks like she was made for you, Denise.
I have her in several different shades. My first one was in 26H, (no root, as I was new to wigs & not comfortable with rooting). Found it to be a beautiful color, but once I got brave enough to step into rooted pieces, the 26GR was even prettier, imo. Then, I took the leap into the 88GR, and found the richer dimension very appealing. It was warmer and I loved the kinda subtle red mixed in there, as well as the lowlights.
As my wig journey continued, I became more comfortable with more depth & dimension. Loved Jules, so bought her in 10/613GR.....more of an ashy, cool tone, imo, and gorgeous.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these HM blondes.
They have truly amazing, beautiful shades.
I was born a blonde, then my hair turned medium brunette by high school.
As a woman of a "certain age ", I have found the above mentioned blonde shades all still wearable and believable.

Great color comparison. My friend just walked behind me and looked at my computer and said, "Who's that? She's very pretty." If that's not confirmation that that color looks great on you, I don't know what is! 🙂

Wow, you always have the exact videos I need. I am a brunette; your comments and suggestions are dead-on. thanks for all your work. I love HM 8/27/26gr, but looking for a lighter color. I think 88gr would be nice because it’s more warm. Like both colors.

Very interesting! One colour is def cooler than the other, the 26GR is almost platinum to my eye. Is there any platinum in it? Thanks again, love your comparisons.

This is so helpful! I just received Jules in 10/613GR. I have cool toned skin. However, the color just washes me out. Maybe 26GR would have been a better choice. Thank you!

Very helpful. Just going by progression of color numbers, I would assume 26 is warmer than 88. Can you do a color categories vid that fills in this color category numbering knowledge gap? 🙏
