Robert Herjavec is the only guy i have seen on shark tank who seems to be learning and investing at the same time. He isnt shy to admit that he is trying to learn from others while investing. Despite his success he still tries to learn something new everyday. Amazing person.

Nobody can suddenly become prosperous financially. Although they did the background work, we mostly see the ultimate product. Fear is a harmful factor that prevents us from making the courageous decisions we need to make in order to achieve our goals. You have to deal with things like inflation, the recession, Fed policies, and more. In just a few months, I was able to add $289k to my portfolio.

    • @brucemichelle5689.
      @brucemichelle5689. 27 днів тому +3

I think it's not always about fear, Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value

    • @carssimplified2195

This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the stock market try investing by themselves. It once happened to me, then I learned my lesson and contacted a US-based finance consultant my financial advisor…. and everything changed. in the first quarter of last year i made $370k and counting

I've been watching Shark Tank for as long as it's been on air. You can see that each one of the sharks is unique in their own way. Mark is a brilliant businessman, and in my opinion the most observant one. He's harsh sometimes, but always a gentleman. But what I love about Robert is that he's always nice. And even when he's upset or irritated from a pitch or something, he keeps a smile on his face. Wonderful video! Great value. Thanks for sharing.

    2) Know when to sell the Company
    - When you have no more interest in running your company then sell
-When you think you have reached your peak of earning in your business then sell
    - When that money you get by selling changes your life in a huge positive way then sell
    Else NO

Thank you for sharing these! I'm 25 and the CEO of a company worth millions. I worked hard to get this at the cost of friends, family and hobbies. I thought money and title would make me happy, but it didn't as I saw life passing by me... I decided to resign and so next week marks the end for now. I appreciate the knowledge and experience I gained, but the most important thing for me right now is TIME. I want to "spend" it with my parents (they are old), I want to travel, collect memories and enjoy life before I'm tangled with more responsibility. I will come back stronger and fresher. There's always another opportunity, but YOU CAN'T BRING BACK TIME, MAKE IT COUNT!

Thanks for this. I'm lower mid 30s who started working at 14, climbed the company ladder and bought my first house when i was 20. Started my first business while also investing in my late teens and sold my first business to pay off my mortgage at 26 years old. I've had a successful second business and have a few income properties while also continuing other investments. I have a car and truck that are modest and paid off. I don't wear expensive clothing. I don't wear jewelry besides my wedding band. I don't consider myself rich but im comfortable. I don't need a bigger house but I have bought more land around my house. I have learned that enjoying life is my #1 priority and I'm lucky to enjoy the work I do. My mother joking asks me why I dress like I'm poor and I give the same answer Mark did and I find that rather funny. This was a great video Robert.

Thanks, this is so useful. Especially point 2. Here's my expanded notes...
    1. Beware the man in the tshirt, not the suit
    2. Expect to win, always. “It will work out.” (see the book “Burn the boats”)
There is no retreat. He always expects to win. Don’t protect your downside.
Don’t hope for an outcome, expect an outcome.
    3. The bigger you get, the bigger the bullseye on your back. “The most competitive sport in the world is business.” Work your ass off every day as if someone is trying to take it away from you, because you know what, SOMEONE IS!
    4. Time kills all deals.
    5. There is no greatness without great purpose. Why are you working so hard? Two airplanes are better than one.
    6. The right and wrong time to sell a business. There are only 3 reasons to sell your business. 1, if you believe you don’t want to do it any more.
(because if you don’t want to do it any more someone’s going to wake up and do it better than you)
2, if you believe you’ve maxed out on the opportunity
3, if the money will fundamentally change your life
    7. Time is more important than money. Today is the youngest you’re ever going to be so start now. Time is the great equalizer. Look at your day. Plan your day. Make the most of your day every day!
    8. Once everyone knows the answer the opportunity is probably gone. You cannot be afraid to be wrong.
    9. There are no participation trophies in life. Trophies are only for winners! All billionaires are highly competitive. Mark Cuban JUST WANTS TO WIN! Business is a competitive sport.
    10. You only need to be right once. “I’ve failed more times than I can remember, but I was right once and sold my company for $6B!” If you don’t like where you’re at, turn the page.
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure with no lack of enthusiasm until you’re right!, and when you’re right, make it big. You only have to do it once.

Thank you for this amazing video!
I consider you one of my mentors.
I came to this amazing country 13 years ago, I didn’t speak the lenguaje, I don’t have a college degree, I didn’t have any family or friend, but I had big dreams.
Thanks god I discovered Shark Tank and I watched every episode several time, it was the ONLY thing that I watched on TV.
You don’t have idea of how much this TV show have changed my life, after 8 years working hard, 3 evictions, one car repossessed and many “failures” I became a millonare at the age of 40. Now I am 45 and I’m a multimillionaire helping other people succeed. Now my children (9 and 8 ) have watched all 15 seasons with me and are growing with a mindset that didn’t have until I was 32.
You have been a blessing to my life and my family.
    God bless you 🙏

Robert, I feel you are the type of guy who would resonate with many of us guys. Maybe make a podcast or something? We need people like you to let us know how to get through life in a way. I can mention Peterson as an example. Not saying I agree with him but I like men that embrace emotions and I always seen you as that guy. Which is not being weak, but not being ashamed of showing your true side. Kinda amazing you've made it all this way with your type of personality which attracts lots of snakes. Anyways, big hugs and you've always been my favorite. -E

"Burn the boat" wasn't a Persian army, it was the Umayyad Arab armies crossing into Spain to fight the Visigoth kingdom. And the story is that the Umayyad leader "Tariq Ibin Zyad" made a speech after he saw that the Visigoth were vastly outnumbering his army, but now it is hard to retreat, so burned the boats and the speech was something like " we have the enemy in front of us, and the sea in our back, now it is victory or death".

Shark tank really did me dirty this year, after months of planning, paperwork and significant expense on my end, they canceled my pitch days before it was scheduled to happen. My equipment was even on set. Something I’ve learned is that people have no problem taking advantage of you if it benefits them. My pitch would have taken a half day to shoot, canceling meant the network could film 2 others instead, which means more $ on their end. I spent money I don’t have. Mistake.
