I was fortunate enough to pick up an LG C1 48" on sale a few months back. Trust me, when you see this game at 4K/Ultra and with HDR enabled on an OLED panel, it will absolutely blow you away. A proper next-gen title. When the RT patch is released, I'm not even sure a 4090 could handle it natively @ 60FPS without some DLSS.
I'm playing on a 4K 65 inch Samsung QD-OLED with a 3080. The fire scenes at night look amazing. I'm playing mainly on High w/ Ultra textures, DLSS Quality (Avg. 60 FPS) and I can't believe how good it looks. I can only imagine what it must look like with a 4090
@@maaax1173 Yeah for sure. also sucks that there's no fsr support yet, amd cards are kinda screwed lol. Nvidias gpus also seem to be relying on dlss a lot to get enjoyable framerates in it. crazy tbh man
@@Kultz Yup, that was surprising to me too. FSR 2.0 is really easy to implement if the game already supports DLSS. I don’t get how that‘s not in the game and I hope it’s coming in the next days or at least in a month or two

Man I would love to see you do a full playthrough of A Plague Tale: Requiem and I would watch the entire thing even though I've already completed the game
This game gets my 3080 12gb on its knees at 1440p!! 65 FPS on average in that intro area, and GPU power even undervolted to 875mv is always close to 340W 🥵 DLSS is a must here honestly for me.
Almost the same. I have it @ 881mv @ 1920MHz but runs usually 15-30 MHz higher if temps are below 67c. So far seems estable in the most demanding games @1935 MHz and temps are always 67-68c max while gaming. I haven't touch the memory because I don't think it's really necessary and I have seen that GDDR6X gets pretty hot and also consumes a lot of power for minimal gains. Control for example is a very sensitive game for me to check overclock stability since it uses a lot of RT effects and it's tougher to run on the GPU, cyberpunk 2077 would be another example.
What I don't like of the game is that for me it looks a little bit blurry or too soft even at max settings on a 1440p monitor, and that was also the case in the first version of the game. I always disable motion blur, but will check if disabling chromatic aberration helps. Or maybe increasing the sharpness via Nvidia control panel. For me DLSS always makes the image a little softer, but in this particular game it looks almost the same with or without DLSS, so better stick to DLSS Quality for better FPS with the 3080 12GB @ 1440p.
18:30 I am getting like 35-40fps here with my 6700xt at 1440p ultra. This game feels like it was solely optimized for rtx 4000 to help the sales and make other gpus look bad
@@zWORMzGaming I have seen that rtx 3080 drops in low 50s at 1440p ultra. The game looks great but man it feels unoptimized. I play at 1440p so high is no go, until i turn dlss at performance. But it's kind of blurry so I turn medium-low on post processing and ultra on texture and dlss on quality, now I can get steady 60+ FPS.
Could you please do some Benchmarks with FPS-Limit@60fps/DLSS Quality/4K - I m really curious about the power-draw in this scenario - cause this would most likely be my settings if i ever own a 4090 .... which is very unlikely 😀
Quick question, why are you using a 60hz monitor with a monster GPU like the 4090? The 4090 is fantastic, I can state that as an owner myself. But I also probably wouldn't have even bothered with a 4090 if I didn't also upgrade my monitor. After all it's not only possible, but likely, to have all your games run at a minimum of 60fps at 4k with everything maxed out. But if you throw in DLSS and/or Frame Generation into the mix it would be odd to not get a minimum of 120fps in most games even at 4k maxed out settings.

I play at 1440p so high is no go, until i turn dlss at performance. But it's kind of blurry so I turn medium-low on post processing and ultra on texture and dlss on quality, now I can get steady 60+ FPS.
@@johnparty3786 hey friend there is no post processing graphic settings, you must have typed the wrong name .
I'm not, it's just the capture card 🙂
Plz start also including 3440x1440p benchmarks :(
It is just middle ground between 1440p and 4K. He can't include every resolution in the world, nobody got time for that.
I want DLSS 3.0 so much
i love seeing lower res with fg and dlss 300fps lol
On other videos can you do 1440 with dlss and fg as well? I have a 4K monitor at 165hz but I mainly use my 1440/240hz monitor
Video 6 of asking Kryzzp for his Afterburner/Rivatur preset✌
Meanwhile me playing this game on gtx 1070 and getting 25-40fps on medium (1440p).. I was really surprised how intensive it is.
I heard something about fsr either trough a mod or a setting I think
@@samoerai6807 I know about that. It's from Nexus Mods and it somehow allows you to use DLSS with any GPU. So I playied with that for a while and I managed to get between 60-70 FPS but still could enjoy the game.
@@kinzie3915 how do I get the mod? Would love to try it!
Thanks to all the rtx 4090 reviews, I might upgrade from an rx 6600 to this! dont know how my 5800x feels about it though, might just purchase a 7950x.
Ah yes..now i will have a good night
😁🤗

Wow nice graphics I like this game
Modern games look more cartoonist these days but pc requirement is pretty high 😆
i got huge fps drops with my 4090 and 7950x3d so dumb, turning around dont feel smooth, you can see it also in this video
