The media lied about rally size throughout the campaign. For Trump, they had close ups of him on stage so it appeared the arenas were small. Hillary, they had the cameras out a little farther to include backs of heads of her supporters, they grouped the small crowds around her stage to give it a look of being larger.

This election had nothing to do with racism, sexism, or any superficial identity. It was about a country led by corrupted politicians to a wrong direction for decades, and the people felt the pain and finally woke up.

Name one policy that Trump has implemented that had a direct affect on employment of minorities, name anything he's done in order to create more jobs. He throws the numbers out there but they've been constant since 2010. He didn't do it, they were already like that. He was supposed to have a replacement for the ACA that would cover everyone and be cheaper day one. Still hasn't done a single thing with healthcare. He reduced taxes for the top 1%, no one else.

I think it's more of a misinterpretation of democracies definition as it pertains to America. One of the key components of democracy in America is individual rights which keep the minority from being overlooked by the majority. Hi, I’m australian, I thought Hillary would win, I wanted Hillary to win. But then she didn’t. I was upset, but no where near what people were whining about. Finally looking at everyone’s overreaction I wanted to know why trump won, why Hillary didn’t and why trump was preferred. Instead of hearing and ignoring I finally listened. Since 2016 my politics have finally formed for me to identify as a libertarian and believe trump can and should win 2020.

I have only participated in three presidential elections, the 2004, 2008, and 2016. I skipped the 2012, but I did vote for Obama in 2008. The 2016 election was the first time I felt good about my vote. I voted for Trump. My family all hates Trump, but don't know that I voted for him. It's awkward at times, like they always scowl when I refer to him as "President Trump". I hope my parents never find my UA-cam comments!
