We are currently harvesting some of our mature Whiteoak trees here on our 5th generation farm in the Missouri Ozarks. A good percentage of it is going to a stave mill where they make some of the finest whiskey barrels in the world. Great interview, and Ill have to try growing some JimmyRed next year for corn meal.

What a great video… and her sending barrels over here to Galveston. Fascinating! I will definitely keep my eye out for that bottle. 🥳

I can't add anything to the other comments, and although I don't imbibe, I love All aspects of Agribusiness, gardening and yes distilling. (Could be my Scottish ancestry) Anyhow, that was one FINE INTERVIEW! Thank you Both!

My favorite part was when she said "How many barrels do I have sittin out in the corn fields. Cause at the end of the day, that's what matters".

Great Interview! A tremendous amount of expertise and knowledge from Doc Brown Farm and Distillers! The only thing I can't seem to find is the name of the person you interviewed in the video... ? I must have missed the introduction and can't seem to see it in the video.
My other question is about the sale of the Bourbon online... is it legal to ship to North Carolina?

Just wanted to know, are tours offered at the distillery to the public? If not that would be a great money maker for them. Just look at the tourist boom in Ky.

Don’t the Tire Company work to resolve his issue or the teams stretching the tires limitations not reducing laps before changing.

I just had a bottle of High Wire Jimmy Red Corn and it smelled of the worst mold musky funk I’ve ever smelled. Then on the pallet it was heavy musky mold that tasted awful.
It so so bad and the mold smell and taste overwhelmed any other flavor notes that could possible come though.
Made me sad because I wanted to love this distillery and resurrection of this strain of corn.
Is this the flavor profile for Jimmy Red corn or did I get a bad batch?
