    Hi Angelo! I'm from Greece. I am grateful for everything you explain. After an absence of 10 years (because of kids), I am returning to graphic design. Thank you so much!

    Sorry, but you missed the main feature of this tool. It allows you to change at the same time all the things that you grabbed from the Content Collector. So, you can update all of them with just one click, as if they were images, through the Link panel.

    Is there a way to use the placer tool to paste into an image frame?

    What's the difference with just copying the objects in place to a new document?

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 роки тому +1

      You certainly could copy/paste assets. The Content Grabber/Placer allows to get from one layout and place in another, with a loaded cursor. It also keeps it in the conveyor below incase you have to reference it again. It just gives you a little more control on placing content. But of course, you can do whatever you're most comfortable with! Same outcome, just another way to get there.

      @@AngeloMontilla Unless you're going to repeatedly use the contents in multiple documents i don't see what benefit this 'feature' has over just copying and pasting.

    • @matteoborelli4953
      @matteoborelli4953 3 роки тому +2

      @@DanTuber Indeed, but there is actually one BIG benefit not covered by the video. You can make all the contents that are linked in this way to change at same time, just modifying the source image and then updating them all, in the same way you do that with the images. You must use this tool together with the Link panel. It is time saving if you use multiple times the same shape or else (even text).

    When i hit B and go to content collector, that panel that pops up for you doesn't happen for me. I never used to have this problem. Do you know how to get that panel back?

      Just found the answer for people wondering: Alt+B makes it appear/disappear

    Hmm does this work with groups?

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Scott! Sure, it'll just collect it as a group. When you place it, it'll still be grouped, but you'll have the option to ungroup from there.

    What to do, if i closed this window in down? :c i can't find how back it...

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  Рік тому

      The easiest way is to just click any other tool and then choose the Content Collector Tool again. This will re-launch the window.
