Container soils should drain rapidly. This makes it essential to distribute water across the entire surface to get uniform soil moisture. One easy and versatile method is the spot sprayer. The spot sprayers also make it easy to know exactly how much water you are applying. This method is very popular with commercial nurseries and for good reason.
