Brent's guitar is what makes this song. I know that bill wrote it but what Brent did with it I think really elevates the song. His solos, his flourishes on the main riff, and the way he closes the song sounds great. It's a mastodon song that works because it seems like everyone shines in some way.
How could anyone listen to this song and not then contend that Mastodon is the best metal band, that they excel as musicians, songwriters, singers. They are superb.

I love Mastodon as much as the next guy, I just find it funny that they always throw Brann under the bus when it comes to vocals. He always sounds pretty good but come on, give the guy a break.

Maybe it's it's my headphones, but Brent is really quiet in the mix.
