Not sure where that highway was , sad to see, was on the east coast 4 years ago . Wonder what Toroko gorge looks like ?

I know bats have memories , they fly from a local cave inland , stop at my pool for a sip or 2 of water around dusk .
When close to the pool am a different pattern , not there for the many nights before . Had one hit the brakes about 300 mm from my face :-) We both got a shock :-)

Great , go green and save the planet :-)
    At what cost ?
    I have panels/batteries , break even 5 or less years . Good sun .
    Storage is the issue .
That said many rooves could have panels , providing for some daytime usage .major cost is batteries . Get panels first .
Have basically been 'off grid ' for 7 months . From summer to winter , as part of my tests , I did have to get power from the grid . 2 days .
Could be a plan for the electricity supplier , rent the space for panels , connect them all , then to the grid :-) Or give a discount for the amount of power generated .

Glad to see them getting rid of dangerous nuclear energy, but instead of fake green technologies like solar and wind power, they should concentrate on building newer stackless generating facilities that have very low pollution and are greatly efficient. It's stupid to abandon the use of fuels that are still plentiful.
