not sure why i'm coming back to this show after 9 years when it wasn't even one i played, but i remember the band that placed first in our division playing this show back in 2012. i have no idea how or why it's stuck with me all these years but listening to it again is making me nostalgic... the piccolo solo in that ballad, man 🥺

Senior year Color Guard. Fun to do, honestly! The music is awesome to listen to. State competition is this weekend, so I'm really glad I can have all three songs in one video. Thank you very much!
This was the show my band was playing during the happiest time of my life. We weren't a big band, and I'd always dreamed of playing in a low brass with the sound like the big bands' low brass. I was section leader that year and we did it at our first comp. I didn't think we'd ever do it. That was awesome.

We played this last year and we got straight 1's the whole season! Second time ever in Tippecanoe High School Marching Band history to get straight 1's! I play trumpet and it was a blast!

my school played this last saturday. I saw that they got a supieior in class b, seccond place overall, and the best purcussion award for the whole contest. I wish I was able to play in maching band this year.

I found this back in 2009 when I made the drumline and this was going to be our show. Listened to this and practiced all summer to get ready, Although they got rid of second movement and heavily modified the 3rd, it was still a gem of a piece and placed 1st at 3 USSBA competitions. Best band year ever for my high school.

The football game on thurs was fun (but extremely warm), even though the team lost 58-6. I remember I clipped my music to the Riley's shoulder in the stands...it worked well. I did the same thing to Drew when we were playing Blazing Saddles on the sidelines and there was a crowd of saxes crowding around him lol.
i'll be a freshman this upcoming school year and we're going to be playing this. I can't wait!!!

My marching band is playing this song this year. I got the only marimba 1 part!!! Plus I am about a year younger then the youngest freshmen this year! Wish me luck cuz I have never memorised music before and now I am a middle schooler in a high school marching band!

I played this song last year for marching band. We played Nightwatch 1 & 2 as well as Adiemus and Cantus - Song of Aeolus. It was really fun. It was actually hard on the clarinet.
My band got 4th in state of Florida with this march. we renamed it THE SPIRIT though. still awesome.
