I'm glad you got an end product you were happy with, but that process sounds like a nightmare! my husband had a photo of my mom turned into a painting a couple years ago and we had a much better experience for a similar price. the piece is actually hand painted and they took some small artistic license that made the overall composition much better. the only issue we had was with our bunny in the corner, but the artist was quick to take our direction and revise. highly recommend as both a service and a gift for a loved one!
I absolutely love that Maybelline Vinyl Lip product, I have the shade Witty too! Great color! I wore it twice before I learned I had to shake it first...gaahhh! I wore it last week at an event, dinner & drinks, and I was amazed at how long it lasted.

I find the ELF powder to be an underrated gem! I use the HD glow one for a radiant finishing look and it is exceptional. So psyched about the Essence palettes too. I love seeing inexpensive drugstore products outperform the more high end brands...although nothing beats my Sydney Grace shadows.

I love the lip vinyl and the way I get rid of the stick is I lick my lips just a little and that makes the sticky feel go away. These are my go to lipstick when I go to work because it lasts my whole shift without fading. Cheeky and Oeachy are my favorite ones so far. I definitely want to get more especially Coy and the red one.
Oooof... they didn't even do it in Kishimoto's art style... as a commission artist (who LOOOOVES anime and especially Naruto) I'm sorry you had that annoyingly complex process, but I'm glad it worked out alright. However, considering I'm an artist, this would be a fun idea to draw for my dad who loves Naruto whose birthday is coming up!

that art is extremely amateur and not worth the astronomical price you paid whatsoever, all they did was trace naruto characters and change some features such as hair color. there are tonnes of freelance artists you can find on deviantart, twitter, tumblr etc that do absolutely amazing digital art, for a lot cheaper than what you paid!
Agreed. As someone who has a drawing background, these look like generic templates that are tweaked, instead of handrawn art. If you pay that much it shouldn't feel/look generic. Just imo. 🤷🏼♀️
2/10 would have been generous I genuinely feel a bit gutted for you. I had a hand painted one for 1/3 of the price 😫also he hand sketched a proof prior to sending the final piece 😬 I’m sure someone would love a sponsorship post to do an improved version xx 😘
I just bought that Maybelline 4 in 1 product a few weeks ago! I have dry to normal skin and it does look beautiful alone or under or even mixed with foundation!

You’re eyeshadow look reminds me of a look you did with the too faced chocolate bon bons palette…. I love the mattes in the better than chocolate, and I’d say half the shimmers are great, and half are duds. The shade, I’m the Dessert, is my favorite lid shade!!! It’s gorgeous! Your look turned out pretty despite being difficult. I got the new bronzer too, I’m the deeper shade, I really like it a lot.
I’ve been obsessed with The Eyeshadow Palette by Cleo Noir in the shade Nude. It doesn’t look like it would be exciting but it’s so pretty on. I have also been using the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette and loving it this month.
Mine is opaque too! Maybe I didn't explain it well. You know how some liquid lipsticks lay on the lips and they look like your lips are painted? This one isn't like that for me. It looks like it's changing my natural lips rather than painting on top of them.
My Maybelline 4-in-1 dries down and flakes…..I used it as a primer. Definitely flakes off when in warm weather around the edges of my face the most. I may try it as a highlighter like you did.
I like the ELF halo glow ether than the CT! That surprised me because the CT was my holy grail! I can use it on its own and get the light coverage I want! Surprised me and I like be the money savings!

My daughter is in her 3rd year at university studying game animation (they do all the art for said game). She would've/can do you a bespoke piece EXACTLY as you want for less than half that you paid. There are 3 artists who live/work together, they all have different styles and are very empathic to personal preferences, ie : non binary, trans, A sexual, gay etc. Mad love to you 💜🧚♀️💜

So many Too Faced products!! I don’t know what it is about the brand, but I’m never drawn to any of their launches. I’ve tried 2 of their products and liked them, but haven’t been motivated to try any of their palettes. The Maybelline 4in1 is one of my favorite new purchases, but I definitely don’t think it lives up to the claims. I use it as a highlighter, and I like that it blurs the skin.
I agree about the 6-pan Essence palettes. I have 5 of them. Of the five, the pink one is my least favourite. I think it could have benefited with a darker/deeper shade. The taupe is at the top and I have backups of it.
Let me preface this by saying I am a HUGE Too Faced tin palette fan, and I own almost all of them. I bought this new palette and returned it the next day. The “new” formula was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! As a neutral palette lover, this appeared to be right up my alley. When I got home from work/Walmart the day I wore this shadow, I was so embarrassed to see I had walked around all day looking like I did. The mattes (that had originally looked just fine) had faded and went patchy, worse on one eye than the other. Did Jarrod take their old formula with him when he left the company? LOL I will probably not ever purchase another palette from them in the future, especially at this price point with their terrible quality.

Just wanted to chime in that the new top faces bronzer does come in 1 darker shade, caramel cocoa! It may still be too light for very deep tones but in case some one was interested in it. And I was surprised by the comments o.my the maybelline vinyl product! I have been wearing peachy for 8-9 shifts at work with eating lunch and I barely have to reapply. I am wondering if the weather time may vary between shades?
I know you are working on the commercial kitchen for the marshmallow business. Have you thought about subscription boxes for them once you get it going? One specialty flavor of the month plus maybe a choice between the regulars. Just thoughts.
Hallo, great review. Nothing to exciting this month other than the new elf matte shadow sticks and no budge pot cream shadow, new putty blush and I was wow! They worked better than most of my high-end ones. Other item was honest beauty new concealer and really loved too. My misses were high-end products that have been around for a bit.
HSN had a 2 for $18 sale on the too faced hangover pillowy lip balms and of course I bought them immediately! They're normally $26 or $27 for one!!!! But they had sent me a lip injection maximum plump free and I am really impressed! Definitely plumped up my lips!
I have the same essence mini eyeshadow palette and love it! I have other palettes in different shades and absolutely love! So good for under 5 bucks!!!!!
I had the best experience with the Simpsons recreation people. My boyfriend and I are a mixed couple and the first proof that me looking as light as him😆 and didn't have him in his glasses. I noted it and they corrected it immediately. The whole process took 3-4 days and purposely went with the digital copy since I was going to have Walgreens print it on their large printers and put it in a frame.
I was going to purchase that halo glow powder in the pink shade because ppl said it was a dupe for the huda cherry blossom! But I haven't bought it yet! Think I will now!
Fascinating to see what Maybelline is doing in the US. Maybelline in Australia/NZ does not bring in the entire range (I think we get what doesn't sell over there!). The glow makeup looks interesting, but is not worth the bad exchange rate and shipping from the US to try.
Did you by chance try the too faced bronzer that came out for holiday last year? It came with a lip injection lipgloss, might’ve been in the shade hot chocolate? I can’t remember, but! That lipgloss shade was/ IS gorgeous!!! I need someone to help me find a dupe! I love that shade, it I don’t like the stinging feel. I wear it anyways because the color is so pretty though.
Unless it has surprisingly amazing results it's not worth that price. That's like medical grade skincare pricing without stabilised ingredients just fancy packaging.

I only used it once since I bought it a few months ago. I’m not going anywhere so no makeup today but I put it on under my Paula’s Choice tinted sunscreen and a little on top of my check bones. I don’t really see anything 😂🤣 but it feels nice. Idk what’s going on with TF? They’re really just not good anymore. I wish they would use the old chocolate palette formula. Maybe we’re just spoiled by Indy brands? 🤷🏻♀️

I've definitely seen that same mascara concept before maybe 3-4 years ago and I cannot for the life of me remember what brand it was. But I didn't like that one either. I'm sure somebody remembers this with me
Dr. Dre talked about how mixing your own products, like powders and serums together isn't a great idea because you can't thoroughly mix them so that each but has the same amount of active ingredients meaning you get dispersal issues and parts of your skin that might get more or less. I think that's another big flaw of that skincare product.
Thanks for pointing that out! I'm pretty sure they make it so a specific amount of powder comes out so that it isn't too strong. It seems pretty regulated when you pump it. :)

Definitely not. I feel like Chocolate Gold was the peak. The original Chocolate Bar palette is so powdery compared to palettes we got used to using after it was released.

Okay, I hope this is a compliment and doesn’t make you feel bad about paying for that family portrait, but that looks absolutely nothing like you. You are so much more attractive than they made you look. I think your husband is a good representation, and I don’t know about your kids, but that doesn’t look like you in any way and the outfit they depicted you in is atrocious. It doesn’t look like anime, it looks like you were drawn into the Wild Kratts cartoon. I think there’s a point where you probably say, “Good enough, done with you,” and eat the money spent, because it’s such a frustrating process. I’m glad you shared your experience, though, so other people can avoid giving that company their money.
They have different formulas and some are significantly better than others. So you may not be doing anything wrong; you may just have one of their stinkers. :(

Some of the costumes are from Boruto too, so the art style in Boruto is a bit different, the mishmash looks very strange together.

I layer the catrice lip stain over the maybelline vynil lip... it stops the maybelline stickiness and lasts forever. Trust me, try it.

HSN had a 2 for $18 sale on the too faced hangover pillowy lip balms and of course I bought them immediately! They're normally $26 or $27 for one!!!! But they had sent me a lip injection maximum plump free and I am really impressed! Definitely plumped up my lips!
I have the same essence mini eyeshadow palette and love it! I have other palettes in different shades and absolutely love! So good for under 5 bucks!!!!!
I had the best experience with the Simpsons recreation people. My boyfriend and I are a mixed couple and the first proof that me looking as light as him😆 and didn't have him in his glasses. I noted it and they corrected it immediately. The whole process took 3-4 days and purposely went with the digital copy since I was going to have Walgreens print it on their large printers and put it in a frame.

Fascinating to see what Maybelline is doing in the US. Maybelline in Australia/NZ does not bring in the entire range (I think we get what doesn't sell over there!). The glow makeup looks interesting, but is not worth the bad exchange rate and shipping from the US to try.
Did you by chance try the too faced bronzer that came out for holiday last year? It came with a lip injection lipgloss, might’ve been in the shade hot chocolate? I can’t remember, but! That lipgloss shade was/ IS gorgeous!!! I need someone to help me find a dupe! I love that shade, it I don’t like the stinging feel. I wear it anyways because the color is so pretty though.
I love the thought of the Exponent product but I can't spend $166 on a product! That's crazy to me! 😅
Unless it has surprisingly amazing results it's not worth that price. That's like medical grade skincare pricing without stabilised ingredients just fancy packaging.

I had to pause the video and go put the Maybelline 4 in 1 on. I only used it once since I bought it a few months ago. I’m not going anywhere so no makeup today but I put it on under my Paula’s Choice tinted sunscreen and a little on top of my check bones. I don’t really see anything 😂🤣 but it feels nice. Idk what’s going on with TF? They’re really just not good anymore. I wish they would use the old chocolate palette formula. Maybe we’re just spoiled by Indy brands? 🤷🏻♀️

Dr. Dre talked about how mixing your own products, like powders and serums together isn't a great idea because you can't thoroughly mix them so that each but has the same amount of active ingredients meaning you get dispersal issues and parts of your skin that might get more or less. I think that's another big flaw of that skincare product.
Thanks for pointing that out! I'm pretty sure they make it so a specific amount of powder comes out so that it isn't too strong. It seems pretty regulated when you pump it. :)

You can take off the sponge and clean it from maybeline concealer, so I assume you can do the same with this new perfector

I liked the Maybelline Vinyl lipsticks that much that I went bought almost all colours. I only skipped on 1 or 2 cuz they wouldn't have suited me.

Definitely not. I feel like Chocolate Gold was the peak. The original Chocolate Bar palette is so powdery compared to palettes we got used to using after it was released.
@@jenluv I never bought any of the chocolate bar palettes. I did buy a couple of the holiday releases. They have very nice mattes. For some reason i just never kept the palettes around for all that long.

Okay, I hope this is a compliment and doesn’t make you feel bad about paying for that family portrait, but that looks absolutely nothing like you. You are so much more attractive than they made you look. I think your husband is a good representation, and I don’t know about your kids, but that doesn’t look like you in any way and the outfit they depicted you in is atrocious. It doesn’t look like anime, it looks like you were drawn into the Wild Kratts cartoon. I think there’s a point where you probably say, “Good enough, done with you,” and eat the money spent, because it’s such a frustrating process. I’m glad you shared your experience, though, so other people can avoid giving that company their money.

They have different formulas and some are significantly better than others. So you may not be doing anything wrong; you may just have one of their stinkers. :(
