- When things come together at the coast in New York it can make for some really good times. As you'll see here: Hurricane Maria sent waves that had both west coast and east coast dudes flocking into town.
Some of the best east coast surf and surfing I've ever seen.
Watched this video as a boogie boarder years ago. Now that I stand up surf aswel I appreciate this so much more, badass edit

Great surfing and video... 5 years later but whatever I'm landlocked and like to remember the waves I grew up on. The youth is the future and they push the boundaries. I've surfed alot of places and am getting older and couldn't do half of this... more of a barrel and man hack guy if i get out.
Love it. Beaches, sunrises and golden-orange to red to yellow-mairgokd sunsets on beaches or mountains, valley, streams, bankes and waterfalls, like Victoria nd Niagara Falls. I'm going there tomm Friyay can't wait! Sunbathing I call "sunbaking" my fav hobby. I'm going to Jones Beach Saturday, and Hamptons Sunday

@@TOC1616 yeah im pretty sure, born and raised in LBNY as well as my parents. i now live in Rincon PR. there are some shots from lb like magnolia blvd building and mag blvd faccing west, azores (lido) etc. many shots of NJ and what looks like rockaway beach too. hahah u related to megan and joe? bc i went to school w them. my wombat blood is thicccccccck dont school me on hometown lolllll.

New York surfers sure have improved since I surfed Gilgo back in the sixties on a longboard.
Most of the guys in the clip aren’t from NY, mostly visiting “pros”

It's a beach break pulling up sand.
I grew up in LB. We surfed in the early 60's. Thew water was clean. Now Brown water. So I moved to LA and now Malibu is almost this brown. WTF??:??

The color of the water in NY has nothing to do with pollution, it's the sand being sucked up in a beach break

Your the Suga To my Kookies -Anabella & Hellen- more like the Atlantic Ocean is a darker color than the pacific
no offense but it is better water quality than LA beaches. The water in many costal areas of the Atlantic appears darker than areas in the Pacific because the sand in the Atlantic is darker. The Pacific is also deeper much closer to shore.
Shawn6466 I see your comment about the water being so Brown. I live in Long Beach and i surf all year round. In October the water is especially brown because it’s hurricane season so the water tends to get a lot dirtier not saying it’s due to the hurricane season but when we do get downpours and crappy whether, the water tends to get more brown. In the summer the water is bright blue and so beautiful!
Yes don't know what your talking about, Main Beach and coopers beach in Hampton is considered one of the top 5 beaches in the country
