I want the Indio. Reminds me of a Trex. Probably going to be way to expensive. But I WANT ONE NOW

Agreed! It's game changer for three-wheelers if they make it.

I think some of the concepts are great, however I do not want to plan my trip around charging my vehicle. I think there's a market for electric, I'm just not in that market. There are some great concept vehicles they came up with. I have been saving to get one of the classic models, Maybe they will become cheaper now.

It looks like the Santarosa has fog lights. That's probably what the light toggle controls.

I think vanderhalls are meant to be customized. They're so much fun to modify

It was probably inevitable that Vanderhall would revisit electric power for the roadsters. Once the Brawley came out, one could assume the company was getting serious about electricity. I suspect Vanderhall will keep selling the gas models as long as the GM parts source doesn't dry up. Unless we get some big leap in battery tech, gas-powered range still reigns. However, it is suggested the Brawley will be available with DC fast charge, so if that migrates to the Santarosa, range becomes a bit more palatable.
My personal wish is that Vanderhall equips the Santarosa with some sort of joystick to engage regen braking. One pedal driving is fine (I owned an i3 as well), but tipping a stick or squeezing a paddle lever could be a LOT of fun. It's like getting a little taste of manual shifting without the gas engine or clutch. And when you want full automatic, flip a switch and go to automatic mode. Otherwise, I like the restyle of these new roadsters.

Indio! BUILD IT! I WILL BUY IT! Just make more room in them than your too tight Carmel and Venice. Test drove one and just couldn't do it...too tight interior.

I agree with the Indio. The more I've looked at it, the more I want it. All weather protection, serious performance and stellar good looks. This vehicle could be a daily driver if Vanderhall nails the expectations. The company would need to be prepared for demand. They've got undiscovered gem on their hands. As for room, we'll see!

What in the world. That Santa Rosa looks awesome. I don't think going electric will be worth it. If you look at the price of electric cars, some of those are outlandish, so I suspect that these will be out of my price range as well. Also that speeder looks like a Ryker as you said. Ryker's are completely affordable but are not the vanderhall look everyone likes...lol.

HA HA SICK MAN!! Mad max, it looks friggn sweet. I didn't know you could have a mini gun mounted on the hood of your car and a hazardous waste canister on the rear and not get in trouble. Yay Texas! Are the roof panels removable, I would think sometimes you would want the open 'convertible' feeling.

Not removable unless unbolting it but they are tinted glass so you still get some light through it. In Texas it's so hot most of the year, Id rather have the shade. Lol

EVs are the future.....I just hope that happens after I'm too old to drive or dead. Seriously, EVs have so many issues, no long term understanding on reliability, costs and yes, impact to the environment (yes there is still an impact, don't be fooled)....then there's the health impact of "sitting" on a bank of batteries for an extended period of time. Only time will tell..

Thanks for the update... i truly appreciate progress.. but the way i (we ) ride especially with other gas engine friends.. it just doesn't work well together... but if you are a solo day rider.. with a trust fund.. just maybe it'll fly

Not crazy..? Lol 360lbs and 320hp in that little thing sounds like a rocket ship. My 22 M240 has 382hp and 367trq and comes in at 3900lbs. Lol and my M240 is fast for a “non M car”

Not many people are long tripping these, mostly Sunday funday driving and short distances. EV makes sense for more exciting acceleration and cost of ownership. Sorry to say but gas is gone, and they’re smart for making an abrupt change to EV tech.

Ive had electric vehicles before and they are great for around town so Im sure they will sell...I get why they are doing it

OK schools in session a tesla can charge from 0 to 80% in 17 minutes. that means from 0 miles to 320 miles in 17 minutes you are misinformed that it takes hours to charge a Tesla. I don’t know about Ford or GM because I don’t own those vehicles. You are correct that a three wheeler or a motorcycle cannot go electric because they don’t have the space to fit all the batteries necessary to get long range. But the most important part is the charging, a lot of these vehicles put a slow charger because it’s cheaper in the vehicle Ford and GM do that. The Brawley is supposed to charge fully in the half hour.
The problem is you’re relying on electrify America which has a horrible reputation for having down chargers all the time and plenty of problems with your chargers.
But we can assume that they all use the same charging method for these new vehicles so you should be able to charge in a half hour if everything goes right
Which isn’t that bad considering you stop for gas you go inside you go to pay for gas or you go get something to drink or you go and take a leak it’s usually about 15 minutes before you get on the road again. But you cannot wing it when you have an electric vehicle you have to plan out every single mile because you need to know where all the chargers are. That is not a problem with Tesla‘s because they have chargers everywhere but everybody else I would not recommend it.
By the way I own a 2022 carmel just in case someone tries to say I don’t know what I’m talking about

We traveled to deadwood, SD last year with 12 Vanderhalls. It's 17 hours each way. We stopped 3 times each day for gas at about 175 miles between stops. So even with the bigger battery and we stopped to top off, we would need access to at least 6 dual chargers (un-occupied and in working condition) to be able to have a "quick" stop each time. Let's be real, that's not gonna work out for us. An electric vehicle is not good for road trips...it just isn't. They won't be for a long time. I had a bmw i3 and honestly thought it was great around town. I like the idea of electric, but I'll never only own an electric vehicle.
