As a Bangladeshi I can say he is telling the truth. Pakistani media and army will never acknowledge what the Pakistani army did in Bangladesh. 3million people killed, 300k rapes, countless village and mid town burns and destroyed. It was not just an act of ethnic cleansing, it was the crime against humanity. What was the reason? Awami League won the election of 1970 of Pakistan and Pakistanis did not want an east Pakistani party to form a government. Because if they did the Pakistani military and so called politicians couldn't loot east Pakistan. There was one state but discrimination was everywhere from school-college ratio to governmental jobs but most of the earnings of Pakistan were coming from Bangladesh. If you look at Bangladesh and Pakistan economy data of the past and now you will understand it.

Imran Khan is right about Pakistani atrocities in what is now Bangladesh. I remember from those days that was talk of close to a million babies from rape. Don't know the real numbers, but it was the Pakistani Punjabi troops who were posted in East Pakistan, and the children they fathered looked very different from the Bangla babies and were often abandoned by their mothers. Joan Baez lamented the atrocities in "Song of Bangladesh."
Don't forget IK remembered all this only now. He had no issues when the same army hoisted him as PM. He's a politician after all! As a kid I remember this war and additional costs on Indian citizens to bear the cost of the war and inflow of refugees

This was even pointed out by Mr. Kofi Annan ( UN Secy General, former). The only thing left is Paxtan vacating POK and GB!! That's smthing we'll reach...sooner than later!
