The comparison is not fair. It used Bissell half side to vacuumed the pasta and moved faster than Tineco. The centre of the vacuum has stronger pressure and moving slower will get more time to clean.
You have the best, most informative comparison I have seen so far. You were very thorough with regards to different types of messes, capacity, self cleaning results, and charging time. You gave me all of the information I needed to make an informed decision. I appre iste the slow mo and different camera angles and detailed explanations. I never considered Tineco until now. Thank you!
Why you moving the Tineco so slow and the Bissell faster? That's not a true comparison. Move them with the same speed. It's obvious that no matter what wet dry vacuum cleaner you would use, the one that moves slower will clean better because you keep it longer in the dirty area. This is not a good comparison.
I am cleaning my sisters house all this week, very thoroughly. I am cleaning her kitchen floor these past 2 days. She has both the Bissell Crosswave Premier & the Tineco, but she told me that the Tineco is for her living room & the Bissell is for her kitchen, so i didn't get to try the Tineco yet. I washed her living room floor 3 days ago on my hands & knees so don't want to go over it again. One of these days i will try out her Tineco.
It won't let me edit, so I will just add another post. I first vacuumed her kitchen floor, then went over her kitchen floor about 5 times with different mops & different cleaning solutions, such as bleach & water, Simple Green & Pinesol. Then today, i went over the floor with the Bissell Crosswave Premier.
Tineco wins hands down costs more but the delivery is better This method kicks wiping mess up, running mop water, waiting for floor to dry, to the curve! I personally love steam because it sanitizes! Great video!
Appreciate your video, nice and thorough! This helped me make my decision on whether or not I want one of these two in one vacuums that I’ve been looking into for some time. I’ve decided I don’t want one. Due to all the parts in these vacuums that need to be removed, thoroughly cleaned and fully dried in between each use + the special solution it seems like just another chore and I would rather continue to use my cordless Dyson vacuum or broom as the first step to hard floor upkeep and then my off brand disposable swifter mop pads (for quick pick ups) or self wringing libman mop (more heavy duty pickups) that has affordable mop head replacements as the second step.
Fantastic side tot side review. Biggest difference seems to be the self cleaning proces. And one does not buy such a machine to save time cleaning the house to then spend all the time cleaning the machine. ;-) Thanks a lot.
Having a cleaning company, I've been in the market for one of these, but you made my decision for me. I'm going for the Tineco 7 pro. Thank God someone made a real-world product review. Thank you
Excellent review! So detailed and to the point. I’m completely sold on the tineco after seeing how well the self cleaning worked. Now I just have to convince my husband to spend the money on it 😭
Biased review ! Cleaning up the first mess you move the Bissel of Center. You don't do this with the Tineco. 4:48 2. Mess, you move the bissel faster backwards so he has less time to pickup and clean. 9:54
Hi based on how I edited the video I can see how you would think this. For that particular scene, I should have kept the BISSELL at its normal speed instead of speeding it up for video purposes. I wanted the viewers to see how the tinco pulls itself towards the mess and increases the suction. power at the same time. But if you notice in the other scenes the BISSELL requires several passes due to residue being left behind.
I'm so, so glad I came across your review. I just saw the commercial for the Bissell and decided to look up the pricing again and saw that it costs about $219 at Wal-Mart but I also saw the Tineco, but didn't even look at it because I thought it was a cheap off name brand. But shoot, I think I will look into the Tineco. I'm very disappointed in Bissell.
Have both Bissell crosswave and Tineco , but Tineco broke down after few months . Tineco is light and easy to use compared to Bissell and I liked it but lost confidence in its build quality . On the other hand Bissell is a bit heavier but it will last for a long time.
Same here. My Tineco was great the first month, but then water started leaking into the charging base. I'm waiting for the next generation of them for (hopefully) a round of improvements. I came to this video to check out the Bissell.
According to the manual, Bissell Crosswave should be done in short, quick passes. That's bc the Bissell is heavier and so it needs a greater amount of push, which it then self-propels over the mess. If you went slow, it wouldn't pick up large spills as good. The Tineco is lightweight, but also it has a sensor that adjusts the suction power based on the size of the mess it senses, so you need to allow it to register the type of spill in front of it. After that, it then self-propels accordingly. So it makes sense to go slow for Tineco and short bursts for Bissell.
Thank you for making me feel better about taking the plunge (waiting for delivery tomorrow) with the tineco without watching any reviews before buying it 😅😂
I’ve had a tineco s3 and got a bissell cross wave x7, I had the bissell for 2 days before returning it because it left too much water on the ground, was way louder, and the battery did not last near as long as my tineco did. So I got a tineco s5 (499$) because it isn’t the “pro” version. And I love it. Tineco is amazing and life changing.
I still don't get the desire to use this to clean up something like speghetti or milk.. I could see get the nasty stuff up first, with a paper towel, then using this to do a final clean after... I mean the nasty mess you are going to have to clean out of that dirty tank would make my stomach turn.. its nasty enough just mopping a dirty floor.
To be honest you go much slower with the Tineco every time, ultimately giving it more time to pick up everything :). With the Bissel you were noticeably faster. You do realize that makes a huge difference right? I appreciate the review though.
I agree... than on the spaghetti with the pissell sche passed on sideway, with tineco centrally... not very correct.. eggs shell were more for bissell.. not like this comparative video..
Hey girl!!! Thx so much for your side by side comparison… I am SO glad I bought the TIneco… to me it was well worth the $$$ and i am definitely not made of $$$… I bought the S5 Pro and honestly, I was mad at myself at first for spending the extra $100 for the Pro version but….. this spring (early summer) when i went to put my portable air conditioner on, it started to leak ever;where! Now, I am more than thrilled that i spent the extra lmao…. It sucks up the water, no problems, without making the floor extra wet:). Also, I have two cats and I use this thing at least twice a day… My floors have never, ever been cleaner…. I just hope it lasts awhile.. But, if for some reason I wear it out in a year, I will ALWAYS repurchase… It honestly is a game changer and I don’t think I could live without one now. :):). Thx again.. I always thought the Bissell was just as good, but apparently it doesn’t quite measure up with the Tineco… again I appreciate you
Heyy!! It is really amazing right!!? I love it too & so worth it. I too thought BISSELL was the best until I tried something else lol! Thank you so much for watching 💕
The only difference is that the PRO has a suction only mode as well as the auto and max mode. But, i don’t feel the suction only mode is for rugs. A lot of people ask that question. It’s more for spills, my situation mentioned above, etc. And, Dyamond, it was my pleasure :)
@@trishherrmann390 I do still love it! It really has been a game changer. Just this morning one of our cats threw up in front of the bathroom door in the middle of our busy routine. I just vac/mopped it right up and cleaned it when I got home a little later I’m the morning. And there is another difference in the Pro model besides the LCD screen. It also has a suction only mode which I use ALL the time for spills 🤗
Thank you so much for doing this video, excellent comparison I just wish I could hear you better. I have my volume all the way up and I can barely hear you!❤❤
Best comparison video I’ve seen! I was about to buy a Bissell but I’m thinking tineco for sure! I wish I’d bought mine before everyone discovered them and they doubled & tripled their prices. But they do match the Bissell prices and they do work better. I’m thinking of getting an older cheaper model to go behind my puppies accident, just #1 & over where I pick up the #2. I always bag their poo in the scented baby diaper bags so it won’t stink up my house. But honestly sometimes they just don’t get it lined up on the puppy pads no matter what size I buy. I did buy a readable washable giant pad but they thought it was a blanket. I put the disposable pads on it and it catches whatever doesn’t get on them but honestly I find myself hosing it off outside because I don’t want to put that in my washing machine. So we just use it as a blanket. Too much trouble. I HATE dragging out a mop! This looks like my solution! But I’m thinking a cheaper one that’s only for puppy accidents then the nicer one for whole house normal cleaning. Trying to keep it as sanitary as possible. With my regular mop I’m just using bleach & water now. But I don’t want to mop the old way everyday nor do I want to spot wash on my hands and knees. Would you say the tineco would clean tile very well? The people that built our home put down white tile with white grout! I mean really! We have 5 kids and right now 4 small dogs & 1 cat that adopted us that I couldn’t not rescue. But my 21yr old is allergic to cats so the cat has to stay out of the girls bedroom & I put an air purifier in her room. She’s done pretty good considering she’s rarely here. She works weekends, is in nursing school thru the day, and lives at her boyfriends on the weekends. Lol. One more question. I’m wanting to put down a laminate type floating flooring that it easier on your feet & back but it’s waterproof so I’m sure either of these will do good on it. Do they both dry the floor as well? You said the tineco isn’t multi floor I think? So what will it not do that the Bissell will do? Again, I LOVE your video!!! I hope you’ve made more videos because I’m gonna check out your page! Great job!
Came back because I’m still trying to decide between the pro and the combo 🙉 This review is still excellent. I can easily see the shots that you slow-mo’d for emphasis and where you sped things up. I think this is a very fair comparison and it really showcases the might of the tineco. I still can’t decide between the pro and the combo tho 😩
I got the tineco floor one s5 pro…easy to clean and works 🎉🎉🎉….for me it’s so easy to clean the whole house….and my house looks so clean…after using tineco…but the con is it didn’t go to the corners like washroom seat corners…but it is the best machine
@@saradavis3700 I got the combo and I love it. I quickly managed to learn how to clean my entire downstairs before the battery and water level gets too low to do an immediate self clean. I use it just about every other day and have had no issues so far
Thanks so much for this review. I'm sold on the Tineco... the Bissell made a mess of that egg clean-up! As you said, it would have been better if you had just cleaned it up with a paper towel than to have so much to clean on the Bissell.
Looking into buying one of these and I’m very indecisive. Although your time is appreciated making this video, too bad it was not a fair comparison. More negative comments on the Bissell as if you were promoting Tineco. -Cleaning process, you seem to go slower on the Tineco. -When cleaning spaghetti, you only used 1/2 the brush on the Bissell. -Self-cleaning: the same amount of time was not given, and yeah the bissell brush is dirtier as only that one side was used more than the whole brush. -Egg cleaning, you kinda stopped when the Tineco hit the egg, etc. Plus, other viewers here comment that the Bissell is the better machine due to Tineco only lasting months. Just sharing my opinion.
Lol!! I was so hurt by the comparison bc for years BISSELL it what I used to clean my floors. But I will say if you don’t have major messes like this BISSELL Is good at the price point, as you know already 😁
Nice review. Would only use either for general cleaning or light messes. Much rather grab a paper towel to clean bigger messes than have to spend time cleaning the yuck from the parts and then the sink. I would buy it for time savings and simplicity and cleaning the larger nastiness from it kind ruins that.
Hangisini alacagimi bilmiyorum ama iki supurgeye adaletli olarak davrandiginizi dusunmuyorum.(zaman, ozen, kullanim açisindan.) Bissell markasini daha ozensiz kullandiniz
To be fair, you moved the Bissell FAR faster than you moved the Tineco. The strokes were nowhere near the same. That makes a difference. Also, the OG Crosswave was good for its time, but is not a competitor to the newest Tineco. The Crosswave is Gen. 1, and is much older (almost 7 years old). Its competitor was Tineco’s first floor cleaner, the Tineco iFloor. A better comparison would be Bissell’s latest Crosswave (the HF3) to this model as they match specs better. Not a bad review though!
This was such a great review! I was set to get a Bissell until seeing this. And I’d heard it was a pain to clean it. Question though, what is the diff between the Tineco S3 and the S5 (besides price)? And now theres a pro? TIA
No, for most of these wet-dry vacs, you'd need to refill and recharge. To remedy this, you could simply buy an extra battery and extra water tank to swap out. Or you could consider the Hizero, which has 3x the battery life and budgets its water usage in order to clean up spills.
Honestly I do not think that the same cleanup process was used for both. With the Bissell you rolled over the spaghetti with the end but you rolled over the spaghetti from the middle with the Tineco so it is somewhat bias. If both were rolled from the middle there would likely not have been a different outcome on the Bissell. Not good. You also seemingly took your time with the Tineco runs but rushed through the process with the Bissell. Deserves a redo.
Cleaning the machine after using it will require a longer time compared to simply using a paper towel to clean the spaghetti on the floor 😂
I agree but it's great for everyday cleaning.
It’s a just a demo
Exactly 😂
The comparison is not fair. It used Bissell half side to vacuumed the pasta and moved faster than Tineco.
The centre of the vacuum has stronger pressure and moving slower will get more time to clean.
It's clearly an advisement for Tineco

Girl when I seen you review on the Brisell I immediately went to purchase it! Now imma have go and check that out the other one too! 😁😍
Lol!! I was so hurt by the comparison bc for years BISSELL it what I used to clean my floors. But I will say if you don’t have major messes like this BISSELL Is good at the price point, as you know already 😁
I read it can be used on tile too?
What kind of model no tineco
what about the noise level?
Do we have to use the chemical bottles to clean? Can u use just water?
Nice review. Would only use either for general cleaning or light messes. Much rather grab a paper towel to clean bigger messes than have to spend time cleaning the yuck from the parts and then the sink. I would buy it for time savings and simplicity and cleaning the larger nastiness from it kind ruins that.
I love you dyamond! do your thang gurl~ thanks for the review!
This is a GREAT review. Best comparison of these two on UA-cam. I've tried both, and prefer the Tineco.
Does he clean the carpets?
@@gada1112 You can use it on carpets for a "light" cleaning only... but both models are really meant for use on hard floors.
I'm glad I watched this. Thank you.
Why if you start with Tineco in left side, later in the right, that’s the only I don’t like in this video, the rest you are great, beautiful voice
Great video and comparison! Thank you!
how much better than a normal shop vac (wet/dry) is this? With a shop vac we'd need to just put water on the floor, but otherwise it seems similar?
Thank you for this excellent review!!!
I try both of them but tinco is the best best
this is a great video. thank you for making this
Great review video
Tineco fan, and would neeeever trade it for anything. I love my S7 PRO.
Very informative! Thank you
Amazing review 👌🏽
it is not fair to review both cleaner
as it's not at centre when you use the bissell, but when you use tineco, it's perfect centre angle
I have a bisell pet pro and it’s annoying after cleaning leave marks from wheels on floor
Wow, this was so good!! I never thought I would spend $600 on a wet mop but you have me convinced it would be worth it
Girl same here lol 😂 hhahah i kept convincing my husband and he’s very convinced with tineco
TIA
Best video very detailed thank you!
Great review, thank you!
Thanks for the great review
Could Tineco clean up about 3000 square feet home by one charge and one fill of water?
No, for most of these wet-dry vacs, you'd need to refill and recharge. To remedy this, you could simply buy an extra battery and extra water tank to swap out. Or you could consider the Hizero, which has 3x the battery life and budgets its water usage in order to clean up spills.
Great video, thank you!
great test! Thanks for share!
Super helpful
ThNn you so much ! Great review !
Thank you. This is a great video with good information.
Thank you for watching!
