Hate on line is out of control, it doesn't matter who no reason for it to who its aimed at. To me people are generally unhappy in there life and they wanna hate on anyone who's doing well or doing anything there motivated to.
The hate is actually towards Tom, since he always makes excuses for not doing well in other competitions than wsm. Mitch performs well in all the major shows, that is why he have a Arnold Classic title, and now also a Giants live title.

It seems like excuses though, others such as big Z Thor Shaw would probably have turned up and won when they were in their day after winning wsm, no excuses. Tom has only ever won one international competition (not including wsm) so something is seriously wrong with his prep or mindset. Either that or he isn't really that bothered about winning other events outside wsm.

love the sportsmanship of strongman, above and beyond most sports amazing to see you perform so well even without having Luke by your side come so far mentally and physically.
It really isn't, many sports where you have individuals competing against each other have the same camaraderie with athletes supporting each other. Take CrossFit, I am not a fan, but these guys are all good friends and train together, or snooker/tennis/swimming/gymnastics etc etc. Strongman is not some sort of special sport in this area.

@@daveaglasgow respect your opinion but still fell strongman is in a league of its own. I’ve only been following strongman for about 6 years and aside from Thor and Eddie and wide Pavlo and Novikov there never seems to be any beef just great athletes who only want to see the best win and grow the sport, the encouragement they show each other is amazing.
Coming second with this kind of performance after a far from ideal prep just shows how scary good Tom is.

I have been a subscriber since early in this channel. Tom rarely even spoke and Luke was leading the way. To see Tom doing solo videos and representing himself so well is fantastic. It has been amazing seeing him grow as a person and strongman.

ive said it before, and ill say it again. For the vast majority, the comradery and respect between pro strongmen is awesome. It's still a kinda niche sport, and a lot of the pros seem to really enjoy what they do. Hearing Tom, Brian, any of the pro guys talk so passionately about their sport is super fun.

We are all privileged to have you both competing at the very highest standard. Tom absolute beast, always on the podium and able to beat anyone. Whilst at the top of the tree, do you have any world records you will aim for, to cement your legacy apart from the stones?
He clearly isn't "the man to beat", he only wins 1 big competition a year. Mitch has won half the big events he has entered, often beating Tom. Even Evan has won more than Tom.
@@daveaglasgow between Mitch and Tom for me it’s 50/50 who wins on the day. I do love Mitch, but on his day, prepared and ready for the big comps my money is on Tom.
