My late Dad is in the end scene, he's the white haired guy that hugs the man in the red cap in the airport narrative part. We miss him but we always have the film and everyone always messages to day they saw him at the end
Im so sorry for your loss. It must be so nice being able to watch him on film, and to have others recognise him too. I wish you a happy Christmas.
I knew exactly who you meant! I am so sorry he's no longer here with us. That moment has always made me smile.
Oh, I know who you mean. Wonderful! He is forever in the film that is about love! Merry Christmas!
Imagine being the writer of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notthing Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually
I didn’t know Richard wrote Bridget, did he?
@@benl326 Yes. Absolute legend.
He also co-wrote Mr Bean and Blackadder. He was friends with Rowan Atkinson at University.
@@msmiami212 Damm yeah just double checked, that’s madness. Romcoms as we know them would not be the same without our Richard eh
@@bigginsd1 Ah interesting, didn’t know that either until now. And the Vicar of Dibley too blimey
Knowing that Hugh Grant was begrudgingly dancing out of contractual obligation makes it even funnier. I love this movie so much!!!
The movie wouldn't have been as popular without that scene! I bet he's glad he bent the knee now!
The scene between Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman though -- chills up and down my and my mother's spine. Superb acting. Heart-wrenching! PS. why did Liam Neeson not age one bit?
Check out Lory Hills channel, she explains why celebrities don’t age :)
With The Background Music From Joni Mitchell(Both Sides Now)
Liam was born 50 years old, we're all just catching up.
he did age. u blind?
Emma Thompson is a treasure.
Hugh Grant will always be a Legend. An Icon. One of the best actor ever ❤
This movie ALWAYS makes me smile. No matter how many times I see it.... This movie wouldn't be the same without the prime minister victory dance. It is the BEST. The all star cast, the story, this movie is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES.
We need more movies like this. We really do.
I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, Christmas is all around me so let the feeling grow :)
It’s how I discovered Bill Nighy. Only to find out he was married to Diana Quick! I love Brideshead ❤️
Back in the day Hugh Grant's dry sense of humor was underappreciated yet worked perfectly & Emma Thompson's role in Love Actually won our hearts and every movie since. Like them this classic has only gotten better. When I watch Hugh's iconic dancing scene I think of Tom Cruise's scene in Risky Business. 🕺Still smiling these years later. 😄
It wasn't under appreciated, it was just bad
Gotta hand it to good morning America no one puts up a gigantic banner on the bottom of the screen to block so much coverage. Well done GMA
Now that I know it's the same writer as Bridget Jones and Knotting Hill it all makes sense! Such great movies, but this one is my Christmas MUST WATCH... So, so, so good!!
Some of the most iconic, memorable and best acted scenes you will ever see are in this gem of a movie. I can never not cry with Emma’s character or laugh at Hugh’s dance. Plus there are SO MANY other amazing characters in the movie. You don’t get many movies like that any more with so many stars and future stars involved.
Colin in America...
I just love Hugh Grant's sense of humour!!!
my absolute favorite movie of all time!!!!!! Hugh Grant dancing is the absolute BEST part of the entire film!!!! I watch it every Christmas season at least 2 or 3 times! Its a classic that will only get better as time passes.
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Omg, my favourite movies Bridget Jones, 4 Wedding & F, Notting Hill and all of written / directed by same author ✍️. Ohh thank you so much! Timeless movies
Richard Curtis, what a writer ! Superb, so many hits
Adore this movie. Joyous, bittersweet, unbearably heartbreaking and yet so hopeful. Love changes everything.
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
As a Brit I have to say Love actually is one of the greatest British xmas films and rom coms.
One of my favorite movies…period! I have to watch it every Christmas.
Same. This movie and Elf. My two favourites.
The best christmas movie from modern times
christmas chronicles and last christmas is better
@@mandismith89 Erm... no, not even close.
Love Actually was the first time I watched a movie with a girl, on my first date ever in my life. She is now married (with someone else) with 2 kids, and still to this day she was the best I ever had, and probably also the worst, LOL. Ahh this brings back memories.
I've seen this movie a million times.. lol it never gets old.
Seeing Emma Thompson, I realised she could have played the Meryl Streep character in 'The Devil Loves Prada', if Meryl wasn't able to.
Every Christmas I re watch this movie again, this’s my most watchest movie
I love/hate that movie just because I was Emma Thompson’s character in real life and all these years later, when I watch the movie every December I try to forgive a little bit more. 😢
I love that MOVIE!!
R.I.P
Alan Rickman.
Yes, my exact thoughts when I watched it the other night.
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
@@barrymorgenstern162 Barry, I hope you have a lovely day💗
A must see every Christmas!
Alan Rickman is phenomenal in this film. RIP.
And I would say Curtis went on and created another lovely movie, about time.
Agree!!!
Oh I didn't realize he wrote that one, too! One of the loveliest movies ever!
I re-watched Love Actually on Thanksgiving night, can't believe it's 20 years old. Wonderful film, for the past 6 or so years that's how I start my kick off my Christmas Love Actually, Fred Claus and so on. 🎄🎁
Love Actually will always be the most wholesome film ❤❤ RIP Alan
This movie is beyond brilliant, everyone should have won an award for their performance. My sister and I watch it every time we are together which is usually at Christmas. It’s so great. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺
I WATCH IT EVERY YEAR!
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Hugh Grant's dance where he says he's out of sync is actually perfect. It goes well with the moment and character
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
I just love this movie. Hugh Grant is still very handsome! 🥰
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
LOVE this movie....watched it last night on TV
We love the dance, Hugh!
This is the movie where I fell in love with Emma Thompson🥰🥰 She is such a beautiful soul. This movie will forever be a bittersweet romantic comedy.
After falling in love, and being married to my husband for 40 years, I can attest to love that lasts for a lifetime, which although not always, entertaining, lasts for for 40 years. Our devotion to each other and to our children kept him alive until 2017. A 40 year marriage , though good times and bad.
hahah Hugh.. "I am important".. love him!
I adore this film ❤😅
Adore this movie! My all time favorite!❤❤❤Love IS all around us!
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Favorite scene is the wedding proposal. Always have to at least see that when it's on 😎
Waiting for Richard Curtis to write a movie on love and small acts of kindness creating a ripple effect.
One of the Classics !
Where is Martine McCutcheon? She was so good as the love interest for Hugh Grant.
What I love about Martine and Hugh's friendship was he defended her multiple times when she was criticized for her weight.
i love that the two seconds of this video with thomas brodie sangster's grown up face are the most replayed lmao
I, from Austria = faraway over the ocean but still on planet Earth, subscribed to GMA solely because of Robin Roberts' hilarious request at the end 😂. I find her brilliant 👍🤣!
Go to Movie when i need to relax and feel good...
Richard Curtis is brilliant..we need more film from him..
Love this movie- and looking forward to seeing again this holiday season.
Although I'm not capable of love, this is a great movie.
Wasn't a Hugh Grant fan untill he danced down those stairs. Loved instantly!
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Anina Van Breda You need to watch Hugh Grant in Maurice. Its his first movie ever and It was the movie that made me a fan because it showcases him as a serious actor.
One of my most favorite Hugh Grant movie next to Notting Hill🤗
Oh and how much London has CHANGED since then not just our beloved cast!!! Thank you Diane
Hello. I just have to ask. Is that your real name or are you a big Bette Davis fan? I adore Now Voyager. Bonne journée
It’s a classic film ❤️..
Love Love Love this movie
“Your heart is no good as a heart until it’s been broken at least ten times.” 😢
I so love Richard Curtis! Thank you for this piece!
Love is all that matters!!!
Love this. Love so much of Richard Curtis' work inc all the Blackadders (with Rowan Atkinson & Ben Elton)
Needed this…thank you!
Great IDEA! TO DO THIS.
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Miss 45 Minutes, I love this movie, 'Love, Actually' My favourite movie all year.
I’m sorry you don’t know me I was just browsing through the comment section and I came across your comment and had the thoughts of being a friend hope you’re not mad?
Thank you for sharing this!!!!
It’s not one of my favourite Rom-Coms but I loved some of the performances and the whole Dame Queen Emma Thompson-Alan Rickman track was my favourite ❤
P.S. Rowan Atkinson is the unsung hero of the movie.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Emma is still just stunning
Thanks for this. Awesome movie.
@Ann Griffith - Treat yourself. I would be shocked it you were less than thrilled by the perfect touches in it from the creators and actors. It addresses so many truths about real love and it has fabulous references to old movies in the direction of scenes and sequences throughout the film. And if you don't fall in love with a young redhead, I'd be surprised. That young actor is Hugh Grant's cousin in real life and, boy, does that family have good genes. Uplifting.
Gran film Gran reparto👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇬🇧
Love that movie
One of my favorite movies. I watch it each year around this time and remember playing it on repeat in 2005-6 during finals week on the campus channel.
It'll be tough to update or make another one.
Somehow heartbreak feels good in a place like this
Love how the prime minister kinda looks like Trudeau LOL
True 😂😂
It’s the 20th anniversary next year, not this year.
Loved this clip & Im rewatching on Paramount app right now 😊
Richard Curtis - genius.
How have I never seen this movie? I've seen the Holiday 20 times. That horizontal dance move Hugh did was kind of rad. 🕺
My goodness.. you must watch it!! And let us know when you have 😁
The Holiday is simply one of the best and one of my favorites as well.
@@Lightning-H It's kind of great. Love that scene at the end where Cameron Diaz runs back to the cottage in the snow. Makes me super happy.
@@ct6852 There are also many other favorite scenes I never get tired of seeing or watching. For example, the scenes where Amanda Woods and Graham (Cameron Diaz & Jude Law) first meet together on one cold night at the cottage, and where Iris and Miles (Kate Winslet & Jack Black) sing together when making the ceremony music for Arthur (Eli Wallach). Not to mention, the scene where Arthur points out “So, he’s a schmuck” at the dinner together with Iris. One of my favorite movies of all time. Watch it a lot, especially during Christmas and the holidays.
haven't seen this movie,looks delightful!
It’s very sweet ;)
Just watched the first half this past weekend
I love it but I rarely catch on TV, I hope I catch it this holiday season.
Someone is having a hard time with maths. It's been 19 years GMA!
I scrolled way to long to find someone else that this bothered as much as me. Stop rounding GMA! This movie came out on November 6, 2003. 2022 - 2003 = 19.
I think this move helped kick start Mariah Carey’s All I want for Christmas is You and is the modern classic it is today at Christmas ❤Love this move, one of my favorites
Thought it was cool the first time I saw it and several times more sonce I still think it deserves the enormous success it has had and and continues to have . . .
This flick should have been revamped and had a make over for all the public.
A hit forever
Nah film favorit tiap akhir tahun 😁
Very few people know that one admirable and honourable ambassador of the UK made a video, combining two scenes from this movie, to say farewell to a country she was leaving at the end of her tenure. It was utterly lovely, cute, emotional and wonderful. Seems that this footage has since disappeared from YT, but for those who've seen it, it's unforgattable. All the best to her, wherever in the world she is now.
But... who?
Oh well...GOT to watch this on Hulu...😌.
I wish he would write more movies that make more sense
It's one of my favourite movies of all time ❤
I agree! In fact I watched this movie 3 months ago and I liked it.
I feel it in my finger , I feel it in my bones !!!
Bravo
So many of the actors went on to bigger fame. Keira Knightly, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Martin Freeman, Joanna Page, Chiwetel Ejiofor, & January Jones
I have a story in head that I will want some to give me chance to play or give the idea to some to put in a small movie.
Love it’s what we all need
And they found a witch like Diane Sawyer to interview for such a lovely film
Why exactly is the 20 year anniversary of a British film, with British actors, written and created by British people not being shown in Britain?
My point 😂😂😂. I was like what? GMA, seriously…
Lol Hugh. I am important 🤷♂️
The ladies love this film...
I love how the algorithm fed me this right after my 9 year relationship and 1 year engagement has ended 😏 thanks UA-cam!
