Our rabbit lives outdoors and his little house cage is always open. But for some reason he hates being outside. He just wants to be inside. My rabbit does this to great me in the mornings when i go into her shed to feed her and let her out in the garden for the day. I am half way up the garden and she knows i am coming so she thumps. Then i open the door to the shed and she thumps again. I open her cage and she runs out around my feet before thumping a final time and running into the garden. I swear she things she is a dog... once when i had some takeaway chips in the garden and i dropped 1, she ran over like a bolt of lightning and grabbed it and run off. By the time i got to her she had eaten the damn chip lol
You have no idea. Our bunnies are a bit chunkier and floofier then the bunny in the video and so when they lay down, you can't see their back legs any they turn into floofy loafs. I've actually resorted to calling them floof loafs :)
This was just adorable, an adorably silent disgruntled bunny rabbit with a couple thumps of disapproval followed by the pitter patter of his departure. The only thing worse is when they turn their back to you.. and then peak to make sure you are looking. Maybe that’s what this lop did next.
My bunny sometimes got mad when I was holding him and he'd thump ON me 😂 it kinda hurt lol. Whenever he thumped - cage, floor, or on me - I'd be like "WHAT?? WHAT'S WRONG" 😂 half the time there'd be no clear reason lol. I miss that bunny. He lived a decade.💙
Our baby bunny that we had 12 months ago lived in our conservatory during the day, then we put in him his 2 story hutch overnight under the carport. Every evening when we went "to put him to bed" he woul "Thump..thump...thump." We eventually got rid of the hutch and he now lives happily in the conservatory. He sure does have a good life. We let him in the garden for a while each day, but obviously keep a keen eye on him because of squirrels, cats etc. He never wanders far fom his conservatory, in fact goes inside when we say ' come on in" I quess he knows where his real home is. We are both retired & brought the rabbit for our Grandson, but we've all fell in love with her. Xx

Depending on tone that could be playful, flirting, or annoyance. Most animals have multiple "tones" in body language. This bunny is just annoyed.

My bun looks clearly upset when she sits in a loaf, sometimes it even looks like she's glaring like the bun here. When she's happiest she either stretches long on her belly, her face relaxed and alert, or she's racing around kicking up her heels, or my favorite, the side flop.
My sister owned a rabbit that would release completely human sounding grunts when he was pissed. Mind you he was rescued from a meat farm and was so inbred instead of front paws he had two stumps with a single claw on each that he would legit pounce at you with. I fucking hated that rabbit

My dog growls at us when we stop petting her (she's a very talkative dog so there's a big difference between her 'talking' to us and actually growling from aggression.) EDIT - JUNE 15th 2023: Hey everyone; it seems this was picked up by the algorithm again - I've been putting off editing this comment but I think it's time now :( We had to make the difficult decision to put Jafar to sleep on the 22nd of October 2022 :( he was 10 years and 7 months old, and he was very healthy until about a month before he passed. 10.5 is very very old for a bunny, and he had virtually no health issues throughout his life - he was very very loved and we like to think we gave him a good and happy life. We miss him immensely but we're so happy that he was with us for so long and that he was in good health until almost the end (and even during his last month he was happy and we don't think he was in pain - his back legs just got too weak and he couldn't move around. We wanted to make sure he wasn't suffering so we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye). I have some videos from his last day that I'll upload soon; I've been meaning to but it was just too difficult :( RIP Jafar March 2012 - 22 October 2022 Thanks for being our fave little man ------ 1) I know that bunnies thump when they're scared but I genuinely think he was just pissed off - he's a very sassy bunny and always tells me when he doesn't like something. He even headbutted my mum once because she was doing laundry and not petting him! We miss him immensely but we're so happy that he was with us for so long and that he was in good health until almost the end (and even during his last month he was happy and we don't think he was in pain - his back legs just got too weak and he couldn't move around. We wanted to make sure he wasn't suffering so we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye).
I have some videos from his last day that I'll upload soon; I've been meaning to but it was just too difficult :(

1) I know that bunnies thump when they're scared but I genuinely think he was just pissed off - he's a very sassy bunny and always tells me when he doesn't like something. He even headbutted my mum once because she was doing laundry and not petting him! I've seen him scared before (when he met a dog for the first time), and this was more of a "i can't believe you've done this" sort of thump.
2) Jafar doesn't give two shits about the robotic vacuum cleaner now - he's jumped on it a few times and also refuses to get out of the way when it's moving.
3) His name is Jafar because I thought it would be funny to name a cute little bunbun after a disney villain.
Thank you all for reaffirming that he is a cute little potato!
SECOND UPDATE: I just uploaded another short video of jafar from today :)
THIRD UPDATE: We think Jafar is a mini lop (there are 2 types of lop bunnies that look similar - the mini lop and the Holland lop. The mini lop is actually bigger than the Holland lop though so it can get confusing!). He is a light brown/caramel colour. He is a very good boy and is very very loved ^_^
