Theory: The Obscurity is THE most powerful character in GD.
Let me explain:
He/they only say "GG." at the end of the fight because they're giving the win to you, because well, GG is self-explanatory. Secondly, The RobTop soul only comes in when Obscurity comes in. Third, and this adds another part to the theory, The Dark Obscurity is actually _weaker_ than Obscurity on their own, because 1) The RobTop Soul doesn't come in, and 2) The Light literally one-shots them almost effortlessly! And since the player is (most likely) more powerful than The Light, that actually explains a LOT of why no one else steps in to defeat Obscurity. They _did_ permanently kill 'Till It's Over Cyan, so you gotta admit they're powerful. (My theory on how Obscurity came from JSaB, but wanted revenge because they were redacted, and how no one knew who they were.) Fourth, and this is for a future fanmade, I think that because The Obscurity falls into the Chaotic Good/Chaotic Neutral category. They're probably just misunderstood, and maybe they even wanted to help the player, who knows? So my conclusion to this will be that The Obscurity will come in as an deus-ex-machina character at some point to help the player defeat whatever boss it is.

I actually feel bad for The Obscurity... they’re just a rejected, neglected and insecure JSaB character who moved to JSaB’s rival, GD, and wanted to take down all JSaB levels after the discovery of them in GD.
