Thank you for bringing us along through the St. Lucie lock and dam. We used to live just up the river from there and would go through there with our Ranger Tug. By now I bet Brook has had the baby, so I hope everyone is doing well!
Great video.. hard to believe that was 6 months ago.. my life is certainly much different now! I am sure the folks on your channel understand that you are not actually living on the boat and have moved to a farm in Tennessee! Visiting the boat for a trip here and there until it sells will be a great way to keep an eye on it, unless the broker is checking on it until it sells! Look forward to what you will name your new Channel about life after the boat! Thanks for showing all the old footage! You had a good run
Excited to see the end of season and the soon to be new member of the crew. Big changes ahead. mom and dad juggling 2 kids was exciting ,3 kids amazing , 4 kids with one toddler and the other a new born a miracle. Decisions decisions.
Dang! We live in Franklin, in an ol' Victorian. You passed our home on your way in. But, we too were still in the Bahamas at that time. See ya'll next time!
Loved Penn's water slide cam. Well done! Life is so crazy now, right? You are doing a great job of juggling it all. We are just moving out of boat life and it's hard to imagine doing that every year! Lovely family and a good life. Not being negative with this final statement but Braden you are such a good looking man. Get rid of the facial hair and let it shine.
I go through the Busiest lock in the country. The Ballard Locks in Seattle. We are not required to wear life jackets, it is a good idea however. We are also not required to turn off your engines. The locks can really get jammed up if someone can't start their engine. A tow boat may have to be called and that could take awhile.
@@steveprice4779 been through those locks many times. Definitely can be “intense” at times and it can suck to have an almost ever present audience LOL.
@@36thstreethero northerly winds counter to the stream create horrible corkscrewing onboard, steeper waves, and conditions more likely to allow the development of large rogue waves. The Gulfstream is no joke - the intense and focused (5-6 MPH) flow of the current is not something you would encounter on the open ocean. While happily they lucked out here and made it across without issue, I just can’t imagine why you would want to take that risk in a boat that maxes out at 6-7kts. Barely more than sailboat speed. The boat may make it, but the crew take a beating.
I know if I was parking on the hard for the season in Florida I'd want to be inland. It may not be SAFE but it would be safer than in a coastal marina. You guys ARE going to need a "bigger boat" if not next season then the one after! I don't recall if you've said what you're rated for as far as tonnage, but at LEAST another cabin or two will be needed before too long!
You're in my winter stomping ground -- we live overlooking the St. Lucie Inlet and the Indian River lagoon. Wow, how will you squeeze another baby in the Nordhavn? Your family is outgrowing the boat quickly. But congratulations on the next one.
You live a great life! Since you were 8 months pregnant when that was filmed and that was 4 months ago, you should have a new little one. Any news to share on #4?
Big changes are coming. So, outside of the new addition of your daughter. Which is great. Apparently, you have come to the conclusion that your current Nordhavn is no longer big enough for the family?? With that said and I hope this will be the big change. You will be upgrading to the Nordhavn 86. Currently named Solace. Which I believe would be a great choice. There is also a 96' available too but I believe the 2 of you will feel it is to much boat and to big of a step up. I could be wrong. But there are 2 more options I have not mentioned. 1. You will get a boat that is not a Nordhavn. 2. You will be ending the series. We would not like the 2nd option but would completely understand this choice. We'll let me know if I am correct in my guesses.
@@gregchrist5090 an 86’ really pushes the extreme limit of what a husband/wife can safely handle. No way the 96’. Something in the 60-68’ range would be a great choice for them.

What a nice episode. I'm sure that you both realize how much you are missed when you are not here for our Sunday coffees. This was another great episode. Big changes coming? The family addition alone would qualify, interesting that the door seems open for bigger changes. Maybe it is just "Bye Bye Boat" for the season? We are in suspense.
I don't think it's abused very well maintained in videos rare twin motors 1.2 million easy Florida is a good safe place to sell if they decide to and not get robbed. I have been a long-term follower and really enjoyed following you. That is until today. Whether intended or not, bringing politics ("Fauci Science") to your channel is a really bad idea. Many, like myself, enjoy watching these channels not only for the content but to escape the current environment of extremely divided politics. Most channels understand this and stay away from it. With this, I am unsubscribing on my standard log-in and encourage like-minded people to do the same.
I’ve got no issue with you choosing to unsubscribe, but why do you feel compelled to tell other “like minded” people to do the same. Oh yeah, it’s because you chose to make it political. You can’t enjoy content from someone who has a different view than you? Your intolerance with other viewpoints is the problem with this country.
Watched your videos for a few years now. Didn't like this weeks comment about Dr Fauci's science. You need to apologize. Until you do I will spend my time on other's videos.

Oh fun cross country with the family and bonus the doggies. Memories your children will cherish later in life.😅
As someone who has never been to Atlantis but loves waterslides, I so appreciated Penn's "documentary." "Bro" should start his own VLOG. 😉
He really wants to haha!
It was cute!
You guys are definitely going to need a bigger boat soon. An 86 or 96 maybe…
There are 44 Nordhavn yachts listed under Preowned!
The market for yachts has collapsed as the operational costs have skyrocketed, if truth be told.
The “Penn Cam” rocks!
Enjoy all your videos looking forward to the NEW clean shaven videos in the future! Congrats on your new edition!!

South Florida boater here and I would never try to cross the stream with ANY northerly component. Especially in a slow boat like the Nordhavn.
Youre right. Don’t take the Nordhavn across the “stream”…but take it across the Atlantic/Pacific/Indian/Caribbean

I’m curious to know if money was no object and you could upgrade to a brand new Nordhavn, what would you upgrade to?

Keep your beard but they have some really great beard conditioners.
