They have a Simplex 4007ES system in the art center at my friend's university, replacing a Simplex 4002 panel from the early 1990s. But they just removed the old Simplex 4051 horns and slapped 4906-9127 TrueAlert horn/strobes onto the 4040-60 and 4050-80 light plates (before the 4002, they had a Simplex 4208 system installed in 1974). They kept the existing 4251-30 break-glass pulls and 2098-9201 photoelectric smoke detectors, along with a new TrueAlarm CO detector in the re-done boiler room.

Neat! The 4007ES Hybrid seems to be a common replacement for 4002s. Would've been cool to have a 4007ES with the older light plates/horns.
