I love this store. Whether it's HomePlus or Homeplus express I was always there. The produce and meat department are incredible. I just love this store. The one in Guri, Seoul, and the one in Sasang or Seomyeon, Busan were my go to locations.

Hello. 😊 I really enjoy your vlogs, & also these grocery vlogs. ☺️ I wanted to ask if you know why the price of fruit is very high in Korea? As I’m from the UK I don’t really have any idea on it & I just wondered. I eat lots of fruit, so I don’t think I’d survive in Korea, lol. 😅
Korea is a mountainous country. about 70% is covered by mountains. therefore, large-scaled farming is impossible 😢

What I'm shoomed about that almost every vegetable ir fruit is completely ! covered in plastic. In my country only things a few things are covered in plastic like berries or tomatoes.

Hey, I just want to know how you differentiate if a food item is vegetarian or not. Like here in India we have marks on all the food items, if the food item is vegetarian then it has green mark otherwise a red mark. How do you find this on korean food items?
They don't have that marks. But they have a label that says organic. Organic is vegan friendly right 😊😊
@@sassyinkorea Ok, but vegan is different from vegetarian in a few things. There should be an ingredients list at the back of the package right??
There is not a huge vegetarian/vegan culture in Korea, so the food industry doesn't really invest a lot into this. You would have to go by the ingredient list. Even then, don't be surprised by the lack of vegan options (most foods contain seafood or seafood flavorings, like fish sauce - even kimchi!).
Stuff in Korea costs the same as stuff in Washington state XD
