I also appreciate physiology animations. In my eyes the movement of substances seem to travel in the wrong direction. Or have I understood something wrong? In absorption, is looks as if substances moved to the tubules and when you talked about secretion, the direction of the arrows was from the tubules to the capillaries... Should it not be the other way round?

Wonderfully explained.
But it seems to me that the direction at which reabsorption and secretion are moving seems to be totally opposite.
In reabsorption, water, ions and electrolytes should have moved from the tubules into the blood vessels and vice versa.

bro what I have understood is secretion refers to the secretion of materials through blood vessels into the nephron parts where as reabsorption means absorption through blood vessels from nephron parts to the renal tubules or blood vessels. for example here pct se electrolytes lega renal tubules that is reabsorption whereas h+ secretion means secretion from blood vessels or renal tubules.
